Most Angular Ball in the Line
By: Jeffrey Poholsky on February 28, 2018

Welcome to the Tenacity! This ball has amazing back end movement and shape, regardless of ball speed and/or rev rate. Mine is drilled 55x5x65 and it is a difference maker for me. Because it's so clean in the front part of the lane, I can open up my angles easier and still see enough energy stored on the back combined with the angular motion to drive through the pins properly. If you're used to a Brunswick ball motion from recent releases, you are in for a surprise with this ball, it makes it's downlane motion dramatically and continues. Definitely a shape that any serious bowler needs in their arsenal. Jeff Poholsky

What a ball!

He is the new addition to the hi performance series, the Tenacity. The Tenacity uses a brand new core, the Tenacity low RG. The core is wrapped up with the new cover UR for ultra responsive. This ball also uses the dynamicor to create more hitting power in the pins almost like the Quantum. The colors on the ball are nice and bright compared to the old color pattern used before. I drilled my Tenacity 55x4x70 with the pin under the ring finger and no weight hole. I don’t use that drilling pattern really often but I wanted to have something strong and continuous. On the lane, the Tenacity surprised me a lot. Because of the low RG core, the ball rolls really heavy on the midlane but because of the pearl cover, it doesn’t burn up and clear the heads. This ball is the most hooking pearl ball I get in my bag. Compared to the DV8 Pitbull Bite, I play the Tenacity 3 and 2 right. Because of the pearl cover, the ball is cleaner through the front but you get the same king of heavy roll in the midlane. Compared to the DV8 Creed revelation, I play the Tenacity 2 and 1 left and the ball rolls much heavier in the midlane. For people with more speed, the cover stock is really flexible. You can scuff the ball with a 1500 Siaar pad to get and earlier roll while keeping an heavy midlane roll. To conclude, if you wanna have a strong and heavy rolling pearl ball, the Tenacity is your choice.

Big Backend!

This ball has the strongest backend reaction of any Brunswick ball I have ever thrown by far. This ball is about an arrow stronger than my Inferno and has a much more violent change of direction. The Tenacity is 3 and 1 stronger than the True Nirvana with more length and more continuation. This ball would go 4th arrow to the gutter on the house shot with plenty of energy left. Tenacity is the perfect name for this ball. It is super fun to throw and creates plenty of entry angle.

Brunswick Tenacity

The Brunswick Tenacity is the definition of skip flip; gone are the days of old when everyone believed Brunswick balls were what you use when you wanted something to rev up quick and roll early. This image of roll early has been invalid for a few years now, especially with the introduction of composite coverstocks and the new core shapes Brunswick is able to produce. The Tenacity features the new Ultra Responsive Composite coverstock producing better length and response to friction than the brands many shoppers default to when they want a skid flip reaction. Additionally, the Tenacity Low Rg core with 0.052 differential and 0.018 asymmetric differential produces the appropriate balance between flare, the rate in which the core revs up and the aggression off the "spot" when the ball makes it's left or right turn down lane. Fortunately when you purchase a Brunswick product there is more thought put into the process than just coverstock and weight block. Brunswick has developed a new outer core material that increases the Coefficient of Restitution (the ratio of the final to initial velocity between two objects after they collide) by 12% in relation to the past available three piece outer core materials. Higher CoR equates to more pin energy and increased strike percentages. Take a moment to speak to your local Brunswick staff player, Product Specialist or Pro Shop Operator (educated in Brunswick technology); you won't be disappointed with the Brunswick Tenacity.

LANE CONDITION Length: 47 ft, 44 ft, 39ft Volume: High Volume Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): Sport patterns and THS COMMENTS Likes: I drilled my Tenacity with the pin below the middle finger and cg kicked about 1/2 inch right with no x hole. Kept the ball at OOB surface for every pattern. This ball really shined THS and 39ft pattern. With this layout the ball revs up in the mid lane and takes off once it hits the dry. On the longer patterns the Tenacity would need a surface change to be able to use in the beginning. Once the lanes break down though this would be a great ball to use as it will clear the heads and make a move off of the dry.

This is a MUST have in your arsenal whether you're a league or tournament player. This ball is very clean through the front part of the lane, with the quickest response to friction that we have seen from a Brunswick ball today. But, it is designed for today's lane conditions. It has much more power, length & tremendous impact with the new dynamicore technology.

Tenacity lives up to it's name!

I've had my this ball for a little while and it's already landed a guaranteed place in my main arsenal for every condition. I can use it on any pattern as my go-to during the transition when the lanes get tricky for me. This ball gets through the front part of the lane nicely and reads the midlane smooth so regardless what's going on with the changes in pattern I can still use it and stay lined up. And OMG the way this ball drives/slices/explodes through the pin deck is amazing! I have never seen a ball this continuous and I have thrown many, many bowling balls! Everytime I pull this ball out someone is guaranteed to asking me what I'm throwing because the ball just looks SO GOOD!

The best keeps getting better

I am not a ProShop owner but have been throwing nothing but Brunswick products since 1989, I am 67 years old and am in my 56th year of sanctioned bowling I have ball speed of 14 mph and axis tilt of 16 deg and rev rate of 245 and tend to favor pearl bowling balls. When Brunswick introduced The Tenacity I immediately ordered one and almost every ball I drill is a pin up asym ball, but this one I decided to drill pin down using a dual layout of 45x 3 3/4 x 70 and this ball delivers in a big way. I did add some polish to it just to compensate for the house that I bowl in but this ball is a can't loose must have bowling ball. I opened with saying I am not a Pro Shop owner but have now sold 8 of these bowling balls for my local pro shop. This ball reacts, hits and carries unlike anything else I have thrown. Brunswick in my opinion has a clear cut advantage on the market with this Dynamicore and the cover My suggestion if you don't have one, then you need one I was very successful in business and now retired, but I had a saying, If you do what you have always done, then you will get what you have always got, that is why you need The Brunswick Tenacity !!!!!!!

Brunswick Tenacity... my MOST favorite Brunswick ball to date!
By: Dwayne A Jenkins on February 05, 2018

The Brunswick Tenacity produces so much power, so much explosion through the pin deck, so much pin carry, it had to be seen in slow motion (in a video I recorded) to believe that an arsenal this great can only come from Brunswick Bowling brand of coverstock and core technology. Did I mention how much of a fan I am of the Brunswick Tenacity? I am a BIG fan of the Brunswick Tenacity and it is my MOST favorite Brunswick ball to date and is the most unique best production Brunswick has EVER made to date! My Layout: 65 x 2.625 x 35 (P3 X-Hole) // PAP: 5 1/2 x 3/4 Up

Guts & Determination
By: Matthew Bollhalter on January 30, 2018

Brunswick introduced the Tenacity to the "Pro Performance" line. The biggest, sharpest and the hardest hitting pearl Brunswick's ever produced. This ball gets through the grit, the grim and the nastiest lane conditions. With a new Low RG core wrapped in a brand new cover called UR (Ultra Responsive) the Tenacity makes a big change of direction when it encounters friction while getting through the front part of the lane. It's a great step down from the Kingpin for solid 1-2 punch. The UR takes surface adjustment very well without sacrificing that big motion off the pattern. At 2000 grit I saw the Tenacity slow down in the middle of lane before it make its move at the end of the pattern. The Tenacity is a great step down from the Kingpin. The Brunswick Tenacity Has True Grit!
By: Bill Baker on January 12, 2018

The Brunswick Tenacity is the perfect complement to their recent releases. I drilled it 60 X 4.5 X 30 with the OOB surface. The UR (Ultra Responsive) core gets down lane then makes a strong yet predictable/controllable move to the pocket. It has fantastic carry (thanks to the Dynamicore technology) and drive through the pin deck. When the Kingpin is digging in to much and I need more of a skid-snap reaction, the Tenacity will be my go to! Bill Baker Brunswick Advisory Staff
