Additional product information:

From the start we knew that in order to make the HP2 Line great again, we had to re-imagine what performance from this line should look like. After countless messages and meetings with R&D, it was determined that the ball that set the original HP2 performance standard could be modified to meet the needs of today in terms of motion and reaction.

Inside you will notice the same legendary weightblock shape from the original Wrecker. This part when placed inside our A.I. Core Technology provided the ULTIMATE amount of motion we were looking for to re-establish the HP2 Line. But we didn't stop there. We then spent countless hours with R&D to develop our latest coverstock technology that covers all that you need and want for Medium Oil Conditions. PURE reaction, PURE predictability and PURE performance which ultimately means PURE-Response.

    Wrecking Pins

Posted by Thomas Szczepaniak on May 16th 2025

The HP2 Line is one of my all-time favorites and the Ultimate Wrecker will surely become a new favorite. This ball was a bit stronger than the Hustles but yet not too strong. I felt like this ball really gave me a nice smooth motion the entire way and just walked itself right into the pocket. I was able to use this ball on the fresh and when I went to use it on the lanes after one of the leagues it still gave me a nice smooth roll but the response downlane was a touch more than the Hustles.

    Ultimate Wrecker

Posted by Zachary Woelfel on May 15th 2025

When I’m looking for a ball that blends power, control, and a modern motion shape, the Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker delivers in a big way. It features the updated Wrecker + A.I. Core Technology, which lowers the RG and boosts the differential, helping the ball rev up faster and produce a more dynamic overall motion. The new Pure-Response Hybrid Reactive coverstock, finished with Power Edge factory finish, gives the Ultimate Wrecker a clean look through the fronts with a strong, controlled move in the midlane and a punchy continuation through the pins. Compared to other balls in the Roto Grip lineup like the Duo or Hustle M-M, the Ultimate Wrecker offers more shape and traction than the Hustles but with a quicker response and more downlane pop than the smoother-rolling Duo. It’s the kind of ball that shines when the lanes start to open up or you need a reliable read without sacrificing hit. For league and tournament players alike, the Ultimate Wrecker is a versatile, modern update to a classic name. Go to your local VIP proshop today and get yours!

    NEW Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker

Posted by Kevin Duncan on May 7th 2025

Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker Layout: 4.0 x 4.0 x 2 Storm Pin Buffer Layout Rev Rate: 325 rpm, 7 degree of axis tilt, 40 degree of axis rotation Testing information: 41 foot THS (medium to light volume) Bowling Center: Fulton Bowling Center Kegel Machine – Brunswick Anvilane Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker utilizes the Pure Response hybrid coverstock and the Wrecker A.I. core. The original Wrecker was one of my all-time favorites. I prefer the colors on the original, but I understand colors make a difference to ball reaction. I am sure I will say the same thing about the new colors of the Ultimate Wrecker 20 years down the road. I threw the Ultimate Wrecker on the 2020 World Bowling Montreal oil pattern. It was clean through the front part of the lane but not too clean. It read the midlane at the right spot but continued off the pin deck. The Ultimate Wrecker will be a good middle of the bag ball, maybe just a step under your Rock Star. Visit your local Storm VIP Pro Shop! #Stormnation #SquadRG
