    C300 High Speed

Posted by David Meyer on Apr 3rd 2024

I was a big fan of the C300 Speed. The High Speed is cleaner through the front and the backend motion is incredible. I drilled mine 65 x 5 x 35 and was able to pop off a 278 278 258 = 814 hot off the press!!!

    Beast

Posted by Justin Bell on Mar 26th 2024

I’ve had the Columbia 300 Mad Antics for nearly a decade. Still throw it and will always do so. I was looking for a ball similar to it and was directed to this ball: High Speed. Since my Mad Antics had a 4000 Grit Abralon added I included it here. Rolled it last night, aside from getting use to it, my first game was a 247. After the second game I had to put it in my bag because the lanes were breaking down and I went back to my Mad Antics. Finished the night with a 662 set. Season average is a 217. I am so glad I bought this ball and I am very please with it. It hooks like a beast and when I get it out wide it comes back with power towards the pocket.

    High Speed Baby

Absolutely love this version of the speed lineup. It reads the mid lane super strong and extremely continuous on the back end. Used on multiple league patters and last years doubles and singles national pattern, and I could really open up all of my angles. It also takes surface adjustments extremely well if its too clean out of box! 10 out 10!!

    The best Speed Yet

Posted by TimC on Jan 19th 2024

OG Speed was hybrid and for me was super strong. When the Top Speed came out I was super excited but was shortly let down. The pearl cover just seemed to not have enough traction for that big core causing a late/weak reaction.. High Speed’s new hybrid cover mixes the best of both worlds!

    High Speed

Posted by Chris Freeland on Jan 15th 2024

Ball: Columbia 300 High Speed Coverstock: HK22 - Formula 1 Hybrid Core: Shifter Factory Finish: 500, 1000, 1500 Siaair / Factory Compound Layout: 45 x 4 x 35 The High Speed is a shiny hybrid asymmetric that combines defined mid-lane with backend for days. I find the High Speed to be really good on medium to the lighter side of heavier oil patterns. While some shiny balls can be difficult to throw on flatter patterns, with the High Speed’s mid-lane control, it is effective on sport patterns, as well as house. If you are a bowler looking for a shiny ball that blends control with backend, you may want to give the High Speed a try. Aggressive but angular

Posted by Jeffrey Poholsky on Oct 16th 2023

The Columbia 300 High Speed is fast becoming one of my favorite pieces in my bag. It's angular yet has enough teeth to respond in medium to heavy oil and not skip past the breakpoint if I'm a bit too aggressive. This ball really handles the midlane well and I can use it on a variety of patterns, fresh or blended. Mine is drilled 70 x 4 1/2 x 35 and with that layout it remains quick off the spot but also the traction in the cover allows it to see the lane at the proper time. I highly recommend giving this ball a try. You won't be disappointed! A great release from the team at Columbia 300 and Brunswick Bowling. Jeff Poholsky Brunswick Regional Staff

    No Higher Speed than this!!

Posted by Darnell Bell on Sep 6th 2023

I drilled High Speed exactly the same as Top Speed and man o man the Highspeed is much more responsive than my top speed. This Hybrid release has to be up there with the Widow2.0 hybrid. If you loved the top speed motion and wanted a tad more.. High speed is your man....lol
