Additional product information:

Often imitated and never duplicated... this is the famous Purple Pearl Urethane, and it’s finally back in the Hammer line.

Some skeptics said we couldn’t make a Black Widow, and it just happens to be one of the hottest balls on the market six months after its release. They’ll say the same thing about the Purple Pearl Urethane, and they’ll be wrong again. We realize the importance of this ball and have done extensive testing to make sure it is precisely what bowlers expect.

The core and cover materials are all the same, as is the reaction. The one difference you’ll notice is that we now offer the Purple Pearl Urethane in 12 and 13 pounds.

This thing goes long but it goes left out of the pattern. Going to try to polish it

Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane, purple pin edition, with video!

Posted by James G. on Mar 21st 2023

Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane, purple pin edition! The gold standard for urethane bowling balls is back with the purple pin edition, featuring the same classic weight block and coverstock that has become a fan favorite over the years. I drilled this one 50 x 3 ¾ “ x 25, mimicking one of my favorite layouts on my green pin purple pearl urethane. The Purple Pearl Urethane Hammer, purple pin, rolls and hits just like its predecessor, with that consistent urethane ball motion that is reliable time after time. This has been my “go to” ball on PBA Viper league this season. If you do not have one of these, especially if you bowl on a lot of sport shots like I do, you are giving away pins to the competition. Check out my two shot quick hit video below and see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/QihDDz5Jkng Order your Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane (purple pin edition) now from Bowler Builders Pro Shops! Nothing hits like a Hammer!

Just started using it. Rolls well and Carrie’s well. I’m pleased with it, so far.

    Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane

Using my new Purple Pearl as a dual purpose ball. Spare ball, especially on corner or single pins and as my short oil ball. Helps to reduce the number of balls I need to carry for local or out of town tournaments. As usual, I had Buddies Pro Shop setup this ball and it was drilled as requested.

    Great reaction

Posted by Clayton Davis on Mar 22nd 2022

Ball has a great smooth flowing reaction when it hits the friction. Great for when you encounter short low volume patterns. Hit with 500 right after drilling and it really made the ball come to life.

It’s a great ball, the ball hooked a lot right out of the box. One I threw it some it calmed down and became very smooth and predictable. I threw a 638 series my first night in my league, and I’m only have a 168 average.. I highly recommend this ball !!
