Sales Tax

On June 21, 2018, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of the state in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. The decision overruled a longstanding physical presence rule, allowing states to require remote sellers to collect and remit sales tax. Based on the Supreme Court decision will be collecting sales tax in accordance with each state’s individual sales tax law. Each state has its own threshold that must be reached to collect the sales tax. Based on the threshold rules and when those thresholds are reached for each state our system will collect the sales tax for those qualifying individual states.
