The legendary Raptor™ line has returned for worldwide release! Featuring a power-boosted Affliction™ V2 core and stronger Dynamic Infusion™ cover technology, the pearl Sky Raptoris built to attack down-lane when heavy oil patterns transition and more friction comes into play.
The new Affliction V2 core features a density upgrade, which gives the Sky Raptor higher rev potential and more track flare. Both performance aspects increase overall hook potential and provide an RG and differential that are tuned in for higher volumes of oil.
Extensive testing went into the development of the new Dynamic Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover stock for the Sky Raptor. It digs in the oil and creates the angle needed on the backend as heavy oil patterns begin to break down and transition. Utilizing a 5000 Grit LSS (Laser Scanned / Sanded) finish, the Sky Raptor has just the right amount of traction. We left polish out of the finishing process to fine tune the ball motion to match the performance target.

The Sky Raptor is the newest ball in our line and fits in the Heavy oil/angular category. An absolutely amazing release from Motiv Bowling. Bowlers will find this ball stronger in the oil with still having a fast down lane motion. With that combination it gives you the ability to use the Sky Raptor for longer spurts of time. The Sky Raptor is by far the Fastest Heavy oil piece Motiv has produced. The Sky Raptor has the new Affliction V2 core. The Affliction V2 core gives a higher hook potential and provides an RG and differential that’s better suited for higher volumes of oil. The Sky Raptor has a new Dynamic Infusion pearl reactive technology, the Sky Raptor is designed to create downlane motion in heavy oil. The Sky Raptor clears the fronts easily, with a fast down lane motion.

The brand new Motiv Sky Raptor is potentially the best heavy oil Pearl ball I’ve ever thrown. As someone who threw the Raptor series when it was originally around, I was super excited for the Sky Raptor. The brand new Dynamic Infusion Pearl cover stock paired with the Affliction V2 core is an outstanding combination for heavier/longer oil patterns. I have noticed that this ball creates enough angle on fresh oil that as soon as more friction develops, you can absolutely open up the lane with this ball and watch is snap back. The new Sky Raptor brings a throwback line of the Raptor series into this new release! The Affliction V2 core and new Dynamic Infusion pearl reactive technology makes the piece a monster in the oil with STRONG down lane motion - Filling one of the heavy oil boxes on the ball chart this pearlized piece can provide length and still rev up in the oil. For me now as a senior player having something this strong is a huge bonus on longer patterns where I need to stay in and still create the angles I need to STRIKE!
