Additional product information:

The Honey Badger Intensity will build upon the success of the Honey Badger Revival™ by giving the player that famous Honey Badger™ shape on heavier oil conditions.

The S70 Solid Cover, finished at 4000 Grit Abralon, will provide more traction in the oil versus the polished hybrid cover found on the Honey Badger Revival. The Honey Badger Intensity will provide a dynamic skid/flip shape on the heavier patterns. This cover has been purposely engineered to give you a different look on heavy oil.

The Grapnel 2.0 Core Quickly became known as a piece that will lope through the front part of the lane with very little effort and change direction sharply. Most heavy oil balls feature lower RG’s to promote early revolutions off the player’s hand. Not no with the Grapnel 2.0. This, combined with the cover, will promote a truly unique shape on the fresh patterns.

    900 Global Honey Badger Intensity

Posted by Michael LeViner on May 16th 2021

Layout: 60 x 4 ¾ x 40 The motion similarity between the Honey Badger Intensity and the preceding Honey Badger Revival is uncanny – a controllable mid lane and back end reaction, with the only difference being the Revival is at home on medium lane conditions, and the Intensity feasts upon medium-heavy conditions. It is still fairly easy through the front of the lane, but digs in with authority in the midlane. I would not put it on the traction level of the Reality or Proton Physix; I think it rests just below the Incite. That places it in a great position where it could be the strongest ball in most league bowler's bag.

Global Honey Badger Intensity Ball Specs: Cover stock S70 Solid Reactive Grapnel 2.0 Core (Asymmetrical) Color Pink / Blue Navy Finish 4000 Sanded Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5” Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at cameras 15.5 Review: These new Global balls have really impressed me. I have liked every Global Ball I have rolled so far. The Intensity is no exception. The H.B Intensity does not hook as much as I expected but gives a nice roll through the front of the lane with a predictable move on the back end. I would consider it a medium –medium plus oil ball. The intensity fits under my Reality in hook and it is easy to ball down to it when the Reality is reading too early. I don’t feel the Mass Bias is too strong in this ball. It reminds me of the Rubicon balls in the Roto line as far as the Mass Bias letting the ball go a bit further down the lane. I did not drill my Intensity too strong but I have loaded them up for some customers moving the M.B close to the VAL and the ball still gets down the lane and doesn’t burn up. Once you line up with the Intensity you can stay with it a long time. This ball takes full advantage of any pattern with a shim also. I have had my best luck going up the boards just right of the heavier oil shim line. The Intensity does a good job of balancing power and control. Summary: The Honey Badger Intensity balances power and control. The Ball reads the patterns very well. This is a very good all-around ball. Glenn Wendel PBA Member Storm Pro Shop Staff Video link:

    HB Intensity

Posted by Nate Garcia on May 6th 2021

Can you say MASSIVE ANGLE?! 900 Global introduces the newest addition to the badger line, the Honey Badger Intensity. A solid, asymmetrical honey badger that doesn’t have a problem turning the corner. I was really surprised by how much this ball hooked out of the box. For me, the new Honey Badger fits right under the Reality. When the Reality becomes a little slow off the spot and starts to lose it’s energy and you still need that stronger piece for heavy volume or longer patterns, the Intensity is the ball to go to. This ball has no problem clearing the front part of the lane and the midlane; but you really see this ball make a turn at the end of the pattern. If you’re looking for maximum angle in a strong asymmetrical ball, look no further, this is the ball for you. Go get yours at your local storm VIP Pro shop.

    HB Intensity

Posted by Casey Mattingly on Apr 28th 2021

The Honey Badger Intensity is the newest to the HB family. This ball uses the S70 Solid cover wrapped around the Grapnel 2.0 core. I use my standard layout for this one: 50x5x30 or 5x4x2. My biggest take aways is that its not as strong as I originally thought that it was going to be. Which isn’t a bad thing. It definitely doesn’t roll like a bigger Asym., as a matter of fact it rolls more like a stronger symmetrical ball. You can be deeper with this one and use bigger angles on the lane because it doesn’t lock up and go forward like some of the bigger Asyms. like to do. The ball actually has a similar motion to the RST-X1, but it revs much easier. Its a good medium piece that is seeing a lot of action here! Other balls in heavy rotation: Zen- 50x5x30 (pin up) Zen- 50x4.25x65 (pin down at 2,000) Rubicon UC2- 40x5x30 (pin up at 3,000)

HB Intensity by Roto Grip Rick

900 Global Honey Badger Intensity - S70 hybrid coverstock with the Grapnel 2.0 Core - 4000ab grit factory finish layout - 70 x 1 1/2 x 60 The Honey Badger Intensity really has dug it's claws into me, (see what I did there)! Finally got to the one of the newest legendary bowling ball cores. The Grapnel 2.0 core proves once again to add length and great traction down lane that the Honey Badger line has produced in the past. With now adding the S70 hybrid cover stock onto this core has given the HB Intensity a totally different look that the HB line in the past did not have. I noticed with this ball the motion is similar to a Roto Grip Idol solid with a similar layout, the Intensity went a tick longer off of the pattern with just a slightly stronger angle entering pocket. Great ball for any condition and any type of bowler. this ball is INTENSEity... Honey Badger Intensity Review by Kyle & Joel Johnson

Ball Specs: 900 Global Honey Badger Intensity Cover: 4000 S70™ Solid Reactive Core: Grapnel 2.0™ Core (Asymmetrical) Color: Pink/Navy Blue Review: The Honey Badger Intensity really lives up to the popularity of the Honey Badger Line. Looking like a baby 900 Global Reality, the HB Intensity is a great ball down choice after starting a block with a strong solid before moving to a hybrid or pearl cover. This ball is very smooth and packs a lot of hook potential if you are a HB line lover. Compared to my HB Revival, the Intensity is stronger and a hooks a little sooner. This ball will fit well between my Proton Physix/Reality and my other HB line pieces. Kyle & Joel Johnson 900 Global Pro Shop Staffers #GoGlobal

    So good!

Honey Badger Intensity The Honey Badger Intensity features the solid S70 cover and the Grapnel 2.0 Asymmetric Core. I drilled mine 45x4x30 and I can see why the HB line has been so popular over the years. The HB Intensity rolls great, it’s a heavy-rolling, medium-response asymmetric ball. I see the Honey Badger Intensity being a benchmark ball for many, if you are a high rev or low ball speed bowler this ball may hold a more aggressive spot in your bag.

    HB Intensity Ball Review

Cover: S70 Solid 4000 Abralon Finish Core: Aeroflo RG: 2.54 Dif:0.048 PSA: 0.012 PAP: 5 ¾” x 1” UP Style: Stroker, more Speed Dominate What can I say but WOW! This ball is strong I was surprised how much this ball hooked the first time I through in on a fresh 42-foot house shot. I drilled this with my normal layout 55 x 4 x 30 (4 x 5 ½ x 1 close to those numbers) which puts the pin kicked out t to the right of my ring finger and the PSA about 1-2 inches away from my thumb. I really like how smooth this ball is and it is a bit earlier than I expected, it picks up down lane and has good continuation through the pins. This ball forced me to move at least 6-7 boards in from my normal starting position. I was standing on 25 to get the ball to come into the pocket. I have since brought the surface down to 2000 due to my ball speed. This compared to the Reality is for me almost as strong bit s little earlier yet still has the same ball smooth ball motion. The HB is a keeper for me for sure. There have been a couple of times in the past week where the conditions were as such that I wished I had the HD with me. If your looking for a strong smooth controllable ball, the HB Intensity is definitely a ball to considered on them little longer fresher oil patterns. A great addition to the Honey Badger lineup.

900 Global Honey Badger Intensity by Casey Murphy

Orientation: Right Handed Rev Rate: 400 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH PAP: 4 ½ over and ½ up Location: Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO Pattern: High Volume THS VLS Layout: 5 x 4 x 2 1/2 Dual Angle Layout: 50 x 5 x 40 I loved the Honey Badger Revival, but it was too clean at times. The Honey Badger Intensity is the solid version of the Revival and solves that problem. It’s early enough to use on the fresh and a little more oil and gives that same great HB Revival shape on the back. If you wanted an early version of the HB Revival, the HB Intensity is it!
