Vengeance Returns

Posted by Carlos Torrero on Jul 6th 2026

The Vengeance Returns has been a great fit for me with the 4 × 4 × 2 layout. It picks up well in the midlane and gives me a powerful, continuous motion through the pins. What I like most is that it still feels controllable while giving me plenty of hook and hitting power.

    Vengeance Returns!

Posted by Thomas Coco on Jul 5th 2026

The Vengeance Returns is the newest addition to 900 Global in the Vengeance Series. It follows the success of the Vengeance Solid (one of my favorite strong symmetrical balls for heavy lane conditions). The Vengeance Solid gave you that early mid lane roll with a strong smooth shape in the backend. Once the lanes start to open up, and the friction increases, this is where the Vengeance Returns comes to play. With the returning Blast AI Core, paired with the infamous RB 91 Hybrid Reactive Cover stock, and finished with Power Edge Technology, the Vengeance Returns becomes one of the cleanest, smoothest, versatile bowling ball that fits perfectly right in the middle of your bag. I drilled mine at 50 x 5 x 35. In comparison to my Bionic and Ion Max Pearl, the Vengeance Returns would fit right in the middle of these two balls. While all three of these balls are clean and have a good amount of length, the Bionic tends to finish with a snappier shape whereas the Ion Max Pearl finishes more angular. The Vengeance Returns is clean, very smooth and versatile, and creates the perfect amount of predictability bowlers can ask for on fresh conditions as well as medium to heavy sport patterns. I would consider this ball to be a must-have in your bag just in time for the fall league season. This is a great 1-2 punch with a solid and hybrid. If you are looking to upgrade your arsenal with a clean, versatile ball motion and a benchmark feel, the Vengeance Returns is the choice for you. Great for tournament play

Posted by Isaiah A on Jul 3rd 2026

The 900 Global Vengeance Returns drilled 4 x 4 x 3 has become one of my favorite tournament balls because of its smooth, predictable motion and strong continuation through the pins. This layout gives me a great midlane read without sacrificing energy, making it an excellent benchmark option on both house shots and sport patterns. The Vengeance line has earned a permanent spot in my tournament bag because I can trust the reaction and make confident adjustments as the lanes transition. If you're looking for a ball that blends the pattern well while maintaining excellent control and hitting power, the Vengeance Returns is a fantastic choice.

    Vengeance Returns

Posted by Scott K. on Jul 3rd 2026

As a one-handed bowler with a 14.5 mph ball speed and a 350 rev rate, I drilled my Vengeance Returns 4x4x2 and couldn't be happier with the reaction on a typical house shot. The ball gives me a strong, readable motion through the midlane with a smooth but powerful move off the breakpoint. It clears the front part of the lane easily, picks up in the oil without quitting, and continues through the pins with excellent carry. I never felt like it was too early or too angular—it strikes a great balance between control and recovery. What impressed me most was how forgiving it is. Whether I missed slightly inside or got the ball a little right, the Vengeance Returns recovered predictably and kept driving through the pocket. As the lanes transitioned, I was able to make small moves and trust the ball to stay in play. For medium-speed, medium-rev bowlers looking for a dependable benchmark ball on a house shot, the Vengeance Returns delivers a strong, continuous motion with outstanding control and excellent hitting power.

    Most Versatile Clean Ball

The 900 Global Vengeance Returns is an absolute powerhouse that combines strong midlane traction with an explosive backend motion, making it a standout option for bowlers who want maximum performance on medium to heavy oil conditions. This ball creates incredible continuation through the pins, giving you outstanding hitting power while maintaining the predictability needed to stay confident shot after shot. Whether you're looking to open up the lane or need a dependable ball for tougher conditions, the Vengeance Returns delivers the strength and consistency to keep strikes coming. In this review, I break down how it performs on different lane conditions, who it matches up best with, and why it has become one of my favorite high-performance bowling balls. If you're searching for a ball that offers both power and control, the Vengeance Returns is definitely one you won't want to overlook.

    Vengeance Returns Baby!

Posted by Mike Walker on Jun 29th 2026

Right Hand - 15.5 mph down lane, 335 +/-, PAP 4.75, 1/2 up. House shot at Bowlero Edmond. The 900 Global Vengeance Returns is a fantastic addition to the 900 Global lineup, it brings back the proven Vengeance-style shape. This ball is designed to give bowlers a strong, readable motion on medium to medium-heavy oil conditions. The first thing you notice with the Vengeance Returns is how predictable it is. The ball reads the lane early enough to give you confidence through the fronts and mid-lane, but it still stores enough energy to create a strong, continuous move through the pins. It does not feel overly jumpy off the spot. The hybrid cover gives this ball a great balance of traction and responsiveness. It handles typical league conditions extremely well. Bowlers looking for a ball that can be the first option out of the bag will really appreciate how versatile this piece can be. Where the Vengeance Returns shines is its ability to blend the lane. It creates a smooth but powerful shape that works well for players who like to play angles without sacrificing hitting power. It is strong and has continuous motion through the pins. Can be a great benchmark reaction for medium oil and will be versatile for many styles of bowlers The 900 Global Vengeance Returns is a dependable, high-performance bowling ball that gives you the control, versatility, and power. The Vengeance Returns is a great release!

Furthermore, I will venture to say that when 900 Global claimed that the Vengeance Returns is not a replacement but a return, it is an absolute fact! The Vengeance Returns is an outstanding combination of Blast A.I. Core and RB 91 Hybrid Coverstock that belongs in any straighter player’s arsenal! So, let’s take a closer look at the Vengeance Returns and see what all the fuss is about! Like its predecessor, the original Vengeance, the heart of Vengeance Returns is the Blast A.I. Core. What makes the Blast A.I. Core so special is its ability to be predictable in motion yet powerful enough to destroy whatever pins get in its way. I loved how the Blast A.I. Core rolls with authority in the mid-lane without causing the Vengeance Returns to burn up too early, leaving those dreaded single-pin spares to deal with! Straighter players like me will enjoy the intensity and strength the Blast A.I. Core brings to the Vengeance Returns, especially when it rolls off the pattern. I loved how the Blast A.I. Core retains an enormous amount of energy that explodes when it finds the pocket, providing the Vengeance Returns with some of the strongest continuation in its class. So, if you’re a THS player or a pattern player looking for that predictable power and control to get you through, the Blast A.I. Core will fit right in. When it comes to the RB 91 Hybrid Coverstock, 900 Global hits the solid/pearl mix right on target! If you’re a straighter player like me, you’ll love how the RB91 Hybrid handles the many lane conditions you’ll see in a typical night of THS bowling. On fresh oil, the RB91 is very clean through the front of the lane and has just the right amount of traction in the mid-lane for a straighter player. I liked how the RB91 Hybrid gives the Vengeance Returns a smooth, consistent roll without being overly aggressive in the mid-lane or erratic and jumpy as it exits the pattern. The RB91 is consistent from the first roll to the last, and what makes the RB91 Hybrid stand out is its ability to take surface adjustments to fit the conditions you’re bowling on. The Power Edge finish will suit most straighter players on a THS, but a light 3000- or 4000-grit Abralon tweak makes the Vengeance Returns a wonderfully smooth-rolling ball to add to a pattern player’s arsenal. So, if you’re a straighter player like me, the RB 91 Hybrid coverstock makes the Vengeance Returns a ball to seriously consider for your arsenal. In conclusion, 900 Global strikes again with the Vengeance Returns. The Vengeance Returns combines the Blast A.I. Core with the RB91 Hybrid Coverstock, delivering consistent results for any straighter player like me. The Vengeance Returns will make a great standalone ball for your arsenal, or it will be a great step down from balls like the 900 Global Viking Conquest. Either way, the Vengeance Returns is a great ball to add to any arsenal. So, stop into your local Storm VIP Pro Shop today and have your Vengeance Returns ready for your next competition. LANE CONDITIONCOMMENTS **900 Global Vengeance Returns** **Style:** Right-handed Tweener **Rev rate:** ~300 RPM **Ball speed:** 15–15.5 mph ** Layout: 4 x 4 x 1 5/8 VLS which promotes a strong but controllable midlane motion. SPI: The Vengeance Returns is built around the **Blast A.I. asymmetric core** with the **RB 91 Hybrid** coverstock, making it a medium-to-heavy oil asymmetric designed to create a strong midlane read without the violent backend motion of many shiny asymmetrics. For my style/game, that's a very good combination. More defined than the Subline Hybrid and gets through the front part of the lane well without feeling too clean. This is where I think the ball shines. My moderate rev rate, I see how easily it picks up and stabilizes before the breakpoint. The motion is continuous rather than flippy and it keeps driving through the pins instead of making an abrupt move. -Overall: 9.5/10 for me best used on the fresh medium/heavy THS Compared to balls in my bag: * Storm IQ Tour: Earlier and significantly stronger overall. *Roto Grip Gremlin Tour X: Similar control shape, but the Vengeance Returns offers a little more total hook and continuation. *Alpha Crux: Alpha Crux is still the stronger heavy-oil ball, but the Vengeance Returns is cleaner and easier to use as lanes transition. | So far I like mine in OOB condition. So adjusting the surface will not be done, just proper maintenance Head on over to your local VIP Proshop today! #StrikingWorldwide

    Vengeance Returns

Posted by Brian Hirsch on Jun 28th 2026

The 900 Global Vengeance Returns is exactly what I was hoping it would be a strong, predictable benchmark ball that blends control with serious continuation. The combination of the Blast A.I. Core and RB 91 Hybrid Reactive cover creates an early midlane read without sacrificing power through the pins. It's designed for medium to medium-heavy oil and delivers a smooth, continuous motion that never feels jumpy.

900 Global Vengeance Returns review by Lonnie Pemberton

TESTING ENVIRONMENT Length:43 Volume: Med-High Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS COMMENTS Core: Blast A.I. Cover: RB 91 Hybrid Finish: Power-Edge RG: 2.47 (15) Diff: 0.055 (15) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 12-13 mph Rev Rate: 315 Axis Tilt: 14° Axis Rotation: 74° PAP: 5 1/8 R 7/8 Up LAYOUT: Pin Over Ring 5 X 5 X 2 VLS 900 Global has a new 800 series release to give you a cleaner option in the line. The Vengeance Returns features the Blast core with AI that was featured in the original Vengeance this time wrapped in the Reserve Blend 91 Hybrid cover. The Hybrid cover creates much more length than the solid, so you get dynamic motion down-lane. I tested the Vengeance Returns on our house pattern after a shift of senior league had bowled. This usually creates a good proximation of second game of my normal league and lets me test ball reaction in the transition. The original Vengeance was an early and smooth motion ball that I really only found use for when I needed a pretty aggressive mid-lane read or I was looking for a ball that would get forward and control down-lane reaction. It was very consistent rolling, but when I had to cover boards it didn't retain energy well so I really needed head oil. I was amazed at the difference that a cleaner cover made. The Vengeance Returns definitely does 'Return'. This ball is a fantastic value as I feel like it really gives you strength and motion more on par with higher performance releases. The core seems to rev the ball up in just the right spot and as I transitioned left on the approach the ball just kept coming. This ball has enough strength to overpower the backend even when you get pushed so far left you're lofting the ball over the front of the lane. This ball will work well for a plethora of styles of bowler. It's also very driller friendly so I think the Vengeance Returns will find it's way into the arsenal of a lot of people.
