    Hustle EARTH

Hustle EARTH - 50 x 4.75 x 30 The Hustle EARTH really caught my attention with its color scheme and the 2000 grit abralon finish. It does read early and is very smooth and predictable. The EARTH is a great ball to start off with on the fresh on a typical house shot and can play a little closer to the friction to help blend the oil in the fronts and crisp backends. It’s simple and to the point, and is a great ball for bowlers with slower speeds or someone that wants to step up to hooking the ball a little bit more. If you want something simple, grab this ball!

Roto grip keeps surpassing my expectations. This is a great option when the lanes are tighter, but the oil isn't there. Super rolley and smooth on dryer patterns. When you get it to the pocket, it seems to Strike 99% of the time. I have two of them in my bag for tournaments now.

    Hustle Earth

The Hustle Earth is this year’s solid entry into the Hustle line. Every spring, we can count on some refreshes and shuffling in the Hustle line. There’s no need to make any changes, the Hustles have proven themselves to be great on medium to low volume shots. This is a replacement for the Hustle X-Ray, the only difference is the Earth is finished at 2000, while the X-Ray was finished at 4000. The Hustle Earth does exactly what you’d expect out of a dull solid Hustle, midlane roll with a smooth arc. I think the Earth will shine on lower volume fresh house shots and some low to medium volume sport shots where ball control off the end of the pattern is at a premium. Finished at 2000, it’s going to be too strong to use on beat up shots, for that you’d want to take a look at the Hustle Glow. Layout: 4x4x2 My Specs - Speed - 16 mph, Rev Rate - 315. Roto Grip Hustle Earth Ball Review by PJ Haggerty

Posted by PJ Haggerty on Jun 20th 2025

The Hustle Earth is the latest addition to the HP1 line at Roto Grip. The Hustle line has been around since 2016 and has provided a ton of success to bowlers around the world. The core remains the same as it’s been since day one (Hustle Core; symmetrical) but there’s been different variations of the cover stock (solid, pearl, and hybrid). The Hustle Earth has the solid coverstock with numbers of 2.53 for the RG and .030 for the differential. I’ve drilled one so far and really like it. I tend to drill these a bit stronger because the differential is lower to make sure they flare enough. It’s mapped out as 4 x 4 x 2. This puts the pin nearly above my ring finger with a stacked CG. Out of the box, the surface is 2000 and I decided to put a bit of polish on it just to create a bit more length and a quicker response time. The Hustle Earth is a perfect ball to go to if you’d like to keep your angles in front of you, or, once the lower RG, asymmetrical balls have done their job and you need a ball to flare less / get farther down the lane before it reacts. Go drill one! I think you’ll be impressed!

    Roto Grip Hustle Earth

Posted by Mike LeViner on Jun 20th 2025

Roto Grip Hustle Earth Without a doubt, this is the “strongest” Hustle ever – as far as how much oil the ball can handle. This thing digs strong in the midlane. Luckily, my home center has a lot of volume in the summer, because this ball does need some oil to get it through the fronts. Once the Earth gets through the heads, it has a massive amount of midlane traction but does not sacrifice downlane continuation. This ball is a perfect step down from balls like the RockStar or Phaze 2, as it creates a similar shape to those two ball but is a bit less overall. I have not thrown the Earth on sport conditions yet, but I think it's consistency and smoothness will be big assets on tougher patterns.

    Hustle Earth

The new Hustle Earth features the tried-and-true Hustle core wrapped in the VTC Reactive Solid cover stock. At 15 pounds the RG is 2.53 and the differential is .030. This ball comes finished at 2000 grit abralon. I drilled this ball at 5x4x2 (pin above bridge) to replace my Hustle RIP. The RIP is a little cleaner than the Earth due to the finish on the coverstock. The ball just seems to glide along the lane in a very controlled arcing motion. The Earth starts up about 2-3 feet sooner than the Hustle Glow and has a much more controlled backend motion. This ball will see a lot of action on my league patterns. I can play just inside the “cliff” and feed the Earth to the dry and it will just ease its way back to the pocket. Another one of those balls that won’t wow you with an overall hook or massive backend reaction. The only place it wows you is on the score sheet. Dollars for dollars, the Hustles are the best balls on the market.

Their proven Hustle Core and VTC (Versatile Traction Control) Coverstocks make each of the Hustle’s an individual powerhouse for any bowler’s arsenal. In this review, let’s take a closer look at the Hustle Earth and what makes this Solid version a perfect choice for nearly any style of bowler! Like all of the balls in the Hustle line, the Hustle Core has proven to be a smooth, consistent workhorse since its inception in the Hustle INK. The Hustle Core is a well-rounded and smooth-rolling core. And for those who are learning about what RG and differential mean. The translation with the Hustle Core is that it is stable as it glides in the front part of the lane and rolls with a predictable motion as it makes a turn-off the pattern. With that type of predictability, the Hustle core is an excellent choice for beginner bowlers learning to understand skid, hook, and roll. Furthermore, because the Hustle Core provides such a stable and sweeping motion with plenty of destructive power through the pin deck, the Hustle Core is a great go-to choice for the seasoned bowler when you’re large and expensive cores are just too much for the lane conditions. So, don’t let the thought of HP1 push you away; the Hustle Core will deliver results for any style or level of bowler, especially for straighter players like me. The VTC (Vertical Traction Control) Solid Reactive Coverstock makes the Hustle Earth an excellent choice for many styles of bowlers. Straighter players like me will appreciate its ability to keep your shot consistent throughout a night of league bowling. I found that the 2000-grit Abralon surface provided a stronger bite through the heads in the fresh oil on a THS yet left a good amount of torque to give a crisp turn off the pattern. As the night played on, the VTC Solid reactive cover continued to offer a well-defined skid, hook, and roll motion while retaining a substantial impact at the pins. Furthermore, I appreciated how the VTC Solid on the Hustle Earth blended the worn and over-under conditions, allowing me to stay in my A-game all night long. So, hands down, the VTC Solid Reactive is not only good for beginner bowlers, but it will also excel for players like me who love that down-and-in shot. In conclusion, Roto Grip continues its Hustle line of success with the Hustle Earth. So, whether you are a new or a seasoned bowler, the Hustle Earth has a place in your arsenal. Beginner and straighter players will find the Hustle Earth will give you the reliability you can depend on to keep you down and in motion, striking all night. For the advanced bowler, the Earth will provide you with a superb late-night blend and consistency you can depend on to keep you on your toes for a great night of success. Dee's Reviews

Posted by DeeRonn Booker on Jun 18th 2025

The Hustle Glow and Hustle Earth both feature the same reliable Hustle™ core (RG 2.53, Diff 0.030), but their different colors and coverstocks give each ball a distinct reaction on the lanes. The Hustle Earth, with its solid cover and early traction, closely resembles the Hustle Camo in how it reads the lane earlier and offers a smoother, more controlled motion. On the other hand, the Hustle Glow, with its pearl cover, behaves more like the Hustle M&M, providing more length and a sharper backend reaction, ideal for lighter oil conditions.

    Roto Grip Hustle Earth

Posted by Brian Watson on Jun 16th 2025

It's June so it Hustle Release time. The new one is the Hustle Earth. What a cool looking ball with a great shelf appeal. Looks like the planet Earth! I drilled mine 4.5 x 4 x 1.75 and added Storm Power Edge polish. Since they discontinued the Hustle Rip which was a solid, the Earth is the replacement. The Earth has a little slower response time that the Rip off the friction. As the Earth has a more rounded shape overall. I was able to use the Hustle Earth on the 3rd game in league and on the shorter to medium sport patterns. Another great addition to the ever successful Hustle line.
