Additional product information:

The Blue Coral Venom™ is the first ever hybrid asymmetric found in the 10-year history of the Venom™ line. The latest stage of evolution in the wildly successful Venom™ line, the Blue Coral Venom™ focuses on versatility and benchmark reaction for moderately high friction surfaces. An upgrade to the Venom™ Recoil, the Blue Coral Venom™ provides more traction in the oil with a stronger and more continuous down lane motion.

With the Coercion™ MFH Reactive cover, the Blue Coral Venom™ provides plenty of length through the front of the lane, while picking up in the middle of the lane with a smooth and controllable transition. This hybrid cover is remarkable thanks to its ability to provide traction in the oil, without sacrificing control down lane. This performance provides the strength and incredible versatility that the Venom™ line is known for.

Versatility is also what makes the Gear™ APG core special. Its low differential and asymmetry allow the Blue Coral Venom™ to attack the pins from shallower angles using a more aggressive cover stock. Originally deployed because weight holes were being eliminated, the slight asymmetry of this core gives ball drillers more options than a typical symmetric design.

    Blue coral venom

This is the first Motiv ball I have thrown. This is the most versatile ball I have ever thrown and I have been bowling over 60 years. I will definitely try another ball from Motiv. The drilling by Buddies was perfect. Buddies is the only place I will go for my bowling balls. Great service and extremely fast.

I got this ball as a birthday present. within 3 weeks of drilling this ball, I threw a 299 and my first 300 with it, as well as averaging 220 a game. The ball is very reliable down lane, but is also versatile in the way it can be thrown.

    Another amazing Venom

Posted by Jason Lettau on Apr 18th 2022

I drilled up my Blue Coral with the same layout as my Pride (60x5x30) and was immediately blown away with the results! The Blue Coral definitely gets down the lane nicely but provides a nice shape off the friction! This ball is definitely a benchmark type ball for me, in between my Pride and Venom Shock. If you're looking for a ball that's very versatile, especially on your THS, then this is the ball for you! Jason Lettau MOTIV Staff

    The Perfect Compliment

Posted by Daniel Rose on Apr 11th 2022

The Blue Coral Venom might just be the next goat for Motiv. Obviously, the Venom Shock has proved itself time and time again and the Blue Coral Venom has stepped up to the plate. The blue coral is the first hybrid asymmetric in the Venom line. The coercion MFH cover mixed with the proven Gear APG core allows for versatility while drilling the ball to create different motions. I consider the Blue Coral as the perfect compliment to the Venom Shock. I have used this ball a lot on medium-short patterns and when there is friction, It offers great control of the pocket. If you want success and versatility, the Blue Coral Venom is for you. Motiv Staffer: DJ Rose

    Blue Coral Venom

Hand: Right-Handed Ball Weight: 15 lbs. Rev Rate: 500 RPM Ball Speed: 18 Mph Tilt: 10 Rotation: 45 PAP: 5.125” over and .125” up Layout: 45 x 5 5/8 x 40 (Dual Angle) This Blue Coral Venom is another staple in the Venom line. With this Venom being the first ever hybrid, it reads the mid-lane and continues to push until it finds the dry and hooks. This ball is very controllable and continuous. It allows me to play different zones knowing that it will be smooth down lane and split the 8 and 9 pin. This is a must have ball in any bowler’s bag.

    Blue Coral Venom Review

Posted by Mark Wilson on Mar 21st 2022

The Blue Coral Venom is the first hybrid asymmetric found in one of Motiv’s most popular lines the Venom line. The newest addition the Blue Coral Venom is very versatile and gives a great benchmark reaction for higher friction surfaces. Compared to the other asymmetric Venom the Venom Recoil, the Blue Coral Venom gives a stronger and more continuous down lane motion. It’s a tad less than our popular benchmark piece the Pride but is better on higher friction than the Pride.
