A Great Compliment to the DGV

I liked the original DGV and naturally, I was excited to see this ball released with a pearl coverstock. Not having much luck or success with pearl covers, I was curious to see how much I was going to like this ball. My answer – it’s always in my bag. This ball has the same shape as the original Damn Good Verge but gives me a few extra feet to get down the lane before making its turn. For me, this ball is very predictable and is a great ball for me to go to when the lanes start to transition and I don’t want to move my feet. The ball can be a bit angular on the fresh but as the lanes transition, it calms down and helps me manage the pocket.

    Damn Good Ball

This New DV8 Damn Good Verge Pearl Is A Great Compliment To The Original DV8 Damn Good Verge... As In The Damn Good Verge The Pearl Is Just As Amazing Because As In The Original It Goes Long Down Lane And Really Drives Through The Pins. With The Addition Of The Damn Good Verge Pearl You Can Stay Longer To The Right With This Ball And It Will Still Drive Through The Pins As The Solid Bowling Ball Did... As Lanes Transition You Can Move Farther Left And Still Play Inside And Get The Same Length And Drive Through The Pins. With The Same Color Scheme As The Original And A Great Pearl Bowling Ball This Is A Very Versatile Bowling Ball For Any Rev Rate Or Ball Speed.. For Shorter Or Lighter Volume Patterns You Can Definitely Play Straight Up The Boards To Start And Move Left And Still Keep The Bowling Ball In Play. Very Versatile Ball From Multiple Angles To The Pocket. This Ball Is Great For League And Tournament Bowlers. Make Sure To Visit Your Local Pro Shop

    Awesome Ball

DGV Pearl for me gave me more motion down lane compared to the solid. With the Dynamicore it makes this ball really hit. Drilled mine up 50x5 1/4x 20 left the surface 500x100,1500/factory Polish.

    Damn Good Pearl

The DGV Pearl is a ball everyone should consider having in their bag. This ball I find to be versatile on a number of shots. House pattern, late in the block, or when the lanes are burnt, this is a ball for the job. It's cleaner than the solid version with more pop down lane. When the solid appears lazy , pull out the DGV Pearl and keep on striking.

    Versatile

The Damn good Verge Pearl is just that! DAMN GOOD. For me this one gets down lane longer and turns harder than the previous Verge balls. Super smooth and comes of the patterns great! I use this bad boy for both house shots and longer sport shots. This is a must have for all levels!

Excellent piece to the DV8 line!

The lower differential of the Damn Good Verge Pearl makes it (in my opinion) a more versatile piece than its original counter part. Where some people saw the Damn Good Verge be a little too early and slow off of the spot. It’s pearl version picks up a little later and retains energy to kick those pins around in Damn Good Fashion. Excellent all from the DV8 line

Just when you thought it couldn’t get better!

The DG Verge Pearl is the newest ball from DV8, and the name says it all! Like its predecessor the DG Verge Solid, the DG Verge Pearl is just as incredible! This is a ball that is very dynamic on lanes with strong back ends and is incredibly versatile from many angles and many different layouts. This is another benchmark ball from DV8 that bowlers at all levels have been waiting for. The DG Verge Pearl is very smooth and consistent with incredible mid-lane roll. The DG Verge Pearl gives bowlers more continuous movement through the backend…much more in comparison to its predecessor, the DG Verge Solid. This ball is really just that good and I highly encourage any bowler looking for a ball that will not disappoint you. Make a leap and try the new DG Verge Pearl. Remember…if you are not throwing DV8, you’re just not bowling!!! #brunswickbowling #DV8bowling

    Damn good ball

After drilling my Damn good Verge I could not wait to drill up the Damn Good Verge Pearl. I drilled mine 60 x 4 ½ x 35 and was hoping for that smooth motion with a little “pop” at the end. What a got I did not expect, this ball picks up the mids, hits like a Hammer AND gives me the ability to move in and open up my angles. With lower ball speeds this is an absolute plus for me and a great addition to my arsenal. I believe that even as good as the solid was, this ball is even better!

    DGV Pearl is a must

The damn good verge pearl is an excellent pearl complement to the original damn good verge. When the DGV solid starts hooking to early and not quite finishing on the back end to get the tent out switch to the pearl, the DGV Pearl will be a little more cleaner through the front saving energy on the backend taking out that 10 pin. The DGV Pearl will not be the strongest Pearl in your bag. It will be the ball you need when the lanes are broke down with the front of the lane gone. This is a must have for both tournaments and leagues.
