Since their conception back in 2016, the Hustle Series of bowling balls has provided outstanding performance above and beyond the retail price. From the 34th sanctioned 900 Series by the Hustle™ INK, to countless TV appearances over the years on both the PBA & PWBA Tours. The various versions Hustle's have provided consistent reactions time and time again.

And while the inner Hustle Core has remained the same since day one, it's the different variations of the VTC™ (Versatile Traction Control) Coverstock - Solid, Pearl & Hybrid, that have kept this line viable on those Light to Medium Oil conditions for every level of bowler from the first timers, all the way up to the pros.

    GLOW by RGR

Posted by Rick Mitchell on Jun 21st 2025

Roto Grip Hustle GLOW Layout: 3 x 5 x 2 - finished with Power Edge from factory Hustle core with VTC Pearl coverstock My updated specs: Rev rate 420’s, ball speed 15.3 to 15.8 mph off the hand, axis tilt of 16 degrees and axis rotation of 70 degrees, PAP is 3 15/16th up 3/16th. Tested on Pro-lane surface on a 44 ft house pattern with lower volume used for the junior and senior leagues, a 44 ft house pattern with larger volume, and patterns that ranged from 33 ft to 39 ft sport patterns. Hustle GLOW has a POP of color, the Hustle GLOW a long and very nice strong arc reaction down lane on HPL and Pro-Lane. The roll and reaction is very similar if not identical to the Hustle SAY from a few years ago, the GLOW has a softer angle entering the pocket than the prior Hustle AU, R/P/G, and RAP. but stronger than the HSB, M&M, and Wine versions. The intense colors will be a BIG seller to the younger bowling peeps and the “young at heart”. The bowlers that like to see the ball change directions with the color changes, will also LOVE this GLOW. No other entry level reactive ball line gives you the ball motion and hitting power like the Roto Grip Hustle line. Now adding the GLOW and EARTH to the line will give the Hustle line 4 unique looks on the lane and 4 color choices for those looking for color and performance all wrapped up in one ball. I have now added both new Hustles to my league bags, and have removed the XRAY and my oldie by goodie 900 Global Xponent Pearl. I now have in order in my league bags for the 2 centers I bowl in are: Hustle EARTH, Hustle GLOW, Rock Star w/2 in PAP, Rock Star w/ 5 in PAP, Hyper Drive RST, and 900 Global Origin EX. Check out the latest information at www.stormbowling.com and Roto Grip’s YouTube page. Roto Grip Hustle Glow

Posted by Mike LeViner on Jun 21st 2025

Roto Grip Hustle Glow The Hustle Glow – besides being possibly the coolest looking Hustle ever – has that classic skid-flip reaction that SPI products has been known for for years. This ball does not even consider starting to hook before the back part of the midlane, and then it is a strong, angular reaction. I find the reaction shape to be somewhat reminiscent of the IQ Tour AI, with less overall hook. The Hustle Glow is amazing on medium/light lane conditions, though it is definitely too clean in the fronts for any heavier volumes. I find the Glow to be a great step down from either the aforementioned IQ Tour AI, the Road Warrior, or even a ball like the Ultimate Wrecker.

    Hustle Glow

Posted by Rich Kollmeyer on Jun 21st 2025

The Hustle Glow is this year’s Pearl entry into the Hustle line. Every spring, we can count on some refreshes and shuffling in the Hustle line. There’s no need to make any changes, the Hustles have proven themselves to be great on medium to low volume shots. We get updated colors - and WOW what colors these are… Love them or hate them, they’re attention getting! In the past, I’ve had problems controlling the shinier Hustles, but so far from what I’ve seen with the Glow, it hasn’t been a problem. I’ve primarily thrown it practicing after the leagues are done, so the shot gets pretty beat up. I’m amazed at how controllable the Glow is when it sees friction - it’s a pearl, so it’s going to have back end motion, but somehow they’ve made it controllable - a much smoother motion than I was expecting out of a pearl Hustle. Layout: 5 x 4 x 2 My Specs - Speed - 16 mph, Rev Rate - 315. PAP 5 1/8 x 7/8 Up. Youtube Link: https://youtu.be/D8SwoHvzt4A

    Hustle Glow

Posted by Todd Benner on Jun 20th 2025

The new Hustle Glow features the tried-and-true Hustle core wrapped in the VTC Reactive Pearl coverstock finished with Power Edge. At 15 pounds the RG is 2.53 and the differential is .030. Drilled at 5x4x2 (pin above bridge) this ball is excellent on drier conditions. The pearl cover and low differential make this an easy ball to use when the lanes start to get burned up. I am still able to play further right in the drier part of the lane and the Glow does not overreact. It provides great length with a medium-quick response on the backend. The Gow creates a good entry angle into the pocket providing outstanding pin action. If you are looking for a great performance ball at a low price, the Hustle line will not disappoint.

    The "Glowing" Hustle Glow

Well, after rolling the new Roto Grip Hustle Glow and Earth, the answer is clear – you don’t! Roto Grip continues to dominate the competition by continuing their Hustle line with their proven Hustle Core and their VTC (Versatile Traction Control) Coverstocks that make each of the new Hustle’s an individual workhorse for any bowler’s arsenal. Today, let’s take a closer look at the Hustle Glow and what makes this Hustle Pearl version an excellent choice! Initially developed in the Hustle INK, the Hustle Core has proven to be a smooth, consistent workhorse. So, whether in the new Hustle Glow or Hustle Earth, the Hustle Core revs smoothly in the mid-lane and continues with a consistent motion as it makes its way off the pattern, making it an excellent core for new bowlers learning to understand ball motion. Further, because the Hustle Core provides a stable, sweeping motion with plenty of destructive power through the pin deck, the Hustle Core is a great choice for the seasoned bowler as a go-to when those more expensive cores are just too much to handle. So, don’t let the thought of HP1 push you away; the Hustle Core will deliver results for any style or level of bowler, especially for straighter players like me. Now, beyond its “glowing” appearance, the VTC Pearl coverstock makes the Hustle Glow a fun and viable option for many types of bowlers. For the more seasoned straighter and down-and-in bowler, the VTC Pearl covering the Hustle Glow on dryer lane conditions will give you a steady traction in the front part of the lane and that smooth, predictable motion of the pattern you can trust and depend on. For the new bowler, the VTC Pearl coverstock will provide enough traction to keep your Hustle Glow on the lane while looking pretty cool while doing it! Lastly, if you are simply out to have a good time when the light goes out on a Saturday night at your local Bowling Center. In that case, the Hustle Glow will light up the darkest of black lights and keep you rolling with that pizazz to keep your night full of entertainment and fun! To sum it up, the Roto Grip Hustle Glow is a bright and versatile ball that works well for bowlers of all skill levels. Beyond its glowing appeal and bright, luminous colors, the Hustle Glow will keep the beginner bowler wanting to come back again week after week. For the seasoned bowler, the Hustle Glow will provide a great alternative to your game when all your strong cover and core combinations are too much to get the job done. The Hustle Glow has a place in virtually any arsenal, so I suggest talking to your local Storm VIP pro shop operator today to see where the Hustle Glow fits into yours. Dee's Reviews

Posted by DeeRonn Booker on Jun 18th 2025

The Hustle Glow and Hustle Earth both feature the same reliable Hustle™ core (RG 2.53, Diff 0.030), but their different colors and coverstocks give each ball a distinct reaction on the lanes. The Hustle Earth, with its solid cover and early traction, closely resembles the Hustle Camo in how it reads the lane earlier and offers a smoother, more controlled motion. On the other hand, the Hustle Glow, with its pearl cover, behaves more like the Hustle M&M, providing more length and a sharper backend reaction, ideal for lighter oil conditions.

    Hustle GLOW

Posted by Nicholas Hogan on Jun 16th 2025

Review by Nicholas Hogan on the Hustle GLOW Great colors, Love the way it rolls, Owns the lanes with style, Watch the pins fly (G.L.O.W) haha Seriously though, this Hustle is just like all the other great Hustles that Roto Grip has made, gets me out a jam when I need a ball late and you just can’t beat the price for the performance. For Tournament bowlers this ball is going to be at the end of your bag, and for a bowler in league, this ball will probably be one of the first ones that come out of your bag. Easy to control ball. Roto Grip Hustle Glow – WWRD 5/23/2025

Posted by Patrick Dombrowski (Storm Staff) on Jun 16th 2025

Cover: VTC Pearl Reactive Core: Hustle Core RG: 2.53 RG. Diff.: 0.030 Finish: Power Edge Roto Grip’s new Hustle Glow is a Pearl Symmetrical piece that is good for Medium-Light Volume patterns. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. Drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers and CG kicked out 1” from the palm. I threw this piece on a Fresh 43’ house pattern. Out of Box ball motion was clean through the fronts with a sharp backend reaction. I compared this to the Hustle RIP. Hustle RIP was 3-3 more than the Hustle Glow. Hustle RIP was not as clean through the fronts but a more controllable backend reaction than the Hustle Glow. This piece will be good for all types of styles.
