Columbia 300 is excited to introduce a new series to the high-end line with the Command. The Commandis a strong asymmetric pearl, which together creates excellent mid-lane and continuation. The core and cover are all-new and have been developed to produce more motion from a shiny pearl than seen before in the Columbia 300 line.

    Command!!!!!

Posted by Paul Smith on Jun 8th 2021

The command for me is to strike! The command I drilled I put the pin closer to my axis because with this strong asymmetric ball I wanted it to be a little straighter through the fronts but still hook quick and strong off the backend. If you're arsenal needs a strong shiny ball this is the one!

    65 x 3 3/4 x 35 – PAP 4 ½ -> and ½^ - Speed – 15mph – Rev Rate 380

This ball is clean through the fronts and does not disappoint in the backend reaction. This layout does not too much flip for me on the backend but has great continuation. I had the same layout on my Prism Hybrid because the core shape seemed very similar. The reaction is pretty close to what I had before, but a little cleaner and more angular because of the pearl coverstock. It would be good for medium oil volumes.

    Command is a home run

This ball is a very good step down from a bigger asymmetrical solid. It is extremely controllable and I haven’t been able to put it down since I drilled it.

    Command the pocket

I was very impressed by the Command From Columbia. This is going to be your big strong asymmetrical skid slip ball. I was very impressed with this balls ability make it back to the pocket from any part of the lane. This ball had no problem getting though the front part of the line and watching it turnover and absolutely demolished the pins on the backend.

    Command Review

Posted by Matt Murtishaw on Feb 21st 2021

The super high performance skid/flip pearls are typically not the best types of balls for my style and what I like to see on the lanes, but the Command is a brand of skid/flip that I can actually use. I am somewhat rev dominant, so the big skid/flip balls are typically hard to manage in the back, but the Command actually does a really good job of blending the lanes while maintaining a sharp entry angle. It still does what it is intended to do, like get through the front and create angle down-lane, but it doesn't sacrifice control to do so.

I also think this would be a good ball for speed dominant players looking for a strong pearl. Because it won't blast through the front and never enter a good roll. The ball has some teeth, so I consider it to be a lot more useful than your typical skid/flip ball.

    Command

All around versatile ball. Typically seen in solids and hybrids, this new core and cover combo is one of a kind! Those who like predictability can certainly find that in this ball!

    C300 COMMAND

    COMMAND IS A KEEPER!!!!!
WOW!!! Hot off the press with a 300, game 1, on league night. I'm very excited about this strong Asymmetrical Pearl from Columbia. The ball was super clean through the front part of the lane and angular on the back end. I was super impressed with the STRONG but PREDICTABLE back end motion. C300 has outdone themselves with this one. I can see the COMMAND having a home in the bag for quite some time. 65x4x35

The Columbia Command, silky clean cover. Clearing less than idea heads are not an issue. Yet the ball maintains a strong consistent reaction!!

    Columbia 300 Command

Posted by Andrew Jensen on Jan 20th 2021

The new Columbia 300 Command has a new core design called movement. Combined with the A.R.S. (Angular Reaction System) cover, it gives me one of the best motions I’ve seen down lane from an asymmetrical ball since the Columbia 300 Savage Life. As I compare the Command to other balls in their line I see the Command being the perfect go to after the Dynamic Swing. For me, the Dynamic swing is a great ball to help get a slower motion through the middle of the lane and the Command is the ball you go to when the Dynamic Swing has become too strong through the fronts and mids. The Command will give you more distance and a quicker response down lane. For me in comparison to other balls on the market, the Command is the closest to the Astro Physix in motion. The Command would be a great choice if you’re looking for a new cover to replace your Astro Physix and also perfect for those that need an asymmetric piece that is clean and will respond very quickly down lane. I have found good use for this ball playing up and in from the outside on a house shot and inside the lane when I need to see better distance and a stronger, quicker response down lane. A great useful piece to add to your bag.
