Additional product information:

Big hook and no stop on the backend; that’s Extreme Envy! The first Envy handled heavy oil easily, but bowlers have been asking for more pop on the backend, and we’ve delivered that with the new Extreme Envy. We started with the Envy cover and added carbon fiber; this addition has created a heavy oil ball that does not quit on the backend. Extreme Envy has a different core than the original Envy, this version of the Launcher core has a slightly lower RG and was created to match the Envy CFI cover perfectly.  Everything about this new Envy is Extreme; you’ll be extremely happy with yours whenever you need lots of hook!

    Extremely Envious

The Hammer Extreme Envy is not as early rolling as the original Envy and has more finish down lane. This ball does not quit. Lefties will love it for the way this ball reacts when your the only one breaking down the lanes and Righties will love it for the ability to play heavy to medium and follow the oil. This ball will be in my bag in league and tournaments and is a great Solid with Angle

Extreme Envy:  This early rolling oil eater is a Monster on heavy patterns. The Extreme Envy is the most aggressive ball that I have ever used. When I need a ball to roll through the puddle, this is the first out of my bag. The ball is strong and continuous, without losing control of the pocket. I can keep the reaction in front of me on longer patterns without the ball coming off the end of the pattern too sharp. Strong reaction with control is necessary on long patterns and this ball checks all the boxes. The Extreme Envy is for oil.

    Extreme Envy

Hammer Extreme Envy is much better than the original Envy Solid. This by far the strongest of the envy line with a heavy roll but not as early has the previous. This ball has backend reaction that every bowler looks for. I really loved the Hammer Obsession Solid, and this ball is slightly less. I feel this ball is at its best on medium or long oil patterns. I’ve kept this ball at 1000-grit.

If you are looking for a heavy oil ball, this is it. I drilled this ball with a pin up layout, 65x3.5x35. For me, this ball is similar to my Envy, but it isn't as early and has more down lane motion. It is a heavy rolling ball and for comparison, it reminds me of my Hammer Redemption Solid. I feel like this ball will work best on heavier and longer oil patterns.

I am a fool roller and this is one of the best bowling balls I've ever bought. it works well on oily lanes and hooks hard at the end.

    Extreme Envy

I drilled mine 45 X 5 ½ X 25. The Hammer Extreme Envy has the same cover as the original Envy, but carbon fiber was added, making this a big ball that does not quit downlane. The Extreme Envy is an excellent high-performance asymmetric for medium to heavy oil lane conditions. It does remind me of the original Envy, which I love, but this ball is much more angular on the backend. Also, take advantage of our free hoodie or pullover promotion through the Hammer website when you purchase an Extreme Envy or Envy Tour Pearl.

    Extreme Envy

The Extreme Envy is very impressive! I can get this ball back from almost anywhere and even if you miss wide it stills kicks out the corners. Most big piece bowling balls can lose their energy the deeper you get but not the Extreme Envy. In comparing this ball to the Envy Tour, both are smooth through the fronts but the Extreme is much stronger in the backend. Not only does it hook in the heaviest of oil, it still has enough energy to send the pin’s flying. Don't forget now you even get Hammer swag when you order!

    This ball hooks!

Posted by Eric A. on Oct 31st 2023

This is the most hooking ball in my arsenal. It is great to have a ball that I know will hook, so I can relax my swing and not have to try and pull the ball to the pocket. I have used it on both short and long patterns.

My first impressions of the Hammer Extreme Envy is it's a pretty special ball. I practiced with it against my other two big asymmetric solids, the Brunswick Mindset & the DV8 Hellcat, both pieces I like. In the beginning I found them all to be pretty similar, but when moving my feet left and getting deeper on the lane the Extreme Envy took over. Unlike most big pieces that will burn up and lose hitting power in deep, the Extreme Envy kept coming. Instead off flat ten or 2-8 the Extreme Envy kept running over the 8 pin. It stayed strong where most big solids don't like to hit from. I drilled mine at 65 x 3-1/2 x 25 and hits like a truck. In the arsenal!
