    Global 900 Vengeance

Posted by ward rauch on Feb 25th 2026

About me pap 4 3/4 right 1 3/8 up ball speed 17 mph rev-rate 450. Layout 65 x 4 1/2 x 35 Pattern typical house shot The Global 900 Vengeance is my new benchmark ball. This will be my first ball out of the bag every night. It will highlight whether I need to throw a slow/quick response bowling ball. Its reads the front part of the lane perfect and is continuous all the way through the pin deck which provides a very predictable shape. I find this ball usable on almost all lane conditions. I love this ball it Kicks out the ten pin just right!!!

    900 Global Vengeance

Posted by Curtiss on Feb 24th 2026

Cover: RB 91 Solid Reactive Core: Blast A. I. RG: 2. 47 RG. Diff. : 0. 055 Finish: 2000 Grit Abralon 900 Global’s new Vengeance is a Solid Symmetrical piece that is good for Medium-Heavy Volume patterns. This ball is one of the strongest Symmetrical I have thrown in quite some time. I am able to throw this ball on fresh house shot with no issues, but when the lanes begin to transition and oil carries down in the middle of the lane, I am able to stay in the oil and still carry the corner pins. This is also great ball to start out with on medium and heavier sport patterns. I am able to keep my angles in front of me and this ball does not overreact off the friction. For me this is a great, stronger benchmark ball and should be in everyone’s bag.

    900 Global Vengeance

Yes, the Vengeance hooks a ton. That is no surprise. What's not as obvious is how versatile this ball has proven to be. For a ball that hooks this dull, I can't believe how clean down the lane it is. It's the weirdest thing, even when it's grabbing the pattern and starting to change direction, it's still getting down the lane with ease. I can't remember the last time I had a ball this dull that I never had to worry about hooking in the heads. The Vengeance just "sees it" at the right time, and makes the ball so much more predictable and dependable than I imagined it would be. My Vengeance is drilled pin down, right underneath the fingers. This gives the ball a bit more length, does cut down the hook a little bit, and results in a ball I'm not afraid to use for Control on the fresh of any sport pattern more than about 38 feet. The Name is V!!!

The Vengeance is the newest big solid symmetric introduced to the 900 Global line. The Vengeance was built for medium-heavy oil patterns and within these conditions it provides you with plenty of strength without ever overhooking. The Vengeance to me feels like the strongest ball in the 900 Global line. It is earlier and more aggressive than a Viking and the Origin EX is a touch cleaner and less dynamic overall. The Origin EX is better for me from more straighter angles and then it’ll tend to 10 pin a lot if I get left of 20 with it but the Vengeance does not have that same issue. It’s smooth enough downlane that it is usable on shorter patterns but not too smooth to where you can’t move in with it and find success! It honestly makes for a really good strong benchmark piece!

    The Vengeance!

Vengeance • 900 Global • 800 Series Coverstock • RB 91 Solid Reactive • Finish 2000-Grit Abralon Core • Blast A.I. Core Weight • 15 lbs. RG • 2.47 Differential • .055 Layout • 4 ½ x 3 5/8 x 2 5/8 Tester PAP • 5” R, 5/8” D Tester Axis Tilt • 9° Testers Rev Rate • 250 Test Pattern • 42' THS (Typical House Shot) • Modified, Kegel Stone Street The all-new 900 Global Vengeance is a powerfully engineered ball that sets a new pin-crushing standard for straighter players like me! I found the Blast A.I. Core and RB 91 Solid Reactive Coverstock bring a powerful new dimension to any straighter player's game. So, let’s take a closer look at what makes the 900 Global Vengeance a must-have for your arsenal! Any straighter player will tell you that a high-track flaring ball is our go-to on fresh oil, and inside the Vengeance, the Blast A.I. Core, with its high .055 differential, delivers exactly what 900 Global claims. The Blast A.I. Core allows the Vengeance to dig into the lane without losing its inertia as it rolls down the lane. I was impressed with the smooth and predictable mid-lane read the Blast A.I. Core provided, and because the Vengeance likes to roll with a lot of intensity, you can count on this ball to deliver a pin-crushing blow through the pins. I would venture to say the Blast A.I. Core makes the Vengeance a benchmark-type ball on steroids! Straighter and low-rev players like me will love the consistency and power that the Blast A.I. Core delivers. The RB91 Solid reactive coverstock took me by great surprise! The RB 91 Solid reactive loves to absorb oil, and I loved the RB91 solid on a fresh THS. I was able to open my angles and create a motion that gave me the entry angle providing the most pin action I could ask for! Hit ‘em thin and watch them spin, hit ‘em tight and watch the flight! That is exactly what I saw with the RB91 Solid reactive coverstock on the Vengeance. I loved how this RB91 Solid coverstock blended the lanes with precision and balance I could count on, yet delivered the consistent power through the pins my low-rev hand depends on. So, if you’re a straighter, low-rev player, the BR91 Solid reactive coverstock will deliver the results you can depend on. One great caveat to the RB91 Solid Reactive coverstock is how cleanly it reacts to surface adjustments. I found the 2000-grit Abralon box surface was marvelous on a fresh THS. But as the night wore on, the Vengeance started to roll out and started leaving corner pins. So, on another night, when I sanded the Vengeance with a 3000-grit Abralon, I had to move a little further right to start the night, but as the night wore on, the Vengeance left me plenty of room to move where I wanted to, and delivered the power I needed to carry those weaker and less than perfect shots! In closing, the 900 Global Vengeance is a superb new release. The Vengeance has the predictability and consistency you love to see in a benchmark ball, but with the power that straighter players love to keep them striking! The Vengeance is both a benchmark and a power wrapped up in one! So, stop into your local Storm VIP Pro Shop today and have your Vengeance ready for your league play! Vengeance by RGR

900 Global Vengeance Ball specs: Blast A.I. core with RB91 solid coverstock finish with 2000 grit and layouts used are 4x4x1 and 5x5x4. My Specs: Rev rate 420’s, ball speed 15.3 to 15.8 mph off the hand, axis tilt of 16 degrees and axis rotation of 70 degrees, PAP is 3 13/16th up 1/8th. Tested on Pro-lane surface on a 43ft medium volume house pattern and 45 and 46ft sport pattern. The Vengeance is out for revenge on the lanes! I am primarily using these 2 balls on a house pattern but have also used the 5x5x4 on 45ft and 46ft sport patterns. On house patterns it has become the 2nd ball out onto the lanes after my current benchmark ball the Roto Grip Rockstar has lost some of its hitting power because of the carry down conditions that are occurring, especially when 3 out of 6 of us bowling on the pair are left handed like myself. The 4x4x1 is getting much use in the center I have been subbing at on a weekly basis because they have worn in HPL lane panels and a larger than normal cliff off the end of their house pattern. The main difference between these 2 balls is that the 4x4x1 layout is very “transparent” in the roll stage with a ton of evenness, “predictibility”. The 5x5x4 layout is stronger all the way around in backend motion, entry point, and length off of the friction. Even though the cover is stronger than the cover on prior solid releases, it works quite well with the new symmetrical Blast core. At the Storm Matchmaker events I coordinate and oversee the Vengeance has been a top 3 pick since putting them into the demo ball line up. Which shows that this ball is very adaptable to all lane surfaces, oil patterns and styles of bowlers out there. I usually do not drill 2 of the same ball at the same time, but this Vengeance was a “no brainer” for me to have 2 of them in my arsenal. With being the strongest cover ever in the 800 series line, this is why the Vengeance has a special personality on and off the lanes. And it will let you know why it is called the Vengeance when it pops the pins for you. Make sure you catch up with the Vengeance and other new releases at the Matchmakers coming to your area soon. My next month’s events are: 3/1 - Colony Park Lanes and Bowlers’ Supply - York, Pa. 3/14 - Spins in Pittsburgh - Duff’s Pro Shop 3/15 - Hanover Bowling Centre - Hanover, Pa 3/22 - Bowlers Discount Pro Shop, Ellicott City, Md. 3/29 - Penndel Lanes - Penndel, Pa.

    The Name Says It All

Posted by Thomas Szczepaniak on Feb 17th 2026

As I have always been a fan of symmetrical solids, the Vengeance is no different. The cover is very strong for me and it has been a very reliable ball to use game 1. The ball comes at 2000 grit but feels like it is so much more. I would love to see what this ball could do on a challenge or sport pattern. Now with a handful of tournaments coming up this ball will fill a spot in my bag. I am curious how the ball will react at one of our local houses that I have had a lot of good results with the Volt Solid and Rockstar.

    Mr V is the ball!

Posted by Todd Pawlak on Feb 15th 2026

You want a fresh ball out of the box for heavy oil? This ball is it. I call it Mr. V because it is very respectful indeed. Heavy oil keep it box finish, Lane shine will help it on normal house shots. I bought 2, I might try to polish one and see what that does. But the 1st time I threw this, yes had to play deeper to stay in the oil. Compared it to the 900 Origin EX, it does hook sooner, and earlier. Then I pulled out the Viking, the viking does go longer, then has more back end being a Hybrid reactive with the power edge finish. " V " is a great 1st ball out of the bag. Just watch the mid lane reaction. I know all bowling alleys are different, oils, lane surface, ect. But this ball rolls great, its not super reactive on the back ends witch is very controllable and love to drive through the pins!

    Vengeance!

Posted by Joshua L. Shoemaker on Feb 14th 2026

The Vengeance is the newest ball from the 900 Global line. The Vengeance features the Blast AI core wrapped in RB 91 solid. The Vengeance is the perfect first out of the bag ball for heavier conditions when asym options are too strong. The Vengeance reminds me a lot of the OG Summit from a few years back. I can see myself using the Vengeance a lot to blend fresh house shots and as a second ball out of the bag on some heavier sport conditions. The Vengeance is now available from any Storm VIP Pro Shop!
