V for Vengeance
Well, Vengeance (AKA “V”) has been all over the 900 Global page stating how good he is. So, I took it upon myself to see what he’s all about. After making two small adjustments (human error, of course), “V” kept striking, like he said he would. Definitely a person of his word! This video is even short, but sweet. This Vengeance is a strong symmetrical ball that is early rolling, but still have enough punch to go through the pins after respond to the friction. Low RG with a high differential, something that fits my game. This ball will be something that I will take with me to tournaments, especially within the next few weeks. All I can say is… V has arrived. Enough said.

900 Global Vengeance
900 Global Vengeance on PBA O'Neill. 5x3.5x2. I was super excited to throw this ball. It's very early, strong and controllable. I anticipate using this ball on the fresh when there is a lot of oil in the front. This ball is going to good on a lot of different patterns because of its predictable shape. It reminds me of the Axiom except the Vengeance is more continuous. Make sure you visit Bowlers Touch Pro Shop to drill yours up. #900globalbowling #stormnation https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZThfoQBD4/

I threw this piece on a left-over house pattern. Out of Box ball motion started early in the mids with a strong backend reaction. The more I moved left into the oil, the ball had better reaction through the pins. I compared this to the Origin EX. I threw both pieces on the same line and the Origin EX was a little weaker through the pins. This will be a good piece to start with, This piece will be good for all styles of bowlers. Vengeance Review by Kyle, Joel, & Dean Johnson
900 Global Vengeance Cover: RB 91™ Solid Reactive 2000 grit Core: Blast™ + A.I. Core (Symmetrical) Color: Coal/Ash/Smoke Review: This ball has a lot of fun promotional material going on. If you haven’t already, make sure to visit 900global.com to enter to win a ball giveaway every day this month. We were expecting a pretty bold type of reaction just from takeaways from what they are doing with their social media stuff. We drilled this ball with our normal layout: tweener, 350-375 revs, 16.5mph, layout of choice is 5x4x2 (pin is above bridge). This ball reminds us a lot of the original Summit that Storm put out a few years ago. It is like a slightly stronger Phaze II, maybe a touch earlier. In our eyes for higher rev players it probably falls outside of the benchmark category. We see this piece being a great starter ball for lower rev players and a great transition piece for higher rev players. If you like strong symmetrical rolling bowling balls like the Phaze II or Summit you will really enjoy this ball. We bowl back to back sets on Thursday night league so for the second block we applied some polish to see how it would look and that’s when we felt this ball really shined, literally. Now looking more like a Phaze II Pearl this ball really blended the lanes well for us. This is one of those bowling balls that just works pretty much anywhere on the lane with surface adjustments. We really like this ball so far! Kyle, Joel, & Dean Johnson 900 Global Pro Shop Staffers joel@parklanes.net kyle@parklanes.net dean@parklanes.net www.900Global.com #GoGlobal

900 Global Vengeance review by Lonnie Pemberton

Cover: Reserve Blend 91 Solid Reactive Finish: 2000-Grit Abralon RG:2.47 (15) Diff: 0.055 (15) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 12-13 mph Rev Rate: 315 Axis Tilt: 14° Axis Rotation: 74° PAP: 5 1/8 R 7/8 Up Ball Layout: Pin Just Over Bridge 5 1/4 X 5 X 2 3/4 VLS The 800 series is back with a Vengeance. The new 900 Global Strong Symmetric continues a legacy of performance that we've seen in the Zen and Sublime lines. The Vengence features a new core called the Blast A.I. You get great mid-lane and the additional carry you've come to expect from the Amplified Intertia addition around the weight-block. I tested the Vengeance on a house pattern that had a session of senior league immediately prior. This usually gives me a good idea of how the ball will roll in transition, about equivalent to the second game of a regular league session here. I was a little worried. Thinking of how quickly my sublime focus had wanted to face up in this same situation had me on guard. I really feel that the Vengeance is an improvement, at least for what I want the ball to do, over those previous lines. I liked the sublime focus and the zen master but my only criticism of them was that they read the friction pretty aggressively so they could get a bit forward. I used the same layout on my Vengeance that I had on my Sublime focus to see what the difference would be if any. I definitely saw a longer transition window with the vengeance. It was just a little cleaner through the front but it was much rounder and for me retained energy much better. I still felt like my best look was with a little firmer speed and playing closer to the friction but it felt much more forgiving for my style of play. I did try slowing down and shaping it more to see how it looked. I certainly didn't feel like I couldn't play this area of the lane, I just felt like I had more forgiveness when I didn't try to shape the ball as much. I think this ball has a place in everyone's bag but should be popular with speed dominant and rev challenged bowlers. I could see it being a staple for some of the lady and senior bowlers with less rev-rate. 900 Global Vengeance
I drilled the Vengeance with my typical symmetrical solid drilling. A little stronger drilling that gets the ball started up a little earlier in the mid lane with a very continuous motion downlane. Strong, but not crazy strong. Early, but not forward. This ball accomplishes all of that. I've thrown it now on a couple different THS patterns with similar results. A ball that is strong enough to play through moderate amounts of oil, then has a very continuous and rounded motion off the dry. This ball is stronger than the Rockstar, but not as strong as say an Ion Max or Gem. So fits that gap very well. For anything but the heaviest of oil patterns, this should be the first ball out of the bag. The predictable motion makes it much easier to make decisions later in the block. Get some revenge on those pins with the 900 Global Vengeance. Brent Ritchie SPI Pro Shop Staff Member

900 Global Vengeance - 800 Series Coverstock: Reserve Blend 91 Solid Core: Blast A.I. RG: 2.47 Differential: .055 (15 lbs) Layout: 4.75 x 4 x 3 PAP: 6" Right, 1 3/8" Up Axis Tilt: 16° Rotation: 51° Rev Rate: 450-500 Speed: 17-18 mph Location: Vista Lanes - Yorkville, NY Pattern: Kegel Carbon (Terrain Conditioner) Lane Surface: Anvilane Vengeance is here and it’s not apologizing. The Vengeance features the Reserve Blend 91 solid cover along with the brand new Blast A.I core. The RB 91 solid cover was specifically crafted to generate a balanced reaction that will last from the start to the end of league. The Blast A.I. core has the highest differential in the 900 Global line and will create a strong predictable mid-lane reaction while still saving energy downlane. The Vengeance gave me a great look sliding on 30, looking 17 at the arrows with my breakpoint around 8. As the lanes transitioned, I kept moving left and had no problem getting the ball through the pins. When compared to the Viking, the Viking was significantly cleaner through the fronts with a quicker downlane motion. On the house pattern, the Vengeance blended the cliff, hooked in the oil and didn’t overreact when it saw the dry. On medium/heavy to heavy volume tournament patterns, I would start with the Vengeance, then go to the Viking when I needed the ball to clear the fronts. The Vengeance sets a new standard for solid symmetric balls and is one of the most dynamic releases from 900 Global. Stop by your local Storm VIP pro shop to check it out! Available on January 30th. Vengeance Review
Layout: 5 x 4 x 3 Surface: 2000 abralon with added Power Edge Polish Rev Rate: 470 Tilt: 13* The brand new 900 Global Vengeance brings a brand-new core and coverstock combination. The new Blast-AI core brings a low RG and very high Differential which was similar to the discontinued Sublime Focus but is more of a single density shape which allows for better overall continuation. The main difference here is the RB 91 Solid coverstock which is the strongest coverstock seen in a Symmetrical Solid in quite some time. I was able to test this on my typical 43ft house pattern with medium volume. At the box surface of 2000 abralon, I saw pretty strong and heavy roll on the fresh. Trying to play up the lane more gave me a lot of earlier hook and was not ideal to the conditions I was on. As I started to move left with my feet, I saw a better motion because the ball didn't read up front as quickly. For me, it needs more of a left to right motion through the front of the lane to see the correct midlane motion to go through the pins. Since my house pattern is not high volume, the box surface does not allow me to have ample use of the ball with my high rev rate. I decided to then put power edge polish on the ball to see if the shine allowed me to use the ball more frequently. I was pleasantly surprised at the ball motion I saw after adding the polish. Just like the factory surface, I still had a little trouble being straighter on the fresh. The strength of the core and cover still ultimately read the fronts too much and didn't continue well. As I got into around 20 with my feet throwing around 13 to 5, my eyes lit up. Much cleaner through the front of the lane with great continuation in the backend. It gave me area left and right of target that I don't usually see with strong cores. I was able to play up 10 and see hold and I was able to throw it to 5 and it blended the lanes pretty well. As I moved further left, the ball actually got better. It continued very well again getting it to the friction at 5 or missing in to 10. Like most stronger cover balls, the ball tends to roll out or use its energy up quickly when you get far left with your feet. I had no issues here at all. The Vengeance did not start to roll out until I got to around 35 with my feet which was truly impressive. I recommend this ball more for heavier oil conditions. If you are looking for a strong overall bowling ball, this could be a good ball. It does tend to continue very well if you can get the ball through the front part of the lane. Designed for the fresh, this would be the most optimal spot for it. However, you can polish it like I did and get more overall use out of it. Adam Chase Storm Staff

TESTING ENVIRONMENT Type: Lakes Bowl House Shot BALL: 900 Global Vengeance Coverstock: RB91 Solid Cover Core: : Blast A.I. Core Finish: 2000 Grit RG: 2.48 (14 Pounds) Differential: 0.056 (14 Pounds) MB/PSA: NA (14 Pounds) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 14-15 mph Rev Rate: 220 PAP: 5 7/16 Right 1/8 Down Layout: 45x4x30 900 Global says “The oil didn’t get lighter. Your ball choice just got smarter. The Vengeance was built for medium–heavy to heavy oil conditions, delivering strength without overreaction. This all-new core and cover combination produces one of the most dynamic symmetrical balls in 900 Global history, creating a readable, confident shape that holds up from the first frame to the last. It picks up in the mid-lane, stays smooth as the lanes transition, and still finishes with purpose downlane. Strong enough to start league. Stable and predictable enough to last. Engineered for medium/heavy–heavy oil. Surprisingly good at everything else.” Now onto my review portion of this ball. When we drilled this ball up I was asked if I wanted to hit the surface? My PSO threw his the night before and as a strong ball he felt his was a tad slower. I wanted to see what the ball looked like on the fresh. It looked good and I really wanted to throw it up against the Transformer. The Transformer digs into the lane and is strong and allows me to use it for about one game before having to make a big move. Now with the Vengeance it too is strong but unlike the Transformer it gets through the heads very well and really starts hooking in the midlane and has a lot of pop left when it hits the pins. These two balls are both really good strong options that I feel can be in the same bag as there are two different shapes.
