I found this deal on the Buddies Pro Shop site to be the best one of all! The shoes are essentially the same shoes as what is considered the top shoe in bowling. (THE 9’s, for those in the now.)
I purchased Storm’s version of the 9’s because of one thing. The price! This is the best deal on Buddie’s site, hands down. The performance for this shoe made my Brunswick TPU-X shoes look bad. From the moment I put them on, I could tell and feel that they are a much better shoe.
I had no issues with sliding and my traction sole is perfect for me with no soft or weak push off soles. The TPU-X would cause me some minor pain in my push off foot (right big toe) after bowling due to the softer or flexible soles. I prefer the slightly stiffer push off sole on the Storm SP3’s than the TPU-X. Less foot fatigue equals longer bowling sessions and more strikes!
Overall the Strom SP3’s are a great shoe and you will not be disappointed in the fit or quality of the shoes. I went for the wide sized shoe and it was the perfect choice. Go and get a pair before they run out. Highly recommended. Peace!
These shoes are well made, and feel sturdy. The options for slides and heels are also second to none. I tend to drag my feet, and I am a big fan of the toe cap. The insole isn’t great and I had to buy my own, but that’s my only complaint with the shoes. Once I got more cushion, they were comfortable and provided great stability.
