Additional product information:

The Bonus adds a new motion to the Radical Reliable price point. The Bonus uses a newly developed core with a lower differential .030 and a low RG of 2.48. We are for the first time using our Forged cover (this is the cover we used in the Katana line) at a price point other than Top Shelf. The addition of the Forged cover and the lower differential core design creates a ball motion that is easy to control yet offers plenty of down lane motion and continuation. The Bonus ball motion is stronger than the Intel yet more controllable than the other Reliable price point balls in the Radical line up. As with all our Reliable and Top Shelf price points, we use the hard-hitting popular DynamiCore.

    Radical Bonus

Posted by Manny Castillo on Dec 11th 2020

The Radical Bonus is my benchmark ball. It’s my first ball out of the bag because of its lower RG and low differential while pairing it with its solid combo. I’m able to use it on several patterns. The ball is extremely smooth but DOES not lose any hitting power. The cover is very versatile and takes surface adjustments well. Put your favorite layout on this ball and you’ll see this ball becoming your benchmark ball like it has for me.

    80 x 4 1/8 x 55 – PAP 4 ½ -> and ½^ - Speed – 15mph – Rev Rate 380

This ball must be in your bag wherever you are going to bowl. Our house did not have enough oil for this ball because it always over hooked for me. I was moving left but I did not see the point of hooking the whole lane, right away in game 1. I took it to 2 tournaments and shot 700 both times with this ball. Those houses I bowled in had more oil in the middle and outsides. This is always the first ball out of my bag at tournaments because it gives me a great read of what the lanes are doing and what ball I should switch to if the Bonus is not reacting how I like it to.

    A great option for control

Posted by Jeffrey Poholsky on Nov 25th 2020

The Radical Bonus is a bit of an old-school ball for me. With it's low differential and symmetric core, I can go very straight and keep my angles closed (which I like to do). The cover has enough teeth that it continues through the pins very nicely. This ball will work well on tough sport patterns, especially lower volume or shorter length. But, it's also terrific on house patterns to reduce over/under reactions when missing outside of target. Good benchmark balls are sometimes hard to find, this is one that every competitive bowler needs to have. Mine is drilled pin below ring finger and it easily gets into a roll and is very clean for a solid. Bowlers with a lot of hand will love the controllability of the ball. This is a unique piece in today's bowling ball world and absolutely worth trying! Jeff Poholsky Brunswick Regional Staff

A Must Have In Your Bag

Posted by Jim Milliman on Nov 6th 2020

I threw this ball for the 1st time two nights ago in league, and it has earned a spot in my ball lineup for sure. This symmetrical ball had no problem reacting to the friction while maintaining a very controllable arc down lane and power through the pins. Another impressive attribute of this ball was that it never overreacted when I got it into the dry early. This is a must have ball in any league or tournament arsenal.

    Radical Bonus: Intel on steroids!

Posted by JAMES GOULDING on Oct 29th 2020

I drilled the Radical Bonus to be my benchmark symmetric replacement for the Intel, and this ball really impresses me! My Bonus is about 2-3 boards stronger than the Intel, and 1-2 extra feet of length at box. I am a left handed bowler, 340 rpm, 16.5 mph, 18 AT, 55 AR, so I wanted my benchmark symmetric to be able to be used across multiple oil patterns and give me a "true read" to what I am seeing, and the Bonus fits perfectly. I drilled it with one of my favorite layouts, 4.5" x 30, so it will go through the fronts, pickup the mid-lane, and transition quickly. The Bonus, which features DynamiCore for more hitting power and longevity, has been my go to ball on Earl Anthony 43', Wolf 32', and two different THS. It is VERY versatile and takes to cover changes extremely well. If you can only buy ONE ball this season, I would recommend the Radical Bonus, it really is that good. You can order the Bonus now from Moore's Pro Shop and pro shops everywhere. Thank you. - James Goulding III

    Love the Bonu$

Posted by Richard Oakes Jr on Oct 22nd 2020

The Bonu$ is a perfect benchmark ball. It's very controllable but strong at the same time. Radical has done it again! If you liked the Intel you will love the brand new Bonu$! Comparing it to the Intel I have the bonus around 4 boards stronger with the same type of motion. For me it's a stronger Intel which I love. A great 1-2 punch. The Versatility of this ball is hands down what bowlers look for. You can play straight or move in with it. I would say it's for mid to lighter oil conditions out of the box or add more surface for more oil. It's control in a box and strikes a lot!!!

    Bonu$ is Money !!

Posted by C. Miller on Oct 3rd 2020

The Bonu$ by Radical is a benchmark type ball that is a must have. It's very controllable, has that down lane motion that I like to see, and great continuation. The Bonu$ would be great for league play, shorter oil patterns, and when you encounter the wet/dry. Help yourself out by purchasing the Bonu$ at your local pro shop.

    Benchmark ball

Posted by Tim M on Sep 24th 2020

Drilled my Bonus with a 50,4”, 35 layout. Which got through the fronts much cleaner than expected and gave me a really predictable but strong ball reaction. The ball is very similar to my Radical Intel, but seemed a little harder off the friction.
