What a difference new bowling shoes make

Only thing is, I should've purchased extra slides because the 7's did not slide easily. Plus, I'm a half size smaller.

Slide sole and heel are not slick enough you have to order different ones in order to use them

Dexter THE C-9 Lazer Color Shift Bowling Shoes Review

Posted by Scott Pittsley on Mar 5th 2024

Comfortable fit, had change the insert ti better help my narrow foot fit more snug in shoe. Unfortunately the heel slips but again I have a narrow fit. The BOA isn’t like shoe laces where you could snug up the front of the foot. Otherwise nice shoe

    Great, but leave marks

I originally loved these shoes. They didn't take long to become comfortable. However, I'm now noticing that they're leaving a lot of marks on the approaches.

Dexter C9 Color Shift Fit and Function

Posted by Vincent warren on Feb 26th 2024

At first, it is a bit of an adjustment to go from the traditional SST6 of mid 2000s to this new shoe structure/technology. I got a bargain price, so did not feel the lack of additional soles was an issue. But, there were some marks on the shoe and it seems this may have been a "factory mistake" shoe. The shoe is really stiff and will take some breaking in. Also, the boa system is totally new to me and I can really feel it when I do any kind of movement in the shoe. I went with 11, but probably should have sent back for 10 1/2. If you waver a 1/2 here and there, I'd go with the smaller size with boa style. Keeps the shoe more snug. I'll update review if I get some games in and the comfort changes.

    Love them.

My old Dexter were worn out and it only took couple minutes to switch soles to this pair. I have the BOA system on some golf shoes so knew I would like it. Shoes were true to size and are very comfortable. No break in time.
