The Brunswick MasterMind Intellect features the same weight block as the previous releases along with the new Honor Roll A+ solid reactive cover. 45 x 4 1/2 x 70...pin under ring finger with low WH on VAL line Honestly speaking, when I first threw this release, I did not like it with the OOB finish. I am a 15 MPH bowler and that just did not work for me. After about a month of subpar performances, I decided to take the cover all the way up to 4000 grit and add slip agent polish---similar to my MasterMind Genius that I bowled 300 with....WHAT A DIFFERENCE....In the next 2 weeks I bowled 3 700 series, the highest being 771---WITH 3 OPEN FRAMES... This ball is easily my go to ball when I can't get any pop on the back end or just want to see a quicker movement off the spot without loss of control. Once again another winner from Brunswick. At Fresno State, we exclusively throw Brunswick, Radical, and DV8 equipment. This is my third year on the team and I've gone through about 20 different balls and I have to say that this is the best ball I've thrown so far. I used a layout with the pin in the 2:00 position and the ball provides me with excellent versatility on patterns and allows me to keep chasing the shot left without having to ball down. I'm able to use this ball from start to finish without sacrificing pin carry. #BowlwithBruns #FresnoState #prebs

Wow! Another great release from Brunswick. This ball is a masterpiece in the Mastermind line. When the original becomes a little too early, this ball is perfect. This ball fits perfectly in between the Mastermind and the Mastermind Genius. I've tested this ball on the typical house shot and some longer sport patterns. I am amazed how well this ball reads the middle part of the lane, and then the continuation is jaw dropping. If you want more angle and more strikes, this is the ball for you! Dave Rice

This ball is special! you really don't see a asymmetrical ball that finishes like the mastermind intellect. it really fits in well between the original mastermind and the genius. its a little longer than the mastermind and a little earlier than the genius and has great predictable motion off the end of the pattern. this would be a great ball for someone with a lower rev rate. I would definitely have this ball in my bag if I was a tournament bowler! Brunsick Advisory Staff, Seth Carden

The Mastermind Intellect combines the best attributes of the original Mastermind and the Genius. The solid coverstock of this ball shoots through the front of the lane like the hybrid cover did of the Genius. When this ball gets down the lane it gives you that excellent traction and recovery that you had with the original Mastermind. The great thing about this is it gives you more versatility when playing different angles. If desired you can stay straighter longer because of how clean this ball is in the front part of the lane. The opposite looks great as well due to the powerful midlane traction this ball gives you. If you want to move in and throw it right you always have great recovery. This ball is a monster through the pin deck, the amount of energy it retains for a solid cover and super strong core is truly amazing. Greg Piper

This is my go to ball on medium to long sport patterns. It's very controllable through the midlane and picks up hard when it matters to really power through the pins. Changing surfaces on this ball does not diminish it's effectiveness, I've used it at 1000, 1500, and 2000 with success, as conditions warrant. Add this to your arsenal and you won;t be disappointed. Natalie C - Chicago PROS Consistent Reaction Good Quality Construction Strong backend BEST USES Medium-high Volume Oil Med-long Length Pattern Tournaments This ball has great reaction! I like to use it as a bench mark ball to decide whether I need to go to my Mastermind or ball down to my Melee Jab. I recommend this ball for med-heavy oil. It definitely reads the lane best in oil.

This ball didn't dissapoint for medium-heavy oil and might be the best compliment to a heavy oil coverstock ever produced by Brunswick. The Intellect is a perfect compliment to the first 2 Masterminds. It fits right in the middle of the Mastermind and the Genius. This is the best bench mark asymmetrical ball since the Nexus Solid. It handles oil but not too much in out of box finish and it handles mediums perfectly. A slight surface change created a good heavy oil reaction. This coverstock is extremely tunable. Dislikes:I personally prefer solid one color balls but the shelf appeal on this ball is undeniable. So it isn't really a dislike rather than a personal quirk! :)

Great game one ball! I am a medium speed player with 425 rpms. I have never seen a ball see the middle of the lane and finish so strong. This ball is the real deal. Extremely versatile and probably the strongest and hardest hitting bowling ball i have ever used!
