Additional product information:

The Ebonite Polaris Hybrid has been designed to create a cleaner and more angular ball motion compared to the original Polaris. The original Polaris excelled on heavier conditions, and the new Polaris Hybrid uses less surface and GSV-3, a cleaner cover to produce less hook in oil, and a stronger backend. The innovative Polaris core with a radial disc on the bottom of the ball helps maintain flare potential after drilling. This core feature and the cleaner and more responsive cover will give the Polaris Hybrid the edge on medium to heavier conditions.

    Polaris Hybrid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find the Polaris Hybrid to be much better than the original Polaris. One big problem I had with the original was that it didn't want to hook for me. Polaris Hybrid has no problem making that nice gradual motion down lane as it should for a high end bowling ball. Overall this ball is a little less down lane and overall compared to my Brunswick Defender but that is a good thing as it is the perfect step down from the Defender. This ball is for sure a mainstay in my arsenal for awhile

    Something Special in this One

Not sure if it’s the 2piece Asym Core but not sure if I have ever seen a ball roll so continues with power. Pins stay low and carry is stellar. Drilled mine 60x4.5x35. Below are recent release this reminds me of: Brunswick Quantum Evo solid with more finish. C300 Speed with earlier motion DV8 Vandal on steroids Ebonite N/A Hammer weak BW Ghost Track stronger proof.

    Polarize the Pocket

The Ebonite Polaris Hybrid is here. The same core design with a radial disc on the bottom of the ball to create extra motion. This ball has excellent pick up much like the solid version in the mid-lane due to the core and cover combo. The GSV-3 hybrid aggressive cover reads the mid lanes quite well. If you need a ball with that heavy roll and added length, this will be the go to ball. I love how hard it changes direction in the backend and explodes the rack. My layout is 65 x 4.75 x 35. Be sure to check out the Ebonite website for more information.

    Polaris Hybrid, It's GOOD!

The Polaris Hybrid is Ebonite's latest release in their Pro Performance line up. I was a fan of the original Polaris, but I am a bigger fan of the hybrid version. Ebonite described this beauty as cleaner and more angular ball motion than the original. Yes, it is. After a few games and with my ball speed, I adjusted the surface down to 2000 and got much more out of the ball. It picks up a little sooner and has a much stronger motion at the end of the pattern. Don't sleep on this one! It's a keeper.
