Ebonite Affinity - Ebonite's newest ball has an Affinity for striking. The Affinity features a brand new higher RG core that is designed to give effortless length through the front of the lane on medium conditions with a strong downlane motion. The Gamebreaker 2 Phenom Pearl and the brand new Affinity are the perfect 1-2 punch for late in a block of games.

GB 11.2 Pearl - The GB 11.2 Pearl has been a home run on our Gamebreaker 2 Phenom Pearl. We've taken the same cover and wrapped it around a weaker, higher, RG core to give effortless length through the front of the lane on broken down patterns.

Affinity Ball Review

BALL SPECS Pin Length: 2” - 3” Starting Top Weight: 3.0 Ball Weight: 15 DRILL PATTERN Drilling #8 on the symmetrical drill instructions. This put the pin above the fingers and an extra hole was drilled on the VAL on a line from the grip center through the CG BOWLER STYLE: RH - Stroker – slightly speed dominant Rev Rate: 280 Ball Speed: 17-18 PAP/Track: PAP: 4 11/16” and 7/8" up SURFACE PREP Box Finish LANE CONDITION House COMMENTS The Affinity uses the same cover as the Gb2 Phenom Pearl, but has a higher RG and lower diff core. Easy length is no problem for the Affinity. It goes down the lane slightly longer than the Phenom Pearl, and it has a more angular change of direction with excellent hitting power. Bowlers who fight early hook would find this ball to be a good match up. I can pipe this ball up the outside and have a good time watching it destroy the pocket for all 3 games on normal league conditions. I’ve seen some high rev guys make this ball curve quite a bit. Definitely an excellent value in the mid-price range. RJ Alman Ebonite Regional/Amateur Staff

Favorite ball late in blocks!
By: Jeremy King on October 16, 2017

65 x 6 x 40 I have had the chance to throw the Affinity from Ebonite on a variety of patterns the versatility is unmatched. For me, I am able to find push late in blocks with this ball when nothing else in my bag will clear the front part of the lane. I’m able to open up the lane with ease and I could see this ball being a solid piece for high rev or slow ball speed players on the typical house pattern. This ball was definitely a piece missing in my bag, and since adding it, I’ve lead two consecutive events.
