Additional product information:

Consistent with previous Pitbull series balls, the Pitbull Bark is super aggressive and will handle the oiliest lane conditions. Bowlers have loved the Pitbull series because they always hook and never seem to lose energy on the backend. The Pitbull Bark hooks a ton and now hits even harder with the addition of DynamiCore.

    Great Heavy Oil Ball

Posted by Dustin Bearden on Dec 6th 2018

The DV8 Pit Bull series has been a winner with me from the beginning. Every one of those balls has matched up well with my game, but having the Dynamicore technology has taken the Bark to the next level. The first night I had the ball saw the lanes playing a little slicker than usual. I pulled out the Bark and easily handled the extra oil to the tune of an 807 series. The ball still has the heavy early roll, but it plays very consistent. As soon as the ball makes the smooth turn off the break point, the Dynamicore technology takes over and it destroys the pins. It has wonderful continuation through the pocket, and gives maximum carry. If you need a ball to tackle oil, there isn't a better one on the market than the DV8 Pit Bull Bark!

It's Bark is Loud and Powerful

The new DV8 Pitbull Bark is the newest ball in the Pitbull line and is the first in the DV8 line to feature the new DynamiCore technology which increases hitting power in this ball. The ball is a Low RG ball, but has a tremendous amount of hooking and hitting power unlike any of the previous balls in the Pitbull line. The Pitbull Bark totally outhooks the previous Pitbulls and is without a doubt the best in the line. This asymmetrical core bowling ball is a great reader ball on fresh and heavy oil. With my rev rate of 432 and a layout of 60x5x40, the Pitbull Bark drilled pin up provides continuous roll and dynamic ball motion to the pocket. The hitting power in this ball is simply amazing! The Pitbull Bark is best used on heavy oil. DV8….If you are not throwing DV8, you’re just not bowling! #brunswickbowling, #dv8bowling, #radicalbowling technologies

    Pitbull BArk

The Pitbull Bark is amazing on heavy oil. I’m a cranker with high ball speed, I have used the Pitbull Bark on league patterns also challenge patterns and opens up so many angles to the pocket! I drilled my Pitbull Bark 35x5.25x30 and it rolls so clean. I have the Pitbull Bark hooking about 5 more boards than my Pitbull Bite but, It rolls off the spot down lane much cleaner and picks up in the oil a little sooner. The most special part of this ball is the Dynamicore technology this ball will carry better and keep the pins low to the deck. If you need a ball to help you with some oily patterns this is the ball to get!

    That ball hooks

Here is the latest addition to the Pitbull line, the Pitbull Bark. This ball features the same core as the other Pitbull but is wrapped with the same cover base featured in the bite but the added some additive to create the Composite Fang Max. The cover provides more down lane reaction to the ball. Another terrific addition to the DV8 line is dynamicore. The Bark is the first ever DV8 to provide that technology. So you can get more carry out of the ball!

I punched this ball with a 45 x 3” x 70 layout. Usually I tend to put more weak layouts on the stronger ball to avoid the ball to burn up too fast but for this one I decided to get the max out of it.

On the lane, this ball is a monster. This ball hooks a ton. I was surprise that the ball doesn’t burn up even with stronger layout. I was even more surprised to see so much continuation I can get in the pins. Compared to the Bite, I needed to move to boards left with my feet and one with me eyes because the ball is so much stronger on the backend. When I switched to the Poison, I had to move two boards right with my feet and 1 with my eyes to be able to get to the pocket. The Bark offers earlier roll, so I can cross more boards. When I compared the ball with a pearl one, I had to move four boards right with my feet and two with my eyes to be able to hit the pocket with the Hitman Enforcer. I know, those two balls are not in the same ballpark, but I wanted to compare it with something pearl!

The ball comes with a 1000 grit finish on it but don’t be afraid to adjust the surface because this cover is versatile. For the speed dominants like myself, some surface can be added. I played a tournament with a 500 grit on it and the ball was still not burning up. For people with less speed, you can adjust the cover to 2000 or 3000 grits to get more length. You can even put some polish on the ball if you want it more flippy and this ball looks really nice with some polish on it
