Out of the light comes....the DARKNESS? This is the one time we should all be kept in the "dark". I have never had a ball this strong out of the box. Had to put polish on mine after only throwing it twice. Realized that it needed more oil than I was applying it to. Let's talk surface...4000 abralon with an F77 solid cover. Definitely reads early, "Doogie Howser" style. Mix in the "Dark Tower Symmetric" core, and ladies and gentlemen, we have a hook monster. I got this beast to recover on a lane where the carrydown pushed the ball about 55 ft. It will be in my bag for every tournament because I know it will be a complete asset when the lanes are slick. I'm pretty sure if you have a 900 Global Network AND an AMF Darkness in your bag, you will not be disappointed. Put favorite drill pattern on new AMF Darkness 4 by 4 2" pin buffer, added a coat of Storm step 1 polish to cover thinking I wouldn't be able to throw in normal league conditions in OOB finish. They say continuation and they meant it! Extremely surprised with the mid-lane roll with no quit off the spot! Very readable motion, roll with hard arc. The cover did force my deeper with my speed but the deeper I moved and the more the lanes transitioned the better it got! 4 games in - 266 (3rd game, front 8) and 279, 248, 279, 806...the ball is as advertised! Hook, continuation and carry big time with this ball. AMF has a true winner in the Darkness. Joe Arvai.

The new AMF Darkness what a versatile ball, this ball has the F-77 solid coverstock and Dark Tower Symmetric core with an enhanced flip block and a lower RG and a higher differential. This a go to ball that works on ANY condition. I laid this ball out with a 4” X 4” X 1” my PAP is 5 3/8 right and 1” down. This ball is very strong thru the middle to the back of the lane and what a backend this ball creates, it just keeps on coming. I used Darkness on the 52’ Badger pattern and dropped the surface down to 500 abralon, I was impressed on how it handled the pattern it actually gave me a little miss area. I then took the Darkness surface back to box 4000 and used it on the 40’ Wolf pattern and it really shined on this pattern with a 669 series. The only thing left to do was polish it, and that is what I did and used it on a 39’ broken down house pattern and the Darkness never let up. That’s why I said what a versatile ball; it fits any style from the high rev player to the low rev player and is a must addition to any ones arsenal.

The Darkness is due out on 2/20/2014 I have to say this is the smoothest most continuous ball I have EVER thrown! I can't believe the amount of recovery this ball has when you squeak one to the right a little to much! And HARD, MAN does this ball hit HARD! I drilled mine a bit more stacked with pin up and the CG kicked out just enough to throw without putting a weight hole in it. It has 7/8 finger weight and 3/4 side weight. I have thrown mine at Chops and Mockingbird in Omaha NE. as well as at city in Rockford Illinois and wow does this ball roll phenomenal! I can play up the lane wih it around eight board and also move in with it around third arrow and farther! It seemed like the farther left I had to go the better my look became. I would say this is the best compliment to the 900 Global Network! I can break them down with the AMF Darkness and then switch to the 900 Global Network! Man is 900 Global/AMF are making some awesome stuff! I have never been as excited about bowling than I am right now! If you don't own a 900Global or AMF ball you should!
