Brunswick Ethos Bowling Ball

The Brunswick Ethos is a great symmetrical bowling ball for transition during tournaments! It is very angular and clean through the front part of the lane. I have yet to change the surface of the bowling, but I am hearing this ball does very well with surface changes. I feel this ball is best used on medium to short patterns during transition.

The Ethos has great shelf appeal. It is clean and continuous ball motion. It really reacted well to surface adjustment.

This ball takes the Brunswick line to a performance level I haven’t seen in quite some time.. the new core with the HK22 base shows more mid lane with greater finish than previous Melee Jab releases.

I wouldn’t call it angular with my 4 inch pin up layout, which makes it a good option as the transitional ball down from a Brunswick Mindset or most other asymmetrical heavy oil balls. I have had success later in blocks or in match play throwing the Ethos once I really have to get left and begin to circle the lane. Ethos is a good option for those looking for the middle of the road type ball reaction in the bag. This isn’t your biggest hook monster of a ball but it is also not a ball for the Sahara desert. The Brunswick Ethos is a very clean and angular bowling ball. I can not say enough how clean and controllable the Ethos is. It takes hand position changes very well. You can roll it up the back and control the back end, or you can get around it, and hook the whole lane when needed. The ethos rolls great on house shots, and Sport conditions. Don't get me wrong this new Strong symmetrical pearl has a lot of hook potential with really good pin carry. I went with a 4 in pin to make it very versatile. The Ethos is a really good ball for drier to medium lane conditions.

The Brunswick Ethos is a new big symmetrical Pearl that is super clean in the fronts with very good continuation down lane. I went with a stronger 4 in pin layout. This gives me a very versatile ball motion on sport conditions and house patterns. I can't say enough how clean through the fronts the Ethos is, however, it is very controllable on the backend. The Ethos is great ball for every style of bowler and works well on medium to shorter lane patterns. Great addition to the Brunswick lineup.

Ethos is incredibly angular and a perfect ball down for breakdown on any pattern. The symmetrical core with the combination of HK22 pearl gives the ethos the absolute cleanest and most angular ball motion I’ve ever seen in a Brunswick ball. In addition to being very clean downlane I was very surprised at how well the Ethos took to surface changes. The Ethos was able to take more surface while maintaining downlane motion and control. It’s the perfect ball down from my Envy Tour Pearl and gives me a similar reaction with a cleaner reaction through the fronts.

This ball reminds me of the Melee line because of the coverstock. SH4.0 Pearl (Savvy Hook 4.0) with the HK22 additive, this ball is clean and smooth through the fronted and mids, and has a pop at the back end. Really really smooth ball in my opinion

The Ethos is the ball you want in your bag if you are a fan of the Jab line. With the Ethos you don’t get that early hook that carbon would give you. The Ethos gets thought the front of the lane and with the HK-22 pearl you get that strong motion to the pocket with enough energy to carry the corner pins.

Brunswick Ethos is the latest Symmetrical Pearl from Brunswick. First is the color, it is a beautiful bowling ball. Performance is fantastic as well. It is very quick and angular in shape. If you need to slow it down and smooth out the transition, it does react well to surface changes.
