The MOTIV® engineering team has been making clear advancements, leading the industry in pearl cover tech recently, and this new Propulsion™ system is the pinnacle of angular performance. Utilizing this new pearl cover, the Pride™ Empire pushes through the front of the lane with ease, storing energy for a dynamic move down lane. And that’s at a 5000 Grit laser-scanned finish! Bowlers who desire maximum length and a violent response to friction can adjust the finish to a higher grit like 5500, but they may get more than they bargained for. We kept it at 5000 to tame this beast a touch.

The Dominion™ asymmetrical core at the heart of the Pride™ Empire also displays special characteristics. A moderate primary RG differential and low intermediate allow the ball to dominate on lower oil volumes and higher friction surfaces than more powerful asymmetric balls like the Jackals, which are designed for higher volume patterns. Additionally, the asymmetric physics of the Pride™ Empire provides ball drillers with greater layout versatility since weight holes are no longer allowed in competition.

Speed Dominant Bowlers

For speed dominant bowlers who love to see angular motion, the Pride Empire will fit well below the Mythic Jackal in their bag. The Mythic Jackal is a strong asymmetrical hybrid option for creating angular motion. When that ball is too strong, speed dominant bowlers should have no issue stepping into a Pride Empire and creating even more angle to the friction.

Balanced Bowlers

For balanced bowlers this is the centerpiece to their arsenal. The Pride is the first ball out of the bag and the one used most often. The controllable core and cover combination allows balanced bowlers to use the Pride on a variety of surfaces and concentrations of oil. The easily tuned Coercion UCS Cover can also be shined or scuffed to allow an even broader window for balanced bowlers to use the Pride.

Rev Dominant Bowlers

Bowlers with substantial rev rates will see use for the Pride Empire when they want to maintain control of the lane while still creating a substantial angle. This will serve as the most angular ball in the middle of a rev dominant player’s progression.

Motiv Pride Empire

I saw a buddy of mine throw this ball. It went through the heads and midlane so clean…I was hooked on getting 1 for myself. I drilled mine (45 x 5 3/4 x 65) which put the pin down. The Empire is decent on the summer league fresh condition with clean backends. I couldn’t get enough around it during the first part of transition. However, when the friction came back in the midlane and back end…I pulled it right back out and it finished like a champ. When we have the usual house pattern…it may not see the lanes until the end of the set.

The brand new Pride Empire is downright amazing. As soon as I threw this ball, I knew it was a must have. The first thing that sparked my interest about this ball was the shelf appeal, the emerald green pops as soon as you see it. The Dominion asymmetric core has proven to be a fan favorite because of the control it allows bowlers to have. The propulsion Pearl cover stock is a perfect compliment to the core as this ball truly provides control and down lane motion. The Pride Empire is the newest ball added to our amazing arsenal from Motiv bowling. The Pride Empire has the Dominion™ asymmetrical core, also featured in the original Pride. Wrapped around the Propulsion Pearl Reactive cover stock. This Pride Empire gets through the fronts extremely well, and has a sharp response to friction down lane. The versatility in this ball is incredible, you can add polish to make the ball quicker down lane response or scoff the cover up and make it an earlier piece to the bag.
