Additional product information:
We're excited to introduce a brand-new coverstock material, RB 89 Solid Reactive coverstock, that we have not used before. It is one of the cleanest materials we have ever produced. Made to get through the front of the lane much easier than previous materials.
The solid version was chosen to give people a clean look through the front of the lane with predictability downlane instead of a clean and sideways motion like you would normally see.
Purposely engineered for medium heavy to heavy oil.
The Ellipse Asymmetric A.I. Core makes it more even rolling with more mass towards the center and less towards the poles.
With great continuation, this is a great option for bowling centers with a lot of friction. We created this ball with some of the older lane panels in mind.

Origin EX Review
The Origin was a huge game changer when it was first released. After a big success, it was time to upgrade, this time with a solid version. Introducing the newest addition to the 900 Global arsenal, the Origin EX. This ball is introduced with a brand new coverstock in RBB 89, one that hasn’t been used before. One of the cleanest materials produced, the Origin EX is designed to get through the front part of the lane much easier than previous coverstocks. Purposely designed for medium/heavy oil conditions, the Ellipse AI core gives the EX great continuation, amazing results! I drilled mine at 70 x 5 3/8 x 40. I tested it at my home center of Cortlandt Lanes in Cortlandt Manor, NY. Bowling on their league shot at 42ft, I was quite impressed with this ball motion. Normally, I find solid coverstocks to read the lane much earlier than usual, but when I threw the first couple of shots with the EX, it gets down the lane much further and cleaner, without being super aggressive. I haven’t seen this kind of ball motion as far back as the original Reality, which was also a big success. Once I saw some friction, and started moving right with my feet, the EX would still be properly in play, no snap and jerk, but still smoother and cleaner giving that perfect ball motion. I would highly recommend the Origin EX to all bowlers for contesting on both league and tournament play. It definitely has that benchmark feel for an asymmetrical ball. If you were a fan of the Origin, you will definitely be one for the EX. It makes a great 1-2 punch. Be sure to stop by your local pro shop and drill up an Origin EX, you surely won’t be disappointed with this great piece!! Thomas Coco (Storm Staffer)

900 Global Origin EX
The solid Origin is HERE!! The Origin is strong, clean and continuous, and the Origin EX builds on that success! The EX is clean for a big solid, and the hook shape is very rounded and continuous. While the cover doesn't create a ton on traction in the front or mids, it is very consistent. Compared to the RST-HyperDrive, the EX is cleaner and rounder. The HyperDrive cover is stronger, and it stands up more downlane than the EX. This ball is in Reality territory, which means it's extremely useable for an asym solid. If you liked the Origin, you'll love the EX! -Chase Valenzuela

Now, with the release of the Origin EX, 900 Global has created a great new line of bowling success. The Origin EX is more than another Origin with a solid coverstock. The Origin EX is hand-crafted genius, as the RB 89 Coverstock is as innovative to 900 Global's coverstocks, as the Ellipse A.I. Asymmetric Core was to their 900 Global core designs! And when you combine this core and cover, you get a powerful, pin-crushing machine, making the Origin EX a stand-alone success. So, let's take a closer look at 900 Global's new masterpiece – the Origin EX. The asymmetric Ellipse A.I. Core is a well-balanced core that straighter players would greatly appreciate. The Ellipse A.I. Core revs smoothly for an asymmetric. Yet, it likes to fight to "stand up" without losing its inertia as it heads down the lane. I liked how the Ellipse core finds the mid-lane and continues with a predictable, vibrant motion as it comes off the pattern. Then, with the A.I. core technology surrounding the Ellipse core, the Origin EX delivers a powerful punch through the pins that seriously helps us straighter players carry those light or heavy pocket shots that usually leave us a ten or four pin. Lastly, I found that even with my low-rev hand, the Ellipse A.I. core gave my Origin EX a relentless continuation that I can depend on as a straighter player to deliver the striking results I like to see. Let's talk about the brand-new RB (Reserve Blend) 89 solid reactive coverstock. Most people would think "solid coverstock" is okay, but it is only suitable for fresh and oily lanes, right? Well, think again! The all-new RB 89 coverstock is designed for high-friction environments. So, if you are a straighter player like me, you will love how the RB 89 works exceptionally well when the lanes transition. I loved how the RB 89 reads the front part of the lane without being overly aggressive, and has clean and smooth traction as it rolls through the mid-lane. And what I found most appealing about the RB89 was its ability to blend the conditions for my straighter low-rev hand! Gone was the struggle of watching as the ball "jumps" when it finds friction, or "skids" out of bounds because it hit too much oil. Lastly, as a straighter player, I found the RB 89 solid coverstock provided a controlled and readable shape I can count on to keep my straighter game in play all night. In conclusion, 900 Global has created another successful ball for your arsenal with the Origin EX. The combination of the Ellipse A.I. Asymmetric core and the all-new RB 89 solid coverstock is a great combination that delivers the consistency, power, and continuation that straighter players like and depend on. Further, the Origin EX makes a great single choice for many straighter bowlers. However, it also fits perfectly between a heavy oil monster asymmetric and a late-night smooth symmetric, making the Origin EX a great complement to any straighter player's arsenal. So, stop into your local Storm VIP Pro shop today and see how the 900 Global Origin EX fits into your arsenal and why 900 Global continues to be striking worldwide! The Origin EX is that good! 900 Global Origin EX review by Lonnie Pemberton
TESTING ENVIRONMENT Length:43 Volume: Med-High Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS COMMENTS Core: Ellipse Asymmetrical A.I. (14-16#) Coverstock: RB93 Hybrid Reactive Finish: Power Edge RG: 2.48 (#15) Differential: 0.050 (#15) PSA: .020 (#15) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 12-13 mph Rev Rate: 315 Axis Tilt: 14° Axis Rotation: 74° PAP: 5 1/8 R 7/8 Up Ball Layout: Pin Over Middle Finger 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 X 2 VLS The newest 900 Series release from 900 Global is called the Origin. It features a new Core/Cover combo that creates amazing length, down-lane miotion and continuation. The Ellipse A.I. core features an Intermediate Differential number higher than you've ever seen in a 900 Global ball. Teamed up with the Reserve Blend 93 cover you get power in the right place. The Origin checks every box, great control, motion and continuation. I tested the Origin for the first time in league. I took it out game 2 so I could figure out if it was going to look better in the transition or on the burn. My only regret was not starting the night with it because it turns out it was better on EVERYTHING. I noticed right away that I had more forgiveness on my misses than I'd had lately. If I pulled the ball into the puddle it still peeled off and went through the pins. If I over-threw it, it came screaming back. I really took away the over/under of the pattern too. As I bumped left I kept waiting for the ball to stop wanting to come around because with the amount of over-all hook I got out of the ball, I assumed I couldn't see it keep continuing when I got really deep. No issues the rest of the night. I threw it on a lane with some open play traffic a few days later. The Origin clears early friction remarkably well for so strong a ball, but it also really cuts through the carry-down oil. It's a special ball that feels useful on every lane no matter what condition the oil is in. Compared to even my Harsh Reality Pearl, (Which I loved) its just so incredibly versatile. I'm very hyped by what I've seen of the origin. It's versatility reminds me of the original Zen and I feel like it's going to draw the same following as more people figure out how special this ball is. Origin EX
900 Global Origin EX - 900 Series Coverstock: Reserve Blend 89 Solid - 2000 Abralon Core: Ellipse A.I. RG: 2.48 Differential: .050 (15 lbs) PSA: .020 Layout: 5.25 x 5 x 2.75 PAP: 6" Right, 1 3/8" Up Axis Tilt: 16° Rotation: 51° Rev Rate: 450-500 Speed: 17-18 mph Location: Vista Lanes - Yorkville, NY Pattern: Kegel Carbon Lane Surface: HPL The Origin EX is the latest release in the Origin series and features the new Reserve Blend 89 solid cover along with the revolutionary Ellipse A.I core. The RB 89 cover was specifically designed for high friction surfaces and will clear the fronts while providing a smooth and controlled downlane reaction. The Ellipse A.I. core was created to push the boundaries of asymmetric performance, allowing for maximum energy retention. The Origin EX is currently the only solid asymmetric ball in the 900 Global lineup, but would be a step down from the Ion Max or Hyperdrive. The Origin EX gave me a great look sliding on 24, looking 13 at the arrows with my breakpoint around 4-5. I was able to move left and not sacrifice ball motion and carry with speed and hand position adjustments. When compared to the Origin, the Origin EX was cleaner through the fronts with a much smoother and continuous downlane motion. The Origin changes direction much quicker and rolls more forward through the pins. Depending on the pattern and lane surface, the Origin EX could be the first ball out of your bag to blend out a cliffed house pattern or a number two ball on heavier tournament conditions. The Origin EX sets a new standard for dynamic core technology while delivering unmatched control and power with every throw. Stop by your local Storm VIP pro shop to check it out! Origin EX
As a bowler who thrives on versatility and control, the 900 Global Origin has been a game-changer in my arsenal. The new Ellipse A.I. core, with its low RG of 2.48 and high differential of 0.050, revs up quickly and maintains energy through the pins, providing a strong and continuous backend motion. Paired with the RB89 Solid coverstock and 2000 grit finish, the Origin EX offers a midlane traction and even ball roll throughout the lane, making it ideal for medium to heavy oil conditions. Compared to other balls in the 900 Global lineup, the Origin EX fits perfectly between the Harsh Reality and Origin, offering more control off the breakpoint compared to other balls in this line. Its ability to adapt as lanes transition without sacrificing carry makes it a reliable choice for league play and tournaments alike. For bowlers seeking a strong, asymmetric solid that delivers both power and control, the Origin EX is a must-have addition to the bag. Go to your local VIP proshop today and get yours!

900 Global Origin EX
The Origin EX brings a lot of control to the table — it doesn’t jump or overreact, even on fresh oil where many aggressive solid balls tend to burn up or check too early. With the 4 x 4 x ½ layout, you're dialing into a strong, early revving core motion with a smoother backend, and this ball delivers exactly that. One of the most impressive aspects is how clean this ball gets through the front part of the lane, especially for a solid cover. The RB 89 Solid coverstock is tuned just right — it doesn’t dig in and start hooking at your toes, but instead glides through the first 20 feet with ease. That’s a huge plus when you’re bowling on a house shot where the fronts can get fried quickly, especially after a few games. The ball starts reading in the midlane in a very controlled manner. It doesn’t snap or jerk off the spot, which makes it very predictable, a trait that's crucial for both league and tournament play. The motion is round and smooth, helping you stay in the pocket even as you migrate left during transition. The 900 Global Origin EX is a true benchmark asymmetric solid, and with the 4 x 4 x ½ layout, you're getting a great mix of midlane control and backend stability. This ball doesn’t try to do too much, and that’s exactly why it works so well. If you're a league bowler or tournament player looking for a predictable, readable ball that still has teeth to strike, the Origin EX deserves a spot in your bag.

Pretty Smooth
The Origin EX’s new coverstock really had me intrigued from the start. I love solids in general and to have a cover that clears the front part of the lane especially in some places that have a lot more friction. The fact that this ball is asymmetrical and is as smooth as it is could be a gamechanger for tournament arsenals. I definitely noticed it when I went to use the ball in my last night of league it was more tame than I anticipated.

Origin Review
Drilled my 900 Global Origin Ex (4 x 4 x 2). Medium Rev rate and medium speed bowler. The 900 Global Origin Ex is silky smooth through the front part of the lane storing energy to make a controlled strong movement coming off the end of the pattern crushing the pins as the 900 Global Origin Ex drives through the pin deck. The 900 Global Origin Ex will be a great first game ball on a medium oil pattern. #stormnation #SquadRG #strikingworldwide

900 Global Origin Ex Review
The 900 Global Origin Ex features the RB 89 Solid Reactive cover, Ellipse Asymmetric A.I. Core, and comes at 2000-grit finish. This is the newest Origin in the 900 Global line and is a solid version of the original origin. Even though this is a solid version it was designed to be a cleaner cover for the everyday house shot. Compared to the original Origin, the Ex will not be as responsive down lane and more control. For me, the original is much more responsive and quicker off the spot. I will be pairing the Origin ex with the Rockstar a lot in my bag. When the Rockstar feels like it isn’t making the corner I can get the Origin Ex out for that situation. The Ex should sit between the X-Cell and Absolute Power and be a ball down from the Hyperdrive and ION Max. This is going to be a home run from 900 Global!
