It wants to read the lane early and make a smooth arc to the pocket. It’s an excellent benchmark ball that can help bowlers read the lane. The straighter the trajectory, the better this ball performed. With my rev rate, balls sent a little wide would 10 pin. I’ve not had a chance to use this on sport so far, but I believe it would be a very good game 1 & 2 ball as it should blend the lane well from front to back. Higher rev players can expect good control with minimal over/under reaction. Finally, the surface will take adjustments well, so don’t be afraid to the pads to get the desired grit. Another Gamebreaker, another great ball from Ebonite. This GB5 Hyrbrid has the characteristics as all Gamebreakers, with more heavy roll. This one picks up a little sooner in the midlane and more heavy roll on the backend. This ball works better for me with with the sanded finish vs polish. You can't go wrong with a Gamebreaker ball. GB5 works very well on house conditions and Sport shots. I went with a 50 x 4.5 x 30 layout.
