The Pivot Point is a great follow up to the Pivot. We have all heard that lanes are cleaner and dryer than ever before. That is why we have created the Pivot Point! It is cleaner, it is still strong in the mid lane and most importantly it continues with strength and power through the pin deck!

my honest opinion is this ball is twice as good as the pivot.after thirty games or so my pivot is dead. after thirty games the pivot point is better than ever.this thing has more back end, carry and power than all my pearl stuff.if you want to try one of these two balls get the pivot point you wont be sorry.thanks for reading my review.

The Pivot Point is the newest high performance ball from Ebonite. Its sister ball, the Pivot has been a very successful ball for me especially in heavier oil and higher volume environments. At times the Pivot is too strong for the surface and/or the environment. The Pivot Point is the perfect companion to the Pivot. This is one of the rare balls that is factory polished but yet has strong ball motion in higher volumes and longer patterns. When the Pivot is too early, the Pivot Point is very clean and reads the body of the lane (midlane) but yet still maintains the angular shape at the back of the lane. It is a great transition ball to the Pivot. The first event I used the Pivot Point in was a local scratch event. For the 8 game block, I set the 8 game record averaging 267 with the Pivot Point. The surface was HPL and the volume was medium to medium high. Ebonite’s ball lineup currently is the best I have seen in many years. The Pivot Point is one of those rare balls that’s hard to keep in your bag. This is a tremendous ball!

Ebonite has came out with another great high performance bowling ball. This ball is great if you are looking for a ball that goes through the lanes clean with great back end and hits like a truck. If you have a pivot I high suggest to get this ball because it suits the pivot when the lanes are transitioning and need something to go long and hook more in the back. Ebonite also has teamed up with Folds of Honor and that every pivot point that are sold by President's weekend $5 will go into the Fold's of Honor Foundation. WOW this ball compliments my PIVOT extremely well! So far I have bowled both on a house shot and a couple WTBA Medium sport patterns. I currently have two of these drilled, basic drillings on pin above the ring fingers and one pin below and will certainly be bringing these balls with me wherever I go. I am a straighter, higher speed, low rev rate player so I tend to need something that will not only get through the front part of the lane clean but also restore enough energy to recover strong in the backend. I usually start with my pin down to give me more of a smooth even roll through the pins, but once that starts to pick up too early I can slowly inch my feet left and go to my pin up Pivot Point that allows me to open up the lane.
