Additional product information:

Brunswick is excited to add the Knock Out Bruiser to the proven Knock Out line. The Knock Out has become one of Brunswick’s most reliable products, providing easy length and a strong move on the backend for a ball with a solid coverstock and surface. The new Knock Out Bruiser uses the updated Savvy Hook 4.0 Solid coverstock for plenty of hook and more change of direction at the breakpoint than bowlers expect from a ball like this. The Knock Out has been a go-to on medium to heavier conditions for any style of player and has been a great one-two combination with the Melee Jab series since they share the same proven Melee core.

    Bruising Pins

Posted by Robert Mockenhaupt on Mar 22nd 2023

The Knockout Bruiser with the Savy Hook 4.0 cover reads the lane very well and provides great continuation handling a moderate volume of oil. If you loved the previous Knockouts, you will love this one as well. I drilled this with the pin up over the ring finger which was 4.5 inches from my PAP. This ball has super responsive in the backend and charges the pocket nicely. I see this handling more on the medium to medium-heavy oil patterns. Comparatively this ball is a touch stronger that its predecessors. Be sure to check out the Brunswick Bowling website for more information.

    Advanced Benchmark Performance!

    Posted by cng260 on Mar 3rd 2023

The Knockout Bruiser is the successor to the original black Knock Out. This one has the same continuous reaction shape with more overall hook and more boards covered. I find that this ball works best on fresher medium patterns when a smoother reaction shape is needed. This one seems to take surface adjustments well and could very well be a stronger benchmark type ball for many different styles of bowler. This one has already been getting use when the League pattern is playing tighter than usual to start and should get plenty more user in the future. This Knockout is truly advanced benchmark performance.

    Very strong

Posted by Bill Richardson on Feb 26th 2023

Drilled 60x4.25x20 I was very impressed with how strong this ball is. The response to friction was very fast but never a over reaction for me. Throwing at box surface on wood lanes on a house shot, I made 4 moves left (at least 10 boards) and the pin carry did not suffer at all. Over all I will say this ball will stay in the bag for a while.

    Knock Out Bruiser

I drilled my Knock Out Bruiser with a 4 x 30, pin up layout, which is the same as my Knock Out and Melee Jab. For me, the Bruiser is the strongest of the three. In comparison, it’s earlier and more overall hook than the Knock Out. I can use this ball as a game 1 ball, where the Melee Jab was more of a game 2-3 ball. I think this ball would be a good benchmark type ball in everyone’s bag.

    Knock Out

Simply put a beefed up Melee Jab. They share the same core but the bruiser is updated with the savvy hook 4.0 solid cover for plenty of hook and more change of direction then you might expect at the break point. For me I have it slightly stronger the original black Knock Out with a little more shape

    great ball

Posted by Ian L on Feb 6th 2023

The Knockout line is one of my favorites of all time. The Melee core combined with a stronger cover makes the Knockouts and Jabs a great 1-2 punch. The Bruiser for me is extremely smooth and controllable. As a high rev player, having a bowling ball that is predictable and comes off the spot with control is very important. Comparing this ball to the black and blue, I would say the Bruiser is about 3-4 more overall but a touch smoother downlane motion. Once I notice the Bruiser get a little lazy down lane, I can go right to my Carbon Jab while making a small move with my feet inside.

    Another Knockout Punch!!

Anything with melee core has been $$$. Another knock out with a stronger cover gives you same shape as the other 2, but much earlier response.

    Knockout Bruiser

Posted by Tom Marlow on Jan 9th 2023

This ball is another knockout from Brunswick. It has the dependable Melee core wrapped around the SH 4.0 cover with Dynami core. Put that together and you get a very strong solid. I drilled mine 50x4.5x40. And I got a really strong rolling ball that doesn’t quit on the backend. Compared to the OG knockout it’s going to roll and little sooner and stronger on the back.
