    Brunswick Energize

Posted by Bob Newman on Jan 1st 2026

I love the Brunswick Energize. Straight out of the box I won a 5-game Senior scratch sweeper with this ball averaging over 240. Right there I would give this ball a good review, but there was something very familiar about this shape this ball created. A couple years ago my favorite go to ball was the Track Theorem. They are both shiny hybrids, the RG, Differential, & Asymmetry are very, very close to each other. No wonder I like it. The core shapes are close as well. I love this ball because it is clean thru the front and strong down lane with lots of power at the pins. And I already know it is a moneymaker. :-)

    Energize Your Versatillity

BALL SPECS Ball Weight: 15 lbs DRILL PATTERN Ball: 55 x 4.5 x 35 BOWLER STYLE Rev Rate: 375 rpms Ball Speed:17.5 mph off hand PAP/Track: 4 5/8 over 3/4 up SURFACE PREP Grit: 4000 Grit BALL REACTION Length: Late Midlane Hook Back End: Hard Arc COMMENTS: The Energize is the hybrid version of the very popular Vaporize. This ball reads the friction sooner and handles oil better than the Vaporize. The Energize seems to work best earlier in the night on patterns with oil present. This one fits in perfectly between the Hypnotize and the Vaporize. It could also be the quicker response ball for some bowlers who are speed dominant. It is versatile. You can play all over the lane with this one as long as there is enough oil present to get the proper length. Energize your versatility with the Brunswick Energize!

The Hybrid you are Looking For!

Posted by Bryan L. Williams, PBA Member and DV8 Pro Staff on Dec 1st 2025

The new Brunswick Energize is the Hybrid ball you have been looking for, that fits perfectly in your arsenal! Besides this ball looking incredible rolling down the lane with its multiple colors, this ball complements the Brunswick Mesmerize exceptionally well. Like most hybrids, the Brunswick Energize blends the lanes conditions to provide bowlers with a consistent ball motion shape and motion through the pins. I drilled the new Energize 50x4.5x35 to compliment the new Alert. The Energize will move much earlier than the Alert on heavier oil conditions. This layout allows for a VERY predictable and smooth roll on any condition that is very controllable and predictable. Wrapped in HK22, the new Brunswick Energize is that hybrid you need in your bag!

    Brunswick Energize

Posted by Chris Freeland on Dec 1st 2025

When Brunswick decides to combine the core and cover from two of your favorite releases from the prior year, what more can you ask. Here we have the Vaporize core and the Hypnotize cover. I found the Vaporize to be a clean and angular ball while the Hypnotize was all about strength and control. These two together in the Energize creates a benchmark asymmetric option that is strong enough to be the first ball out of the bag with a pretty long use window before you have to go into your ball down symmetrical option.
