Staff Review
I drilled this ball up with the pin 4 inch and the CG 3 1/2 inches from my PAP. I need a weight hole, and placed it on my PAP. This ball is the first of Lane Masters Inner Core/Outer Core balls. I was happy to see that Lane Masters is making a move to this technology. I tested this ball out of the box and 2000 Abralon. In the box finish this ball was super clean through the heads and reved up hard in the mid-lane. This ball revs up harder than any other ball from Lane Masters that I can remember. In the box condition, this ball tended to be a little squirty for our Heavy volume house shot, so then I sanded it with a 2000 Abralon pad. Wow, what a difference. This ball was able to give me more area and more recovery on our normal house pattern. Overall, this ball is a great addition to the Lane Masters line up, and I look forward to the next ball in the series, and hopefully a solid reactive version will come. It you have been thinking about a Lane Masters ball, pick this one up, whether it is your first or just another addition to the bag, this ball will be a good add.
