I recently drilled up the SWAG Craze Tour Solid, and the first thing that stood out to me was how smooth and controllable this ball is on the lane. This is the kind of ball you want when the lanes are fresh and you need something that reads the lane early without being overly aggressive. The Craze Tour Solid uses the Craze symmetric core with the Rage solid coverstock, and that combination really emphasizes a strong mid-lane read and exceptional control. Instead of skidding too far down the lane, the ball picks up smoothly in the oil and begins its motion earlier, giving you a very predictable and readable reaction shot after shot. What impressed me most is how well this ball blends the lane pattern. It doesn’t jerk off the friction or overreact; instead, it rolls with a smooth, continuous motion through the pins. That kind of reaction builds confidence because you know exactly what the ball is going to do every time you release it. For me, the Craze Tour Solid really shines on fresh house shots and medium oil conditions, especially in the first game of league or the start of a tournament block. PAP - 3 3/4” right, 1/2” up Drilled 50 x 4 x 30 For the purpose of this review, I was bowling on a fresh house shot that was a medium condition. I’m more speed dominant, throwing about 16-16.5mph, with a medium rev rate. I typically play down-and-in, targeting between 5 and 15, depending on lane condition. I left the ball at its out-of-box surface. I assure you, this is not just another “black ball.” This ball is phenomenal. It just does what it’s supposed to do. I released the ball, and it always did the same thing: skid-read-“climb.” The “climbing” is one of the elements that makes this ball special. It doesn’t overreact, and does the same thing over and over. Nothing fancy, just does its business and goes home. The Craze Tour Solid is versatile enough where you can use it the whole night. I moved two boards across three games, and had a huge pocket, carrying light, flush, and high. The AP26 additive in the coverstock in the recent batch of releases makes a visible and clear difference in ball reaction. It’s still a smooth motion, while it’s a more defined shape than Swag equipment I’ve thrown from prior releases, and the drive through the pins is greatly improved. I regularly split the 8-9. I also have the newly released Unreal Solid, drilled the same way, also out-of-box surface. They would make a great 1-2 punch, with the Unreal reading earlier for the heavier oil condition, and then you can transition to the Craze Tour Solid for when the lanes start to break down.

The Swag Craze Tour Solid with a 55 x 3.75 x 60 layout gives me a smooth, controlled, benchmark-type motion. This layout is designed more for control and predictability rather than a big backend flip and i get just that out of it.

SWAG Family i want to introduce the SWAG Craze Tour Solid! THIS BALL IS GOOOOD! The new AP26 additive that is in the cover makes this ball absolutely great. this ball i have used on longer oil with more surface and it still strikes! My main use for this ball is strait out of the bag on medium oil patterns. It is a smooth shape with a very dependable movement off the friction. This ball is great on sport shots because it is so controllable. It doesnt get violent off the dry like other balls will. Performance- The Craze Tour Solid is the ball to go to when patterns are playing tricky or very tight down lane. Nice smooth motion a dependable breakpoint makes this ball dominate on house and sport shots.

The Craze Tour Solid performed impressively on both fresh and used THS patterns. This ball offers strong down-lane motion with a very rounded, controlled backend that inspires confidence through the pins. It reads the mid-lane exceptionally well and doesn’t overreact when it encounters dryer fronts, making it a reliable choice when you need predictability without losing punch. Despite being a solid, the Craze Tour Solid still provides good length, holding its line deep before making a smooth move toward the pocket. Compared to the Craze Tour Pearl, it’s a logical step down in skid, but it still feels more aggressive overall than the original Craze Solid — giving me extra bite when the oil starts to push down. This ball is going to see a ton of use in league play, especially games 2 and 3, when the pattern begins to break down and I need something that cuts through oil and still recovers down-lane. It’s dependable, strong, and finishes well through the pins. On top of performance, the black and white colors looks awesome rolling down the lane — sharp and eye-catching. Craze Tour Solid - Drilled 40 x 4.25 x 20 and 2k Surface. This is a great option in your bag for when the lanes get unique and you want to control the lane and keep it in front of you. Even at 2k surface it still gets down in the lane easily. This ball is special and will always have a place in my bag.

I didn’t think the original Craze Solid could be improved, but I was clearly mistaken. The addition of the AP26 additive to the coverstock has made a significant impact on how this ball reads the lane and how cleanly it shapes downlane. I threw my first official set with it last Wednesday and posted a 698. The ball simply refused to quit — it struck from every angle I put it in. It responds exceptionally well to both hand and ball‑speed adjustments, which is the hallmark of a true benchmark piece. This one is absolutely locking down the benchmark slot in my arsenal for a long time.

Out of the box at 4000 grit, it gets through the fronts surprisingly clean for a solid, then reads the midlane strong and predictable. And there’s zero concern about it quitting downlane—because it won’t. It still gives you serious pop and continuation through the pins, just in that smooth, controlled benchmark shape that keeps you out of trouble. It blends wet/dry really well, doesn’t jump off the spot, and just keeps you in the pocket. If you want a true read-the-lane ball that lets you stay aggressive but smart, the Craze Tour Solid is absolute money and deserves a permanent spot in the bag.
