900 Global Origin
900 Global Origin Layout: 4.5 x 4.0 x 2 Storm Pin Buffer Layout Rev Rate: 325 rpm, 7 degree of axis tilt, 40 degree of axis rotation Testing information: 41 foot THS (medium to light volume) Bowling Center: Fulton Bowling Center Kegel Machine – Brunswick Anvilane 900 Global Harsh Origin utilizes the Reserve Batch 93 Blend hybrid coverstock and the new Ellipse AI core. The Origin is becoming one of my favorite balls quickly. I drilled it on a Saturday night and threw it on Sunday at a senior tournament and averaged 240 for 7 games. On top of that, it was from playing 15 and left at the arrows. I just threw it yesterday in a 8 game sweeper that featured a very demanding low ratio oil pattern. By the end of the day, I was crossing 25 at the arrows with the Origin and had the best look of anyone. This senior isn’t use to playing that deep anymore. It was fun. The Origin is going to my step-down from the Physix Blackout or Attention Star S2. I am looking forward to the future with the Origin. Visit your local Storm VIP Pro Shop! #Stormnation #SquadRG

Origin
The Origin is 900 Global’s newest asymmetrical release. It features an all-new aggressive Reserve Blend 93 hybrid coverstock. Inside is the new Ellipse A.I. core. At 15 pounds, the Origin has a low RG of 2.48 with a .050 differential, and a .020 intermediate differential. Looking at the low RG and high intermediate differential, you may think this ball will read early and roll out on the backend, but that is certainly not the case with Origin. The cover is finished with Power Edge which helps provide ease through the front while providing good midlane traction. The backend of the Origin is strong and continuous and the A.I core provides excellent pin action. This is one of the best releases from 900 Global and definitely a ball of the year candidate in my opinion. The versatility of this ball makes it usable on a wide range of conditions by many different styles of bowlers. The Origin is one of the few balls that I can use all night long on a typical league condition. It is also a great tournament ball for medium to heavy oil conditions.

Origin Review
The Origin has an all new core wrapped in the Reserve Blend 93 Hybrid coverstock - Global has changed the Reserve Blend coverstock notations to run between 0-100 to designate the cover strength - so the Reserve Blend 93 is a very strong hybrid coverstock. I drilled the Origin up with my new favorite layout for big asymmetric balls - 5 x 5 x 4 that puts the pin in my middle finger. Hank Boomershine has a great video on the Ellipse AI core - even with the big core, it doesn’t stop downline and start rolling forward. It is very continuous and allowed me to play all over the lane. I typically have a problem carrying the 10 pin when I start moving deep with asymmetric balls, but had no issues moving deep with the Origin. So far, I’ve only been able to use it on our house shot, but found it to be very capable throughout the night. Layout: 5 x 5 x 4 My Specs - Speed - 16 mph, Rev Rate - 315. PAP 5 1/8 x 7/8 Up. Physix Blackout https://www.youtube.com/shorts/n8NFbT7Nrj0 Attention Star S2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3G-wOwqjv0&t=1s... Road Warrior https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8T_lgwG4BM&t=1s Origin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFs8AQas00g&t=1s Ball Reviews: Physix Blackout: The Physix Blackout has become one of my favorite balls. It is usable on a variety of conditions and has become the first out the bag on THS in different centers which play entirely different which shows some of the versatility of this ball. The pearl cover with the 2000 finish allows the ball to be clean through the front of the lane yet smooth off the breakpoint and allows plenty of continuation down lane when it is needed most. I have been able to play with my angles closed and opened as well as get a little deeper into game 2 than other asym options that would typically burn up by this point. This ball, also, was good on sport. Bowling on 45' where my angle was closed towards the pocket this ball provided plenty of motion through the pins given the longer distance and higher volume of what I was bowling on. This ball is a must have for the competitive bowler and is another great rendition in the Physix line. Attention Star S2: The hybrid version of the Attention line is out with a much more controllable smooth motion compared to its predecessor the Attention Star. The S2 is great for those medium to heavier oil conditions when control is needed. I found this very usable on sport conditions when my angles needed to be closed and I wanted to keep everything in front of me and control to the pocket. This ball is slower responding than the original which allows you to use this on the fresh. When the lanes begin to hook up front and a cleaner reaction is needed you can piggy back onto to the original to continue to allow your ball to angle down lane without sacrificing energy and hitting power at the pins. Road Warrior: A new iteration the the popular Road line is back with the Road Warrior. This version is a pearl with the R2S deep cover. It is much slower than the original HyRoad pearl, which makes it more controllable. When you need a cleaner reaction than the stronger asym or symmetrical's the Road Warrior will be a good option to go to. Origin: New core, new cover and tons of power. The Origin is great for those medium to heavier oil conditions. At first, I found the ball a little too clean so I adjusted the surface to 2000 to get it to pick up sooner. The surface adjustment made all the difference in seeing the ball motion I was looking for. I found success on THS when the lanes play tight and I want to play more up the track area. Origin reserved tons of energy as it exited the pattern and continued well through the pins. Also, saw success on sport when my angles needed to slowly open up this ball was strong enough to dig into the deeper part of the lane where oil was still present yet provided strong continuation down lane that didn't sacrifice carry. The Origin will be a good option on on fresh or transition.

Origin
The all new 900 Global Origin has the new Ellipse core with A.I. technology the coverstock on this ball is RB 93 which is one of the more aggressive hybrid coverstocks. This core is quite strong so the layout used was pin down to try and keep this ball from rolling to forward down lane. For having a 900 series cover this ball was cleaner than I expected. Even though it gets down the lane well it does hook earlier than my Attention Star. Players looking for a something stronger than the Attention Star that is a little more forward will love the Origin For tournament players this ball will fit better during the transition when the pattern gets beat up, or when there isn’t a higher amount of volume on the lane. League players who will enjoy the Origin the most will be the slower ball speeds with a lower rev rate, this ball will be strong enough to pick up but not as earlier as the sanded asymmetric balls, also players with a higher rev rate may be able to use this ball on the fresh as this ball revs up earlier and also blends out the pattern better than some of the other shiny balls.

Origin - Ball Specs Cover Stock: 93 Reserve Blend Hybrid Coverstock Finish: Power Edge Core: Ellispse Core with A.I. Layout: 50 x 5 x 40 RG: 2.48 Differential: 0.050 Intermediate Diff: .020 Review The Origin is the first in an all new series for 900 Global. The Reserve Blend 93 hybrid cover shined with power edge wrapped around the new Ellispse A.I. core gives you a big ball that you can use all night in league. The Origin is versatile, it very well could be ball of the year especially house patterns. I tested this ball on a 43 feet typical house pattern. I was able to stand anywhere from the 18 board to 30 board without losing any hitting power. This ball will be in my bag for league and tournaments. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. Global Origin
Ball Specs: Global Origin Cover Stock Hybrid RB93 Reactive Asymmetric Ellipse Core Finish Power Edge Layout 4 x 4 x 2” Pin Buffer Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5” Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: The new Origin is a beautiful new ball by Global. This ball hits as hard as any Global ball I have ever rolled. I carry light hits extremely well with this ball. The A.I. Core seems to really make a difference as far as hit in this ball. The Origin gave me nice roll and hit on a variety of conditions. We did the video on a fresh, slicker than regular house shot and got very good results. The Origin read the mid lane very well but stored good energy for a nice back end movement and hit. This ball is forgiving and I felt I was striking at ease even with shots that where not so great. The Origin could be a benchmark ball for lower rev or higher speed folks and I do not feel the asymmetric core overpowers the cover of the ball. I would put this ball between my Hustle BSY and Harsh Reality Pearl in total hook. I feel this ball will have a wide range of uses for tournament and league bowlers. Summary: The Origin is strong but forgiving on a wide range of lane patterns. The roll, back end and continuation through the pins is excellent. This is a beautiful ball that deserves a lot of attention. Glenn Wendel Storm Pro Shop Staff gwendel@comcast.net www.stormbowling.com Video Link: https://youtu.be/ihtjjtXRZOI?si=mRH6NvYLvtcVuLzz
