    Katana Legend

Posted by Robert Way on Jan 30th 2019

    Katana Legend,
I’m a left handed bowler. My ball speed is around 14.5 mph. My Rev Rate is around 275-300 rpms. I recently purchased this ball. I can say this ball is clean through the fronts. And has plenty of pop on the back.
The layout I’m using in this ball is called all purpose layout for asymmetrical Radical balls. 45 x 4 1/4 x 35. I think this is a great addition to the Radical top shelf line.

    Strong Downlane Motion

Posted by Robert Raulerson on Jan 10th 2019

The new Katana Legend is a great addition to the Katana line. Similar shape to the original Katana but able to handle higher volume of oil. This ball really jumps off the friction and continues through the pins amazingly. Add some surface and the ball really comes to life. Overall its a great ball that you'll want in your bag to really open up the lanes.

    Katana Legend, The Monster!

Posted by James Bryant on Jan 9th 2019

    My Personal Reflection:
The OG Katana is cleaner and has a sharper motion off of the pattern. The Katana Slash has a smoother motion but still has enough back end to cut through the carry down.

The Katana Legend takes the Katana series to an entirely different level! The Legend reminds me how the Katana Dragon reads the mid lane however it is a bit smoother vs the Dragon. The Legend's motion off the pattern reminds me of the Conspiracy with the amount of continuation off the pattern the ball has.

You could say that the Legend is a combination of the bests features of the Dragon and Conspiracy!!!

    All Purpose Katana

Posted by Bryan Bannach on Jan 8th 2019

The Katana Legend might replace the Slash as my favorite Katana to date. The strength and versatility of the Legend is something to behold. I used a 45x4.25x35 “All Purpose” layout, and I think “All Purpose” is a great way to describe it. The Legend allows me to play anywhere on the lane. I can take a little hand out of it and play down the boards, I can get around it and circle the whole lane. Being a high speed player with a low tilt, I don’t usually get that versatility out of a single ball. The most amazing part about the Legend is how it doesn’t lose anything changing surface. I have used mine from out of box shine, all the way down to 1500 and the ball just keeps hooking and never quits. It truly is astonishing. If you are a league bowler and are looking for “one ball that does it all”, the Katana Legend may be just what you are looking for.
