900 Global Vengeance Returns Bowling Ball

This ball is a difference shape needed in your bag for when the lanes start to transition!

The Vengeance Returns by 900 Global is the latest addition to the Batch 800 Blend and it compliments the original Vengeance perfectly. The biggest difference between the original and the Returns is the coverstock. This coverstock is a hybrid which is also nano-based, meaning, evening though it’s a shiny ball, has some teeth in the coverstock so it doesn’t blow through the spot down-lane. With an RG of 2.47 and a differential of .055, those numbers tell us that the ball wants to dig and flare, so keep that in mind when drilling it! I’ve drilled one so far and have had love the way it rolls. It’s mapped out as 5.5 x 4 x 3. This puts the pin above my middle finger and a pretty decent shift of the CG. I’ve had the most success with the Vengeance Returns when I need to create more shape left-to-right down-lane and use more angle to my advantage. Because of the nano in the cover, I know this ball won’t miss the spot, so I can be more confident in shaping it when needed. I feel like the Vengeance Returns compliments my Viking, Vengeance, and Gremlin Tour-X extremely well. On higher friction surfaces or patterns that don’t provide much volume, the Vengeance Returns is a staple in my bag! Go drill one!

The Vengeance Returns is the definition of controlled power. It revs up effortlessly in the midlane, creates a strong and continuous motion through the backend, and never feels overly sensitive to friction. When I need a ball that can handle more volume while still driving hard through the pins, this is one I can count on. The predictable shape and impressive continuation make it an easy choice whenever I need confidence on tougher conditions.

The 900 Global Vengeance Returns has become one of my go-to options once the lanes begin to break down. Mine is drilled 55×4.75×40 with a PAP of 4 1/8" right and 7/8" up, allowing it to clear the front part of the lane with ease while producing an explosive move once it encounters friction. When stronger solid covers start reading too early, the Vengeance Returns is the perfect transition piece. It stores plenty of energy, creates excellent backend motion, and still drives confidently through the pins. If you're looking for a clean, angular ball that shines during late blocks or league transition, the Vengeance Returns is an exceptional choice that always gives me confidence when it's time to open up the lane.

Those who love the Vengeance, now a new nano based RB91 Hybrid cover, Vengeance Returns hits the lanes!! I bought 2 of them, one pin up and one pin down. I can't wait to try them on different oil conditions. This Vengeance will go a little longer, but still have the drive to go through the pocket. Its fun throwing the Vengeance, then if it hooks a little early pull out the new Vengeance Returns, because it returns to hit the pocket! It rolls very well, reads the mid lane very well, and hit the pocket for sure. Its nice to move a little deeper on the lanes if you have to and have a ball you can rely on.

Vengeance Returns combines the strong symmetrical Vengeance core with a hybrid version of the original's coverstock. The result is a big, strong, slightly tumbly core but with a little more kick down lane due to the cover. Shiny symmetrical balls tend to really stand up off the spot and be quick or sharp, but with its single density, high differential core, Vengeance Returns is more rolly than balls like the Phaze 2 Pearl or Rocket A.I., but cleaner than the Bionic. Combined with the stronger-but-cleaner coverstock, that makes this ball a great option when the conditions are medium friction and demand a symmetrical pearl ball, but maybe the backends are really crisp or the corner is flying and you want a ball that will calm down and smooth out off of that friction. If Bionic is too early or too much off the spot, and Phaze 2 Pearl is too clean or too sharp, Vengeance Returns is splits the difference perfectly. This ball definitely fits a gap in our line, right in between some of our most usable pieces. I like to see a tumbly, round shape, so this one is sure to get some use out of me! 900 Global Vengeance Returns Ball Review 900 Global Vengeance Returns uses the same Blast AI core that was used in the orginal Vengeance wrapped with the RB91 Hybrid Coverstock. Core-Symmetrical RG-2.47 Diff-.055 Surface-Poweredge Polish Layout-4.75 x4x1.75 (VLS Layout System) This layout gives me a quicker response to the friction. The Vengeance Returns will be a great compliment to the orginal Vengeance. You can start with the orginal Vengeance on fresh oil when you need more control and then when you need more backend the returns will be the perfect option. One thing i noticed with the returns for a shiny ball it reads the oil while still giving you that strong backend. The returns was giving me the orginal zen vibes the way it was reading the midlane but with a much more responsive backend

Storm Products has released a new Vengeance from the 900 Global brand. It’s called the Vengeance Returns. It features the same symmetrical Blast A.I. core as the original Vengeance. Admittedly, I never threw the original Vengeance because I heard it was a really smooth, strong symmetrical which I didn’t need. But I was very intrigued by the Vengeance Returns. First, it has Reserve Blend (RB) 91 hybrid reactive cover which should make it cleaner and be more in the middle of the arsenal. I like that cover combination with a low RG (2.47 for 15#) and higher diff (0.055) core. So it is not too early because of the mix of pearl in the hybrid cover, but the low RG means it will rev up and read the mid lane. And the high diff will mean it has good flare potential to help it have a continuous down lane motion. The second reason why I was intrigued by the Vengeance Returns is that I heard it’s an alternative to the Bionic for those rare few who don’t like the Bionic. I think I fall into that category as I haven’t found much success with the Bionic. I will say I probably should have done a different layout in the Bionic, but ultimately for me, it reads early to force me to open my angles, then it’s not enough around the corner. I threw the Vengeance Returns for the first time at the regional at Husted’s Hazel Dell which was on the 40’ PBA Regional v2 pattern. It slotted in where I would have expected- after the first couple games when the big asyms bogged down and I needed something cleaner, but that still had enough core dynamics to read the midlane and continue on the back end. I drilled mine 5 ¼ x 4 x 1 ½. It looked pretty good on that pattern. The cover was clean enough to clear the front easily, but it isn’t too clean. The shape was rounded and continuous. I think this is a very good, versatile option to add to the middle of your arsenal and is a slight step down, but in the ballpark with the Bionic.

This ball has attitude but the way it rolls definitely backs it up. This ball allows me to stay in the track after the lanes start to transition. It’s a great step down once my original vengeance starts to be a little too much when the lanes are transitioning. This is the ball I see myself throwing a lot this next league season.
