The Grease Monkey is one of the more interesting balls I use. With its symmetric core and polished cover, it definitely works well on drier lanes or chopped up heads resulting from a game or two of league or tournament play. But, the biggest reason it has found a spot in my arsenal is that it simply bails me out of trouble time after time. If I am struggling to match up to the condition, or am making ball changes that are not working, I have learned to just go to the Grease Monkey. It has a knack of just working - even when I don't think it is the ball that makes the most sense. It gets through the heads cleanly and then shows great hitting power at the pins. In fact, my team mates can frequently be heard saying "isn't it time to get the Monkey out". And it usually is. No matter what balls I take to cover the various oil patterns, I usually include the Grease Monkey simply because it works on such a variety of patterns. Oh, and if you're a hand guy (which I'm not), you can wind this one up as much as you want and still strike until the cows come home. By the way, this ball has a great price point making it one of the best values out there. Great ball by Radical Bowling Technologies as in #wowthatsradical. Neat slogan! Dave Cushion Dewitt, Michigan

EZ use category, thats putting it mildly. This ball glides through the nastiest heads with ease and recovers with one thing in mind, striking! Very affordable for the beginner and a must have for the more serious bowler and at this price you cant pass this one up.

This ball is awesome with a great name too....a throwback to the lane man. In terms of ball reaction the patented swoop core makes this one quite versatile based upon layout. The one I drilled pin down (45 x 4.5 x 70 with a p3 weight hole) picks up the midlane with a strong continuous motion to the pocket, whereas the one I drilled pin up (70 x 4.5 x 45) gets through the mids clean as a whistle then comes off the dry with an angular motion that nearly breaks the pins. This ball does not like oil, but if you're on medium to dry conditions, this one is great!!

Truly unbeatable performance at this price. Put the double thumb layout with some surface and watch it out hook, and hit, balls like the Hy-Road. With the heavy gloss finish you won't see as much hook. Great for when the Yeti Uncaged goes a bit too long. This one gives you similar length with a smoother backend (still on the flippy side.)

Amazing peformance for the price. This is a really great house shot option because it revs in the mid-lane and picks up without overhooking. Once it encounters the friction it makes a defined move that is easy to read. I am going to have a lot of fun throwing this ball. Layout: pin directly under ring finger, ~5inches from PAP.
