Additional product information:

While designing and testing the Hy-Road™ we kept in mind that we needed to maintain the superior on-lane performance that has come expected from the Thunder Line™ of bowling balls. Our desired outcome was to create a bowling ball that strategically placed itself in-between the T-Road Solid™ and T-Road Pearl™. What better way to do so than combine the two coverstocks, hence creating a hybrid coverstock. By utilizing the ever so powerful Inverted Fe² Technology for the weight block, we knew that we could create the mid-lane read needed to handle a medium-heavy lane condition. By encasing the weight block inside the R2S™ Hybrid coverstock, we found the perfect balance between its two predecessors. We found the Hybrid to be a great go-to ball once the T-Road Solid™ is too much. It gives you better mid-lane control than the Pearl. The reaction can be described as the ultimate benchmark reaction, mid-lane read with a predictable hook motion.

This ball is great! Very well made, and felt very comfortable even in the first game I used it! Additionally, the shipping time was unbelievably fast. Absolutely no complaints!

Got to love the classics. 4th Original Hyroad won’t be the last. Clean through the fronts, controllable backend, drives through pins!

    hy road max

Posted by Unknown on Mar 16th 2021

The HyRoad Max has some big shows to fill for sure after the original hyroad is still being used on tour. My first reaction to the max was that cover was just to strong for me and I was not getting the carry I wanted. It would tend to just give up in the back end and not go through the pins good. As I used it and it got some lane shine on it I did find my self getting the carry I wanted. I just needed the ball to get another foot down the lane to get a nice shape. I think a lot of the complaints are about the out of box finish. With that being said the ball takes to lots of different surface changes.

I would recommend this ball to anybody, I drilled it pin up for a nice gradual hook and it works really well! 10/10 would recommend!

    Storm Hy-Road

Pretty decent on the house shot may need a little surface as it appears to be not quite strong enough for the first ball out . Surprisingly much more skid flip for me, but before I alter the surface will get a few games and the lane shine may take care of the over under.
