How can I find what I'm looking for?
There are lots of ways to find exactly the product(s) you're looking for. One easy way is to use our Search feature, found on each page. You can search by keywords, such as “bowling ball,” the name of the bowling ball or you can enter a product number. Our Search will provide you with the best matches to your query. Another way to find what you're looking for is to navigate by category. For example, if you're looking for a pair of shoes simply go to the left of the web page and click on “Bowling Shoes.” From there choose from th list of available manufacturers. Still can't find what you're looking for? Call one of our sales reps at  866-717-7772  and they will be happy to assist you.



How do I place an online order?

Shopping and ordering online is a breeze at our online store. First select the item you desire, enter the quantity you would like to purchase and click the "Add to Cart" button. This will put the desired item into your shopping cart. If there are more items you would like to purchase click on "Continue Shopping". If you need to make a change to the quantities that you have in your basket, change the quantity number and then click "Update Basket". When you have all the items in your shopping cart that you desire click "Checkout Now". In the "Final Checkout" page you can "Register & Checkout" or if you are a returning customer that has an account profile setup then click "Sign In here". Please verify that the quantities and items in the shopping cart are accurate and that your "Billing, "Shipping", and Credit Card information is correct. If so, then click "Complete Checkout". 



New customers
— If you haven't completed an online transaction with us, it's quick and easy to create an account. Begin by clicking on 'My Account' at the top of each page. This will take you to the account ‘Customer Login' page. Once there, click the link that says ‘Register". Next you'll go to the account registration page where you'll be prompted to enter some relevant information to create your Buddies Pro Shop account. Once completed, our website will recognize your registered email address. For future transactions, all you'll have to do is enter your email and registered password.



Returning customers
— If you are an established Buddies Pro Shop customer who has made an online purchase and has an account set up, all you will need to do is click on "My Account" and sign in with your email address and password. Once your order is completed you will receive an order confirmation number and an order confirmation email. We recommend that you keep these for your records until you receive your order.

    GIFT CARDS & E-CARDS

    Does Buddies Pro Shop offer gift cards/certificates?
    We offer gift cards/certificates for
    purchase here. There are available in $25, $50, $75, and $100 denominations. They are easy to redeem online.


    What is a e-card?

    The e-card is an ultra-fast gift card solution. Simply purchase them online with a credit card, and within 24 hours, the e-card will arrive to your designated recipient via email. The e-card can be redeemed online.

    E-cards are available in denominations of $25, $50, $75, and $100 and can be purchased here.

    What shipping charges apply to gift cards?

    Buddies Pro Shop offers no delivery charge for standard delivery via the U.S. Postal Service. Standard delivery orders will arrive within 3 to 7 business days.

  • Please note that you must purchase multiple gift cards separately in order to ship them to different addresses.



    Where can I redeem my gift card or e-gift card?

    Gift cards and e-gift cards can be used with any online order or at the Buddies Pro Shop retail store.



    Can I use a gift card or e-card as a partial payment for any Buddies Pro Shop

    Yes. Gift cards and e-gift cards can be used with any online order or at the Buddies Pro Shop retail store. Upon checkout, once you are in the Shopping Cart page simply enter your gift card or e-card number in the coupon code and then click "Add to Cart".

    How can I checkout?
    Click on the ‘Your Cart' link at the top of any page to begin the process and follow the prompts for checkout.



    How can I be certain that my order has been received?

    Upon completion of your order, Buddies Pro Shop will send you an order confirmation e-mail specifying the products and quantities ordered, shipping and sales taxes (if applicable), and shipping address to your designated email address. Please note that this can only occur if the email address you submitted upon registration is still active.


    You can update your existing ship-to address specific to this order once you are in the shopping cart.



    Can I change my online order?
    If you need to make a change to an existing online order after submittal, please contact Buddies Pro Shop Customer Service by phone (toll-free US:  1-866-717-7772 ; International:  203-38...) or fax (203-384-4990) or
    email us as soon as possible. Although we will try our best to accommodate your change, Buddies Pro Shop cannot guarantee that the order change can occur once it is submitted. Please include your name and order number. There may be a slight delay between your online order submission and the download to our order processing system; therefore, it is vital that you have all the necessary information available for one of our Customer Service Representatives.

    SHIPPING & DELIVERY

    What are my shipping options?
    Most packages are shipped domesticly using UPS. At the time of check out the customer can choose Ground, 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, and Next Day Air. The day a package is shipped is not consider a shipping day. Thus if you select 2nd Day Air (order submitted before 11 a.m. EST) and the order is placed on Monday, the package would not be received until Wednesday.

    International Customers may select either UPS or USPS (United States Postal Service) for methods of shipping. Packages being mailed using USPS may not be tracked and there are no guarantees on delivery time.

    Why has my order been delayed?

    Shipping delays may occur during busy holidays or the beginning of the fall bowling season. We will do our best to accommodate last-minute and expedited orders placed during these times. In general, online orders ship within 48 hours upon submittal. "Next Day Air", "2-Day Air", and "3-Day Select" deliveries are based on when orders leave Buddies Pro Shop. Orders must be placed by 11 a.m. (EST) Monday-Friday in order to be eligible for that day's "Next-Day Air", "2-Day Air", and "3-Day Select" shipments. If you are specifying expedited shipping requests over the weekend, please note that an order placed over the weekend will not be shipped until Monday evening.


    Where is my order being shipped from?

    The majority of orders are processed and shipped from our headquarters in Fairfield, Connecticut. Please keep that in mind when you decide your delivery method (i.e., an overnight shipment to Hartford will not get there much faster than a standard ground delivery). Also, on occasion, we ship items or entire orders from other locations. Shipments from other locations cannot be expedited and may add a day or two to the delivery time.


    Can I use my own FexEx or UPS account to ship my order?
    Sorry but at this current time we can not bill to other FedEx or UPS accounts.


    Can I have an online order shipped to the store where I can pick it up?

    Yes, just enter our store address in the shipping address information section when checking out.


    Is a shipment to Guam and Puerto Rico considered an international order?

    No. Orders shipping to Guam and Puerto Rico are considered domestic orders and are therefore charged domestic order rates.

    How do I return merchandise?

    Please fill out a
    Return Request Form. Return all items using UPS or FedEx. All items should be returned in its originally packaging and packed inside of a protective box.

    PROFESSIONAL BOWLING BALL DRILLING

    Can Buddies Pro Shop Drill my ball? 

    Yes we can. You would need to email us your specs, fax us your specs, submit a Drilling Form through the site or ship a ball to us so we can take the specs from it. 


    What are Buddies Pro Shop's fees for drilling?

    There are four drilling options and rates. $30 fee for holes with no thumb slug and no finger inserts installed. $38 fee for holes with no thumb slug but finger inserts installed. $42 fee for holes with thumb slug installed but no inserts installed. And our $50 fee for holes with thumb slug installed and finger inserts installed.


    If I send in a ball is there any charge to get the ball back to me?

    If you make a purchase to have a ball drilled by Buddies Pro Shop then there is no charge to get your original ball back to you.

    SHOE SIZE PROTECTION AND BAG PROTECTION


    What is Shoe Size Protection?
    By purchasing "Shoe Size Protection" at the time of purchase you eliminate all costs of returning the new shoes that do not meet your satisfaction to BuddiesProShop.com and having new shoes sent to you. Shoes must be returned in brand new condition. Please try on your new shoes on a DRY CLEAN SURFACE, to make sure they fit correctly. We CANNOT exchange shoes that have been used or worn on the lanes. SHOES MUST BE IN PERFECT CONDITION TO BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED. You may not purchase protection after the shoes have been shipped.  This is good for one return and reshipment only. Note: Customer has 30 days from order date to request exchange.
     *Only available to customers shipping within the continental U.S.A.


    What is Bag Protection?
    By purchasing "Bag Protection" at the time of purchase you eliminate all costs of returning bags that do not meet your satisfaction in new condition upon receipt and having a replacement bag sent to you. Bag Protection also eliminates these costs with regard to claims for defective merchandise covered under the manufacturer's warranty. You may not purchase protection after the bag has been shipped. This is good for one return and reshipment only. Note: Customer has 30 days from order date to request exchange on NEW bag.  *Only available to customers shipping within the continental U.S.A.

    PIN POSITION AND TOP WEIGHT

    What is Pin Position and Top weight?
    All bowling balls have different pin distances out from the CG and various top weights. Usually your pro shop professional will decide what specifics he wants based on your span, relative to where he wants to place the pin and cg and if he wants to use a balance hole. These specifics aren’t necessary for the consumers to choose, but we allow you to pick what you want and we fill all orders exact or as close as possible based on availability.

    Pin Position – The pin distance describes how far the pin and the cg are apart. A pin-in ball is where the pin and cg are any where from 0-1” apart. A pin-out ball is where the pin and cg are any where from 1” + apart.

    Example #1: Balls with a 0-1” pin will get the ball into a slightly earlier roll with slightly less flare potential.

    Example #2: Balls with a 3-4” pin out will give the ball slightly more length and more flare potential than the ball in example 1.

    Top Weight – The amount of imbalance placed in the bowling ball to offset the removal of weight from the gripping holes. Average top weight ranges from 2-4 oz.

    Example #1:  Balls with 2 oz or less top weight will get the ball into a slightly earlier roll.

    Example #2 Balls with 2 oz or more top weight will give the ball slightly more length than the ball in example 1.

    Again, all these things are best left up to your pro shop professional, but when you are doing online ordering and aren’t sure what exactly you need go off of the information above. Remember these are all small adjustments in the balls reaction, if you ordered a 3-4” pin and all that is available is a 1-2” pin, don’t worry. Your pro shop professional can still drill the ball to react how you want it.

    Pins 1-4 inch are industry standard, along with 2-4oz top weight.

    The Correct Layout, along with Bowler Ability are the biggest factors in the balls performance
