The Trident Quest is the culmination of extensive cover stock research conducted to create a violent and angular response to friction.  Perfectly tuned for medium-heavy oil conditions, the asymmetric pearl Trident Quest is a remarkably aggressive ball.

The asymmetric Turbulent™ weight block is at the center of the Trident Quest.  While other weight blocks were tested, this Turbulent™ design proves to be the most versatile with drillings and demonstrates impressive agility at the backend of the lane.

But what really sets the new Trident Quest performance apart is new Hexion™ Reactive cover stock.  It represents the latest technology from Motiv®.  This fast response skid-flip shell slips easily through the front of the lane to deliver an incredibly violent backend snap.

The Trident Quest is tuned at the factory for medium-heavy oil with a 5000 Grit LSP finish, but the dark purple and blue pearl cover can easily be scuffed to provide traction in heavier volumes of oil.

Motiv Trident Quest Being older presents many challenges when competing on higher volume oil patterns- Yes ball speed is reduced as we get older but finding the right piece to not push past the break point on the longest of patterns is always a difficult task. I find myself migrating more and more right physically pointing the ball versus realizing the full potential of the balls power. If you are like me you need a ball that give you’re a competitive edge. The new Motiv Trident Quest is that ball. Its new Hexion cover provides that needed recovery and helps to open up my angles on even the heaviest of oil patterns. The turbulent weight block provides the needed reaction and continuation you tend to lose as the ball accelerates down the lane due to heavy oil patterns. Opening up the lanes and increasing the miss area is something the Quest allows you to do. If you need something that gives you mid lane reading with a strong back end reaction the Quest is the ball for you! The 7+ “ flare potential helps to assure your ball will be rolling over a clean surface on the ball each time down the lane thus providing much more consistent reaction. Don’t miss your chance to own one of the best medium- heavy oil balls on the market! Motiv Trident Quest is that good! Rick Zakrajsek Motiv Staff-Ohio www.Motivbowling.com

Trident Quest

Wow is the first word that comes to mind when I first threw the Trident Quest. This is a ball motion every bowler needs in their bag. The strong asymmetrical cover with the new Hexion cover is a deadly combo. The Quest is cleaner and more responsive than the original Trident. I’ve liked the Quest best on house patterns or when I need to go left to right and still have strong down lane continuous motion. Overall it fits right between my original Trident and my Jackal Ghost. As with all MOTIV balls the Quest took great to a little surface change to 3000 and smoothed it out and created more overall hook potential.

The Trident Quest is the newest ball in the Motiv Line. This is a ball reaction that has been missing in the Motiv Line for quite some time. The new Trident Quest brings the power of a high end asymmetric core with a new pearl coverstock technology called Hexion. This ball is so angular and quick off on the dry for an asymmetrical ball. Those bowlers with lower rev rates, higher speeds or just bowl on oil will absolutely love this ball when the Trident or Jackal Ghost becomes too strong. This is definitely a ball that can be used for the masses and gives that great backend shape that many bowlers are looking for. This ball handles surface changes very well also. Take off the polish and this ball can easily handle the heaviest of oils. This ball is so versatile for an asymmetric ball and should be in any Motivated bowler's bag.
