Additional product information:

Obsession Tour was one of the most unique releases over the last few seasons; the asymmetric core with a low RG and low Differential offers bowlers a shape they have not seen before. The Obsession Tour is always in our pro's bags, and the ball still wins tournaments. The Envy Tour was developed to add a stronger and more responsive cover to the Obsession Tour core, creating that same unique shape, just more of it. Bowlers will love the solid black color and the dark purple logos that don't show as the ball travels down the lane, and the extra mid-lane and recovery will make this a popular ball for everyone.

    Envy Tour

Great compliment to the Envy. Where the envy is an absolute hook monster the Envy tour is smoother and rounder shaped motion. Responsive to friction but not jumpy. Great middle of the bag piece. Can handle higher volumes of oil no problem. This is an absolutely great add to every tournament players bag.

    Envy Tour

The Envy Tour is a ball that should not be over looked. The Envy Solid coverstock wrapped around the original Obsession Tour core is a great combination, and provides you with a ball that has the same shape as the Obsession Tour with more responsiveness at the break point. This ball is very versatile and can be used on both house and sport patterns.

    Strong and Controllable

The Envy Tour is quickly becoming another favorite, that Hammer has released. Just like the Obsession Tour, the Envy Tour is a step up, in a very good way. The Envy Tour is a bit earlier and stronger off the spot. But, still controllable with plenty of energy and continuation.

    Hammer Envy Tour

The Hammer Envy Tour is so smooth and strong it has quickly become a staple in the bag. I was/am a big fan of the Obsession Tour and this is a very similar ball shape with just more of it. The Envy Tour picks up sooner but continues its drive down lane. I've adjusted the surface for a couple of patterns and it goes back and forth well. It will have some shine on it tonight for league & get nice and scuffed for Earl Anthony pattern this weekend. This is a must have piece.

    Speechless

This ball is sooo versatile. I immediately took the 1K cover to 4K so it wouldn't be so early and the envy tour went straight to a starter in my bag.

    Envy Tour

If you liked the Obsession Tour you are going to love the Envy Tour!!! This ball is very predictable and doesn’t quit when it gets to the pins. One of things that I didn’t like the Obsession Tour is it would tend to wiggle down lane and eventually I would start leaving flat 10’s. The Envy Tour allows me to move in and still get the ball to continue through the pins. I’m very impressed so far with it and can see me using this on a variety of patterns.

    Love the shape

Posted by Rick M on Mar 7th 2023

I really liked the shape this ball gives me. Because of the lower diff this ball does not seem to burn up like other strong balls. This will be my heavy oil long pattern ball that I should be able to stay in for more than a game of two.

    New Hammer Envy Tour

Posted by Brent Watson on Mar 5th 2023

The Envy Tour is a great complimant to the very successful Obsession tour. The new Envy tour is a little earlier and smoother than the obsession tour. I can not say enough about how controllable and smooth this ball is. Being smooth the Envy Tour does not lose any hitting power through the pins. With the lower diff, this new envy just rolls the entire lane. Also you know what they say about black color bowling balls...they all strike. The Envy tour is also very versatile as well. I drilled mine at 50 x 4 x 25. I went with this drilling for the USBC nationals, but it also rolls very well on house and other sport patterns. If you want very controllable benchmark ball that is very versatile on multiple lane conditions the new Hammer Envy Tour is the ball.

    Hammer Envy Tour Solid Review

Posted by James G. on Mar 3rd 2023

Hammer Envy Tour Solid Review Stats: LH: Speed – 17.0; RPM – 350; AT – 19; AR – 55 Layout: 45 x 5” x 40 Hammer’s newest Top Shelf launch, the Envy Tour Solid, is a newly engineered version of the popular Obsession Tour Solid featuring several improvements that should surely get lots of attention. The Envy Tour was developed to add a stronger and more responsive cover to the Obsession Tour core, creating that same unique shape, just more of it. I chose the layout I did to get the ball to roll forward a little sooner due to my slightly higher tilt, but transition a bit slower to really utilize that longer, stronger roll phase of ball motion. I have used it on a couple of different patterns and here is my assessment: 42 ft. THS (typical house shot): The Envy Tour Solid has been a very strong ball for the house shot in two centers I frequent. What I love about this ball is that it chews through the oil, makes a defined move off the spot, but is still predictable enough to control from shot to shot. Very versatile to cover changes, I took mine from box finish, down to 1000 and back up to 3000 polished, and it responds to all of those very well. If you are seeing too much early hook, take the cover up to 4000, too much length, just sand it to 1000 or even 500, it takes to those changes extremely well! Do not be afraid to adjust the surface to your game, this ball can handle it! 36 ft. Viper pattern: I roll on this pattern every Tuesday, and the Envy Tour Solid was the best ball in my bag on the fresh, alongside the Purple Pearl Urethane. Projection and speed control are key, and the Envy Tour at 3000 was the perfect matchup. It rolled forward perfectly and hit heavy through the pins, carrying the off pocket hits extremely well. As the night progressed, I was able to move slightly further inside, roll the ball firm off my hand, and it saw the friction consistently, making my moves easier and more trustworthy, resulting in higher scores and more confidence in the ball. If you are looking for that “benchmark” ball reaction from a high end asymmetric, chews through the oil like the bigger solids but with a strong, continuous finish, look no further than the Hammer Envy Tour Solid. Available now from Bowler Builders Pro Shops, and at pro shops everywhere! Nothing hits like a Hammer!

    Bench mark

Posted by Bill Richardson on Feb 26th 2023

With a .034 diff this ball for me is defintetly a control ball. Drilled 50x4x50 it rolls great and wow does it hit hard. The stronger cover on the Envy tour is very impressive and really responds to friction well. I cant wait to get this one out of the bag at some tournaments coming up.
