 Additional Information:

Stellar, as in exceptionally good or outstanding; that pretty much sums this beauty up. The new Brunswick Stellar is just that. We brought back the beloved Versa Max core and paired it with the always popular Activator Plus 2.0 to bring you an outstanding new ball. The Stellar is a shiny, hybrid cover with a higher RG core that will produce a completely different ball reaction in the Brunswick line. The Stellar ignores the front of the lane and is a real star in the mid-lane and backend, working best on medium to even medium dry conditions. This ball is a Stellar performer you’re going to have to have.

    Stellar Reaction

BALL SPECS Ball Weight: 15 lbs DRILL PATTERN Ball: 65 x 5 3/4 x 40 X Hole (if there is one): none BOWLER STYLE Rev Rate: 375 rpms Ball Speed:17.5 mph off hand PAP/Track: 4 5/8 over 3/4 up SURFACE PREP Grit: 4000 Siaair BALL REACTION Length: Back End: Continuous COMMENTS The Stellar brings back the popular Versamax core with a new quicker reacting coverstock. What I found with the Stellar is some of the Versamax shape in the middle part of the lane and some of its forgiving nature. This one is certainly cleaner and has better recovery than the Versamax. It fits in between the Hero and the Fearless reaction wise and looks to be a real winner on the moderate type conditions. I use it as a ball down from the Midnight Blue Jab. This one compares favorably as an updated Hyroad and should be a good ball for all styles of play. Be sure to check out the Stellar if your looking for good backend reaction on medium conditions.

    Brunswick Stellar

The Brunswick Stellar is a super clean ball with controllable back in. Due the high RG in the Stellar, it has no problem clearing the fronts. When the heads go and you are having trouble getting the ball to the spot, the Stellar is the ball. I can't say enough about the controllability of the Stellar. The Stellar is great for house conditions and flatter sport shots.

Doesn’t get much Stellar than this

The Stellar mixes the Activator Plus 2.0 hybrid cover with the famous Versa Max Core! This mixes is the stuff dreams are made of, heavy rolling core with a cover that mixes traction and finish. This ball should be in every bowler’s bag, no matter if your a junior league bowler to the pro out on tour. Don’t miss out on this great piece.

    Stellar Ball Motion

Posted by Kerry Smith on Aug 26th 2021

If you loved the Brunswick Versa Max core back in the day, this ball is for you. Brunswick has brought back the Versa Max core and paired it with the Activator Plus 2.0 to create this amazing hybrid symmetric bowling ball. This ball skips the front part of the lane works its magic on the mid and back end part of the lane. I find this ball works best once the lane starts to break down and hook more down lane.

    Simply Stellar!

Posted by Robert Mockenhaupt on Aug 5th 2021

The Brunswick Stellar is super clean thru the front saving it's energy for the mid-lane and backend. It doesn't read early with the out of box surface. I will say it handles some oil in the heads. I see this ball being used on medium patterns, lighter volumes, and/or later in a block of 6 games or more. Open your angles slightly and strike away. The popular Activator Plus 2.0 cover along with the Versa Max core provides excellent hitting power. Mine is drilled 5" pin over bridge which I typically do for most symmetrical balls. Be sure to check out the Brunswick Bowling website for more information.

    Stellar

The Versa Max core is back and paired with the Activator Plus 2.0 hybrid cover. The Stellar really reads the mid-lane and backend very well on medium conditions. For me I see a similar shape to the original Hero but a bit earlier and stronger. An absolute must have to see exactly what the lanes are doing

    Great ball

Posted by Ian L on Jul 19th 2021

This ball has 2 of my favorite combinations a bowling ball can have. Versa Max cover and activator cover. Extremely clean through the front part of the lane for a hybrid with strong angular, yet controllable backend motion. It controls the middle part of the lane without losing anything down lane. This is a great medium condition ball and a great ball to go to after your higher end ball starts to lose energy.

This ball is Stellar and a ball your gonna want in your bag if front of the lane is starting to burn up. Great addition

    Stellar

The Stellar is another great ball from Brunswick. It brings back the very popular Versa Max core and with the activator plus 2.0 Hybrid. Your going to get a ball that doesn’t read the front part of the lane and will pick up on the backend add and Dynamicore and it will send the pins flying. I drilled mine 65x4.5x30. I use this one on medium to light oil. When the lanes get burned up this is when I use this ball and it works great for me and fits perfectly in the Brunswick Line.
