Hammer Effect Bowling Ball

The Hammer Effect is a winner! This new cohesion pearl sees to really react well to a variety of lane conditions. Where some pearls get over under at times, this ball seems to pick up a little sooner in the right part of the lane. It's quick off the spot and very continuous. I'm really a fan of this ball!

Chris did an amazing job! After watching me shoot some he knew exactly how to lay this ball out. It is so comfortable, controllable, and consistent. I absolutely love it! It is the second ball I've purchased from Buddies and Chris did them both. I live 4.5 hours away from the shop and would gladly drive it again because the quality of work is so good. I love this one. Nice overall consistent roll. More like a benchmark pearl for the symmetrical ball. I drilled min 60 x 4 x 30 which creates nice length and quick response to friction downlane. It has great Hammer ball motion and does not disappoint.. Get to your local pro shop to get one before its to late.

The Hammer Effect couples outstanding performance with attractive visual appeal. I've only thrown this ball a few sessions, but some pieces you can just tell are going to be special and this is one of them. It's quick off the spot and drives through the pins beautifully. Overall hook is in the medium range, but this ball seems to hook at the right time to allow predictability and ease of making adjustments. For me, there are better options on very slick patterns, but for medium volumes and lengths, including house patterns, it matches up well. I have it laid out at 55 x 5 x 35 and it's become my favorite pearl in my arsenal. The newly designed core is a perfect fit for this cover, Hammer has created a versatile ball with shape and continuation needed to perform on today's conditions. I have thrown the Effect on three different patterns, and I am loving this ball. Threw it on a house shot. I could miss left and not have the weak 10 or ring 10, when the ball never really picks up. This ball picks up! I also threw it on the 45’ Dick Weber and 43’ Earl Anthony. I get a great motion on both. I didn’t expect the motion I got on the Anthony. I am very impressed. Clean but not super skip-flip, just a good strong motion. Averaged over 230 on the Weber the first time I used the Effect in competition.

The hype is real for the new Hammer Effect. I have thrown Hammer equipment for many years, and the Effect is completely different ball roll. The Effect is very clean, but revs up quickly and CONTINUES. The Huntsman core (combination of the Vibe core and Gask Mask) makes the Effect a one of kind ball roll. I went with 60 x 4.5 x 30, which is a little stronger pin. I will probably drill another one with a weaker pin. The effect will match up for a variety of lane conditions. It rolls awesome on league shots, just keep moving left. The effect also rolls very well on sport shots by controlling the pocket. This is one of the best ball motions from any bowling ball on the market. You will not be disappointed. Another great addition to the Hammer line up.

Homerun for Hammer. This ball is soooo smooth but still continues through the pins with plenty of power. First time thrown after the pattern broke down there was no problem getting the Effect to the breakpoint. This is a must buy for benchmark of anything you need.
