DESIGN INTENT:
Speed > Revs – Speed-dominant bowlers often face challenges finding a ball that offers enough traction while still delivering the down-lane hook needed to carry corner pins. During our testing, the Judge proved to be a standout favorite among speed-dominant players looking to solve this issue. It provides exceptional traction in situations where other balls fail to pick up, yet maintains impressive down-lane motion. This unique combination makes the Judge an ideal first choice for players tackling heavier oil patterns, offering the performance they need right out of the bag..
Balanced Speed & Revs – The Judge stands out as a premier option for balanced bowlers, offering unparalleled control and hook on heavier oil patterns, ability to control wet / dry lane conditions, and exceptional ability when needing to read the lane. During testing, it consistently delivered impressive results, earning high praise from balanced bowlers and cementing its status as a top performer and leader in its class.
Rev > Speed – For rev-dominant bowlers, the Judge is an awesome choice for staying in control on long, flat, or heavy oil conditions, especially on newer or lower-friction lanes. Some might prefer the Judge with a shinier finish instead of the standard 2500 out-of-the-box finish, but whichever finish you choose, the Judge makes it so much easier to keep the pocket in play.

A ball for everyones bag
As a PSO, I have drilled this ball for many bowlers with many different styles. The SWAG judge has a strong midlane read while while maintaining plenty of downlane hook and continuation. My speed dominant bowlers are pleasantly surprised how much more movement they get downlane compared to some of their other equipment. My balanced bowlers find that they can play this ball anywhere on the lanes due to its predictability. My Rev dominant customers find that this ball blends over/under conditions very well. a must for everyones bag

Lay Down The Law
This ball has become my go to ball, I was need something that could still read mid lanes while also being able to make the turn and have exceptional continuation and this ball has delivered on every one of those points. Not only do the ball power through the pins but it is easily controlled. I am a tweener style bowler who normally plays zone 2, 14-15mph backstop speed with 350 revs. Before this ball i felt like i was at a constent battle with transition and having to down play my game. Enter The Judge, i have now been able to play all positions on the lane without wondering whether the ball will be able to handle it. I have freedom to stand wherever i want and can now just adjist my hand position without having to play to much with ball speed. It truly has been the best additon to my bag in awhile. I can't wait to try the next release from Swag.

Court is in Session!
I intentionally waited to post a review on the Judge because none of my local bowling centers put out enough oil to handle it and I knew I had the USBC Open Championships coming up at the end of May. When I attempted to throw the Judge during my league night, I moved way left, feet near 40 & sent the ball across the middle arrow only to watch it immediately grab just past the arrows and slam the 2-4 pocket. Good thing it was a fill shot! This happened at 2 different centers, each with a grab and go than immediately told me this was not the ball I was looking for on those conditions. So as a result, the ball stayed on the shelf until Nationals rolled around and I was NOT disappointed. The ball read the patterns perfectly and helped me to keep up with transitions better than I had in previous years and I ended up using it for all 9 games, with only a slight surface adjustment with a 1000 grit pad. Ball was very predictable, even when I moved well right and kept my breakpoint around the 3 board, it came churning back to the pocket and left very few corner pins. While I didn’t shoot lights out and made an unhealthy amount of mistakes, the ball gave me confidence and my scores were climbing and becoming more consistent the longer I was throwing it. I left with a renew confidence in myself and the urge to hit the lanes more. Absolute phenomenal ball and one I will be using for tournaments going forward without hesitation. With this ball, court will always be in session.

This Ball has teeth!!
The hate on Swag balls in the past have been that they are “smooth and lazy,” but The Judge is the opposite of that. The Judge reads early, but still has teeth to finish in the backend with continuation through the pin deck. First couple shots out of the box really surprised me. This new Swag equipment is a complete 180 from the previous lines and not something to sleep on. The Swag Judge may be a little strong for most house shots, but will be great for those heavier sport patterns. This ball compliments the Unreal very well and helps fill a hole that Swag has been missing in the past. The time is now to “Put some Swag in your bag!”

Heavy Oil Monster!
The Swag Judge is definitely the ball to have in your hands when you are faced with a heavy oil condition. This ball gave me excellent length through the front with a strong mid-lane read and a very predictable and strong reaction once it saw friction at the end of the pattern. My misses to the right read the mid-lane so well that the ball still made it to the pocket and carried very well. The predictable motion it creates makes it easy to know exactly what the ball is going to do. On a medium volume house shot, I was immediately able to play left of third arrow with ease. Once that area broke down, I simply had to make minor moves to the inside part of the lane. On a heavier volume house shot, I was able to square my angles and play closer to the track and watch this ball just obliterate the pins.

Great heavy oil ball
The SWAG Bowling Judge is in the Advanced Tech Performance Line with a Witness Solid cover and asymmetric core that digs through the oil and adds strong reaction down lane. It has a 2.53 RG / .049 Diff and is 2500 grit sanded out of box. I drilled this ball 65/5.5/5 putting the pin above my fingers with a PAP of 5 over 7/8 up. This ball was able to play deeper on the lanes going over 25-35 and recovering nicely with continuation through the pins. It was also able to play up 15 swinging to 10 and hold the line to strike. The colors are bright and look awesome going down the lane.
