Additional product information:

For nearly 10 years, the premier choice for symmetric performance on medium to heavy oil has undoubtedly been the Phaze II. In order to create a truly worthy counterpart, we decided to keep things as simple as possible. The exact same colors in the Phaze II have been used in the Phaze II Pearl. The only difference is they are in a pearl form. The cover has also been upgraded to TX-25. Through extensive testing, it was obvious the pearl cover needed to be stronger than the solid in order to maximize performance. The Velocity Core perfectly blends an early revving motion with an assertive, yet controllable backend. The Phaze II Pearl broadens the spectrum of performance within the Master line by bridging the gap between the original Phaze II Solid and IQ Tour series.

    Storm Phaze 2 Pearl

Posted by Matt Fazzone on Dec 1st 2025

The long-awaited Storm Phaze II Pearl delivers exactly what fans of the original Phaze II were hoping for—a true companion piece that preserves the core motion while adding extra length and pop downlane. Built with the TX-25 Pearl coverstock wrapped around the iconic Velocity Core, this ball provides a familiar read with a noticeably cleaner footprint through the front part of the lane. I drilled mine 4 × 2, matching the layout on my fresh Phaze II, and the relationship between the two is immediately clear. The motion is very similar, but the Phaze II Pearl gets through the midlane with less effort and responds with a sharper, more dynamic move at the breakpoint. Where the Phaze II digs in earlier and rolls heavier, the Pearl version retains that signature control while offering a more angular finish. For bowlers who love the Phaze II—and there are many—this pairing creates an ideal 1–2 punch. Start with the benchmark Phaze II, then transition seamlessly into the Phaze II Pearl as the fronts go and you need added length and recovery without losing the shape you trust. An excellent evolution of a fan favorite, and one that will fit naturally into a wide range of arsenals.

    Phaze II Pearl

Posted by Zachary Woelfel on Nov 18th 2025

The Storm Phaze II Pearl is easily the most anticipated ball release we’ve seen in years, and you can feel that the moment you hit the lanes with it. Bowlers have been begging for a pearl version of the legendary Phaze II for almost a decade, and Storm finally delivered with the TX-25 Pearl cover wrapped around the same trusted Velocity core. What you get is that signature early-revving, stable motion the Phaze II line is famous for, but now with a cleaner look through the fronts and a sharper, more responsive move downlane that still feels incredibly controllable. Honestly, it lives up to the hype — this ball gives me the same confidence I’ve relied on from the solid, but with added length and versatility that fills a hole in the lineup we've all been waiting for Storm to address.
