 Additional Product Information:

The Power Torq Pearl is a highly anticipated follow-up to the popular Power Torq released last fall.  Power Torq made its way into the bag of bowlers of every skill level.  The pearl version will appeal to those satisfied customers and anyone needing the consistent ball motion of a Power Torq, but with a stronger breakpoint.  The new Power Torq Pearl is gorgeous, and it performs; this ball is a sure thing!

    Torq it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this ball!!! It is one of the best bench mark balls out there just like the solid version but I personally like this one more because of the added pop down lane. I have found myself using this ball on house and tournament shots. Great ball that is always in my bag!!!

Columbia 300 Power Torq Pearl: Great benchmark addition!

I drilled the Columbia 300 Power Torq Pearl 45 x 4.5" x 65 to be that smooth rolling pearl that I can use as a benchmark off of solids like the GB4. It fits this spot in my bag perfectly. I love this ball on the Mark Roth sport oil pattern, and the 41 ft. house shot pattern at a different center, both on HPL lane surface. It clears the fronts easier than the Power Torq Solid, but still rolls heavy and firm through the pins, without being as sensitive as the higher rg, lower diff. pearl balls can be. This is the perfect marriage of power and performance. Grab one today, you will be glad you did!

Happy to See a Power Torq Pearl

I wrote a review for the Power Torq and thought it made a great benchmark ball. It is a bit rolly and I find that you either need a lot of hand in that ball or need to be very gentle with it at the bottom to let the ball do the work. I’ve had some success with the Power Torq and wanted to see what the Power Torq Pearl looked like. Given its pearl coverstock, the ball does go a bit further and doesn’t have the same hitting power as the Damn Good Verge Pearl. That being said, if I’m bring two pearls to a tournament, this ball is a great compliment when the backends get fried and I don’t want the ball to overreact. Think about how you want to build your arsenal. You are going to bring at least 1, if not 2, pearls. This makes a great second – not as aggressive but very predictable and reliable.

    ball & service

Once again i get a ball that fits my style of bowling and was drilled properly to produce the best results. Chris & his team are the best and actually watch how you bowl and recommend & drill the ball that works best for you. Awesome job again and could not be happier....

    Power Torq Pearl

The Power Torq Pearl is a great compliment to the original Power Torq. The Pearl is very smooth and predictable. The Pearl gives up more length with acring motion on the back end. The Pearl rolls great on league shots, and sport conditions. The Pearl is a little earlier than most pearl balls, however it does not go sideways on the back. The new Power Torq Pearl is most predictable ball I have thrown in awhile. I can see this ball matching up with multiple bowling styles.

    Power Pearl

The Columbia300 PowerTorq Pearl is very clean thru the front with a more defined pop in the backend. This ball stores energy very well and unleashes it all at the pocket. Compared to its predecessor, this ball actually out hooks it by a few when the house pattern has gone thru some transition. I drilled mine 60 x 5.00 x 40. This ball will be one of the most versatile pearl balls in your bag. Although this ball may not be suitable to Heavy patterns but for typical league conditions/Medium patterns; it is a YES!

    Smooth as silk!!

The Power Torq Pearl is probably one of the smoothest balls I have ever drilled. It picks up in the midlane earlier than I expected from a Pearl coverstock. But it is very controllable at the breakpoint. Works great for me on your typical house shot when the backends are strong and I need a little more control. Great continuation through the pins even when I start to move into 3rd and 4th arrow. Definitely a great ball to have in your lineup.

    Smooth Down and In

Super impressed by this ball! If you like to play down and in, this is the ball for you. This ball has a very smooth downlane read and comes off the pattern very well. Was able to get away with pushing the ball out and it coming back nice and strong or pulling the ball a little bit and it holding. This is a must have for any level bowler!
