CORE TECHNOLOGY: The Rondure™ TOUR-X Core is a precision-engineered modification of the proven Rondure shape. By manipulating the internal mass densities, we have successfully lowered both the Radius of Gyration and the Differential. This intentional shift provides a highly controllable, medium-flaring asymmetric dynamic, perfectly tuned to deliver the smooth, professional-grade motion demanded by elite players.
COVER TECHNOLOGY: The V-R1™ Hybrid Reactive is an advanced, nano-free formulation designed for a more aggressive footprint on the lane. By utilizing a precisely engineered 2:1 ratio—blending two parts solid & one part pearl—this coverstock achieves a potent balance of unadulterated havoc and refined predictability. The solid components ensure maximum mid-lane traction, while the pearl additive provides more response through the backend. The result is a tour-level coverstock that offers consistent & continuous motion.
PERFORMANCE SYNOPSIS: Engineered specifically for bowlers seeking more overall control and a predictable, continuous motion throughout the entire lane. The combination of the Rondure™ TOUR-X Core and the balanced V-R1™ Hybrid Coverstock creates a highly versatile and tunable ball that excels on a wide variety of oil patterns, making it a staple for any competitive arsenal.

wow amazing reaction
I had to leave a review because I shot a 300 and a 741 out of the box. I love this ball so far, who wouldn't? It rolls so well, some compare it to the Storm Ion Pro, but this to me rolls a lot better, more controllable on the back ends. I thew a 300 with the original Gremlin a couple weeks ago, so I had to get this ball! And I'm glad I did! I feel I can start with the Gremlin tour-X and move onto the Gremlin if I need to. A great 1-2 ball punch. Also rolls different than the Roto Grip Transformer. There is a place for every ball, some people like the way they roll some don't. I just feel this ball is more controllable. I'm 52 years old and I love this ball. Watch videos for your style, watch other bowlers. This ball just fits in my bag for me, I'm really happy with it, its a benchmark ball to give you the option to keep throwing it, or go to something different.

Roto Grip Gremlin Tour-X
Layout: 4.5 x 5 x 4.25 The Gremlin Tour-X features the V-R1 Hybrid Coverstock wrapped around the Rondure Tour-X Core, creating a very versatile and reliable reaction on a variety of lane conditions. After throwing this ball on several different patterns, it has quickly become one of the most dependable pieces in my bag. The Gremlin Tour-X is clean through the front part of the lane, while still providing a smooth, predictable motion downlane that allows me to stay in control of the pocket. For me, this is a great ball to start with, or it fits perfectly as the second ball out of the bag after my Concept when I need something that blends the lane a little better while still creating continuation. If you're looking for a true benchmark reaction that gives you control, versatility, and a smooth shape, the Gremlin Tour-X is definitely one to add to your arsenal.

Gremlin Tour-X
Roto Grip Gremlin Tour-X - HP3 Coverstock: V-R1 Hybrid - 4000 Abralon Core: Rondure Tour-X RG: 2.48 Differential: .034 PSA: .011 (15 lbs) Layout: 4.5 x 3.5 x 3.75 PAP: 6" Right, 1 3/8" Up Axis Tilt: 16° Rotation: 51° Rev Rate: 450-500 Speed: 17-18 mph Location: Vista Lanes - Yorkville, NY Pattern: Kegel Carbon Lane Surface: Anvilane The Gremlin has been reborn in TOUR-X form! It features the V-R1 (Versatile-Response 1st Edition) hybrid cover and the new Rondure Tour-X core. The V-R1 hybrid cover was created to create mid-lane stability and provide a consistent reaction to friction on a wide variety of patterns. The Rondure Tour-X core was strategically reengineered to generate a smooth backend reaction and controlled shape. The Gremlin gave me a great look sliding on 30, looking 17 at the arrows with my breakpoint around 7-8. I was able to play multiple angles by changing my speed and hand position. It also did an excellent job blending out the wet/dry on the high friction house pattern. When compared to the original Gremlin, it was several feet earlier and much rounder off the end of the pattern. If you loved the original Gremlin, but need a smoother motion without compromising carry, the Gremlin Tour-X is what you need! Stop by your local Storm VIP pro shop to check it out! Gremlin Tour-X
Ball Specs: Gremlin Cover: Core: Review: The Roto Grip Gremlin Tour X is a high-performance benchmark ball designed to offer a more disciplined and predictable motion than its predecessor. By utilizing the Rondure™ TOUR-X asymmetric core with a low RG of 2.48 and a controlled differential of .034, it provides an early, stable rev-up that resists overreacting when it encounters dry boards. Wrapped in the V-R1™ Hybrid Reactive coverstock and finished at a 4000-grit Abralon surface, the Tour X excels at blending out wet/dry lane conditions, making it an ideal choice for players who need a smooth, continuous arc on medium oil or challenging sport patterns. It effectively fills the gap in a modern arsenal as a reliable "first ball out of the bag" that offers more drive than a traditional symmetric piece while maintaining the elite control necessary for navigating mid-lane transition. Gremlin Tour-X
The Roto Grip Gremlin Tour-X features the V-R1 Hybrid reactive cover wrapped around the Rondure Tour-X asymmetric core, finished at 4000-grit—so it’s built for medium flare and a super controlled, stable motion that blends the lane and keeps everything in front of you . For me, this ball is all about control and predictability, especially on tougher or transition-heavy patterns where I don’t want anything jumpy. It reads the midlane smoothly, never overreacts off the spot, and just gives me that “stay in play” type of motion that’s easy to trust. Compared to something like the Hyperdrive or even the original Gremlin, it’s noticeably more controlled and less aggressive, which actually makes it more usable when the lanes get tricky. I’m not using this to open up the lane—it’s more of a precision piece—but when I need to blend wet/dry and keep carry consistent without guessing, the Tour-X is one of the most reliable balls I can throw.

Gremlin Tour X
The layout is 4 1/2 x 4 1/8 x 2 (50 x 4 3/4 x 30 using the dual angle layout). Since the tournament season is approaching, I decided to challenge myself and bowl on a 43-foot sport pattern with 31 mLs, and a 4:1 oil ratio with a speed bump at around 38 feet. The cover of the V-R1 Hybrid and the medium-low differential of the Rondure Tour-X core provided a smoother, yet rounded response to the speed bump down lane. The box finish of 4000 surface is amazing for me to to create a shape down lane that was predictable, consistent and provide continuation through the pins. A lot of strikes were thrown on this pattern and became very playable and adaptable quickly! This is a great replacement of the Storm Ion Pro hybrid that was discontinued some months back. If you are looking for a ball that is smooth, and reliable and ready for the tournament season, definitely grab this one! This one is definitely coming with me!

Roto Grip Gremlin TOUR-X – WWRD 3/13/2026
Cover: V-R1 Hybrid Reactive Core: Rondure TOUR-X RG: 2.48 RG. Diff.: 0.034 Finish: 4000 Abralon Roto Grip’s new Gremlin TOUR-X is a Hybrid (2 parts Solid. 1 Part Pearl) Asymmetrical piece that is good for Medium-Heavy Volume patterns. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. I drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers, CG kicked out 1” from the palm, and 1” Left of the Mass Bias. 5 x 4 x 2 ½. I threw this piece on a Shark 47’ pattern. Out of Box ball motion started in the mids with a strong predictable motion on the backend. I compared this to the Gremlin. Gremlin was overall 2-3 boards more. Cleaner through the fronts with a sharper backend compared to the Gremlin TOUR-X. This is a good 1-2 punch from the Gremlin Line. Gremlin Tour-X
Roto Grip Gremlin Tour-X 4 ½ x 4 x 4 ½ Very smooth, predictable and controllable. Clean through the fronts but continuous through the pins. I can see myself using this ball on the fresh (with more surface) if they are really hard and I want to control the pocket and even throughout transition. Gremlin Tour-X is very similar to the Ion Pro which has been one of my favorites since it was released but now that is has been discontinued I feel that this Gremlin Tour-X will be the replacement. This ball will get plenty of lane time for me in tournaments on a variety of patterns. Get yours Friday 3/13 at your local Storm VIP Pro Shop #squadrg #stormnation https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZThcuncMd/

Unleash Your Inner Gremlin
TESTING ENVIRONMENT Type: Lakes Bowl After League BALL: Roto Grip Gremlin TOUR-X Coverstock: V-R1™ Hybrid Reactive Core: Rondure™ MaxD Core Finish: 4000 Grit RG: 2.52 (14 lb) Differential: 0.034 (14 lb) MB/PSA: 0.010 (14 lb) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 14–15 mph Rev Rate: 220 PAP: 6 3/16 → ¾ Up Layout: 50x4x25 The team and I spent some time discussing when and where the Roto Grip Gremlin TOUR-X would be most effective, and we decided to test and film it on a breakdown after a league shot. The goal was to see if this could be the go-to transition ball after throwing stronger pieces like the ION Max or Equinox Solid. Right off the bat this ball seemed familiar and after we were talking about what we were seeing it reminded us of a TOUR Dynam-X. Within the first few shots, I started standing on 25, playing the track area and getting the ball to 12-14 at the arrows and 7–9 downlane. Since the pattern had already been bowled on, transition happened quickly and we were moving every couple of shots. I eventually moved left to around 31 with my feet, looking 15-17 at the arrows, and the ball continued to shape really well through the fronts while still driving through the pins.
