The Modern Performance Line series delivers exceptional results, leveraging advanced symmetrical core technology to set a new standard in performance. Building on the success of the SWAG Fusion line, which was widely praised for its unique ball reaction and versatility, the new Assassin introduces a lower RG (2.52) and higher differential core (.048) for increased downlane motion compared to the Fusion models. Paired with the Dagger Pearl base and enhanced by our AP26 additive, this design creates a distinctly different ball reaction, improving adaptability on higher-friction lane surfaces. This makes it an outstanding choice for drier patterns and transitional conditions when more core is needed.

DESIGN INTENT:

Speed > Revs –  Great for speed dominant bowlers on medium-dry to medium oil lanes or those high-friction surfaces. It’s designed to give more backend and continuation than the Fusion models, and the Dagger AP26 Pearl cover gives it a good response when it hits the friction, making it awesome for lanes that demand a bit more hook downlane. It’s super reliable and gives you that great downlane action when you need it.

Balanced Speed & Revs –  The Assassin Pearl serves as an ideal transition benchmark ball for balanced bowlers who prioritize power and control. With the increasing usage of high-volume lane oil, the demand for bowling balls that offer enhanced strength and control has steadily grown. Featuring the upgraded Dagger AP26 pearl coverstock, the Assassin Pearl provides improved downlane performance and consistent motion. This combination enables balanced bowlers to confidently adapt to a diverse array of lane conditions with ease and precision.

Rev > Speed – The Assassin Pearl is a great pick for rev-dominant bowlers looking for something dependable on those long or high-volume oil patterns when you need some serious backend. Its Dagger AP26 pearl shell gives you extra backend, making it your go-to ball for handling those tough oil transitions with confidence.

    SNEAKY GOOD!!!

Posted by Leon Valentin on Mar 18th 2026

The SWAG Assassin Pearl is sneaky good! The name fits this ball perfectly—it’s quiet but deadly, just like a true assassin. I have mine drilled at 70x4x45, and for me, it delivers a very angular motion downlane that really stands out. This ball is part of the Modern Performance Line and can be compared to the SWAG Fusion line. For my game, it serves as a reliable benchmark for a symmetrical ball, especially on lower oil volumes and during transitional conditions. It reads the lane cleanly while still providing a strong and controlled move on the backend. My average ball speed is in the mid-14 mph range, so I can comfortably start league play with this ball on a typical house shot. The new AP26 coverstock really shines, offering improved downlane performance with consistent, predictable motion. Compared to my SWAG Fusion Hybrid, which is a bit stronger, the Assassin Pearl fits perfectly as part of a great one-two punch. Overall, this ball is extremely versatile and dependable—definitely a standout piece in the lineup.

    Swag Assassin

Posted by Shane Bofia on Mar 11th 2026

Swag knocked it out of the park with this one. The Assassin is so versatile that any bowler can throw it and be very successful. From the down and in low rev low speed bowler, to the high rev high speed bowler. It’s that versatile. And with the AP26 coupling agents added to the cover stock, it fills the voids which gives the ball more surface to create more friction with the lane. Which in turn creates more hook potential when needed. This ball is great for lanes that begin to dry up or transition. I have my layout at 55x4.25x75. This layout gives me a very similar roll as urethane but with great backend action. I recommend this ball for any bowler looking for a symmetrical ball.

    SWAG Assassin Pearl

I've had this ball for 2 weeks and already shot 3 700s and my high series for the year. Drilled by Buddiesproshop, and I went with the layout they recommended for me. I'm throwing it all 3 games, it still carries great as I move deeper as the shot dries up, and gives me tons of miss room.

    SWAG Assassin Pearl

WOW! This ball looks amazing and strikes a ton! This ball is one I use just after the Judge/Judgment. When they become to strong and create a broke down area on the lane. This ball you can stay in the same area and use the same line as before. The AP26 in this ball with the pearl cover make it read very dependable but not over hook of the dry areas. The best part about this ball is it has a smoother motion. Its not going to over react when you are on harder sport shots like at nationals. This ball is going to be in my bag! Performance- This ball is great when there is a lot of hook and you need to control it. This ball is money on though shots or later in blocks when the pairs get over under on reaction.

    Ball Review

Posted by Mike Scholl on Feb 22nd 2026

The Assassin has been a great transition ball for me and really shines once the lanes start to change. I have mine drilled 65 x 2 3/4 x 35, which gives it a strong midlane read with a smooth, controlled backend motion. It’s early enough to handle the leftover oil but still clean enough to not burn up when there’s friction to the right. For me, this is typically a Game 2 ball in league once the heads start to go, or around Game 4 in a longer tournament block. It allows me to stay ahead of the transition, keep my angles tighter, and maintain consistent hit and carry as the pattern continues to break down.

    SWAG Assassin – Strike Closer

Posted by Jim Williams on Feb 17th 2026

When I need to create angle and finish strong, I grab my SWAG Assassin. For me, it clears the fronts effortlessly and saves all its energy for the backend. The moment it sees friction, it makes a sharp, confident move and keeps driving through the pins. It’s not just a flip — it’s continuation. What I love most is the carry. I can move left, open my angles, and trust it to recover strong. Light hits mix, flush shots explode, and it gives me confidence late in league when strikes matter most. If you want clean length with a decisive finish downlane, the Assassin lives up to its name.

    Strong and Consistent

Posted by Jason Taylor on Feb 17th 2026

I have had the opportunity to use this ball in four complete games, scoring 237, 267, 235, and 257. I selected this ball because it was intended to build on the success of the Fusion line, which I have not previously used. Based on my experience with the Assassin, I regret not having a Fusion ball earlier. It has proven to be an excellent choice for drier lane conditions, such as those at my home bowling center. The consistent motion and strong backend reaction have been very effective. The new AP26 coverstock is likely to boost the Swag line's presence in the industry. I look forward to the opportunity to use this ball in tournaments at different venues and under various lane conditions.

    Swag Assassin Bowling Ball

Posted by Anthony Grubba on Feb 16th 2026

I love this ball, rolls great for me with having a slightly higher ball speed. It reads the mid lane great and has a smooth motion down lane to the pocket. It stores enough energy to smash the pocket and knock all the pins down. It's a great ball for your typical house shot.

    Swag assassin pearl

Posted by Loyd bell jr. on Feb 16th 2026

I got this ball drilled up 55x5x45 and I can use it on fresh or burned up what I have noticed is it get through the fronts clean and mid lane as well and it has an continuous motion, not no hockey stick, but very continuous can cover a lot of boards. I would put this in above a benchmark bowling ball. I am a speed, dominant, rev, dominant player myself.

Swag Assassin – Clean Through the Front. Violent on the Back

Posted by James Williams on Feb 16th 2026

The Swag Assassin is built for bowlers who want to see the ball glide effortlessly through the front of the lane and then make a decisive move when it sees friction. This is the kind of reaction that turns flat corners into messengers and good shots into confident strikes. What makes the Assassin stand out is how clean it is early without feeling weak. It stores energy exceptionally well, which means when it reaches the breakpoint, it doesn’t roll out — it drives. The backend motion is strong and defined, yet controllable enough that you can trust it on medium conditions and during transition. When stronger balls start reading too early, the Assassin allows you to move inside, create angle, and keep striking. Through the pins, it keeps its momentum. Instead of deflecting, it splits the 8–9 and keeps the rack low, giving you that powerful continuation serious bowlers look for. It’s the type of ball that not only looks good going down the lane but finishes even better. If you’re ready for a ball that creates angle, increases entry percentage, and helps you stay ahead of the transition, the Swag Assassin is more than just another option — it’s a difference-maker.
