Additional product information:

Prepare to be shocked by the unstoppable force of the MOTIV EVOKE – a ball that refuses to be overlooked. Featuring vibrant colors, a revolutionary new core design, and the next evolution of an already triumphant coverstock system; the EVOKE is here to dominate heavier concentrations of oil.

Introducing the ferocious Overload core, a dynamic asymmetrical marvel engineered to fill a strategic gap in the MOTIV line. What makes this core so special is that it boasts the ability to change the differential with drilling by up to 25%.  Some drilling layouts will even lower the differential to help rev dominant bowlers retain energy. No previous MOTIV core could achieve this.

Paired with the Overload core is the new Leverage MXC Solid Reactive coverstock. This cutting-edge shell blends the renowned Leverage coverstock technology from the Black Venom with the aggressive components of the Forge Flare. This combination ensures superior traction in even the most challenging high-oil environments.

This cover features the new cutting-edge DuraMax Technology—an innovative additive meticulously crafted to prevent lane-shine, extending the lifespan of the coverstock. DuraMax technology ensures that the Evoke will consistently maintain its finish at a significantly longer rate without breaking down, refusing to succumb to wear and tear. With DuraMax, the Evoke becomes a beacon of resilience, outlasting expectations and guaranteeing an enduring performance.

Speed Dominant Bowlers

Speed dominant bowlers need traction on the lane to repeat with confidence.  However, there had previously been a large gap between the Jackal Ambush and the Pride Dynasty when trying to stay in slow response asymmetrical balls.  The Evoke is the perfect bridge between these two balls and a critical part of the progression for a speed dominant bowler

Balanced Bowlers

Balanced bowlers will use the Evoke as a first ball out of the bag on lower friction lane surfaces.  With a coverstock that is easier through the front than a Jackal Ambush, but with a more substantial footprint on the lane than the balls in the line created for medium oil, the Evoke is a great benchmark for bowlers on higher concentrations of oil or on lower friction synthetic lane surfaces.

Rev Dominant Bowlers

A rev dominant bowler can use the Evoke as their heavy oil control ball without any need for more traction or control.  The MOTIV Evoke will easily serve as a rev dominant player’s strongest asymmetrical ball in the bag and give them the traction and smooth response to friction needed on challenging or heavy oil conditions.

    2 handed lefty evoke review

Posted by erik sadowski on Apr 19th 2024

Best motiv bowling ball for a 2x6x5 2ls layout. 540 rpms at 16mph and this ball walks right into the pocket with out over hooking on a high friction house shot. I recommend this ball if you struggle alot with over under do to your 500+ rpms.

    The Evoke

Posted by Larry D Clark on Apr 4th 2024

I think I'm going to really like this ball, it has a strong midlane read and a very strong backend motion. I drilled mine 60x5x40 and I'm playing with it to see where it fits into my arsenal. I hope to shoot a 300 game with it.

Unique colors to match its ball motion

Posted by Eric George on Mar 13th 2024

Holy Colorful Batman! A very unique piece offered from Motiv. This eye-catching ball is a good 1st ball out of the bag to control the pocket. Super early with a controlled motion to the pocket. I have to work very hard to make the Evoke bounce off the friction when opening up the lane. I can only stay with the Evoke a couple games before having to switch out of it to a Nuclear Forge or Black Venom. A must have for tournament players that frequent sport shots. Amazing in Every Way

Posted by Daniel Rose on Mar 5th 2024

This ball is unbelievable. Usually I judge bowling balls on how much they optimize their performance level but the Evoke does so much more. First off, the bright colors are gorgeous and look amazing going down the lane. The versatility for drilling that the brand new Overload core allows is unlike anything we have seen in the industry. The Leverage™ MXC Solid cover stock wrapped around the Overload core has allowed me to throw this ball on so many patterns. While I found this ball as an earlier hooking ball, It has provided me much more down-lane motion than I ever expected. I have been able to throw it on patterns from 48ft to 38ft. The versatility both from a drilling perspective and overall performance perspective has made the Evoke one of the greatest balls Motiv has ever released. Motiv staff member: DJ Rose

Best Beach Ball I've ever Thrown!!!

Posted by K. Matthew Byrd (Motiv Staffer) on Feb 10th 2024

    K. Matthew Byrd (Motiv Staffer) Hand: Right-Handed Ball Weight: 15 lbs. Rev Rate: 500 RPM Ball Speed: 18 Mph Tilt: 10 Rotation: 45 PAP: 5.125” over and .125” up Layout: 45 x 5 7/8 x 25 (Dual Angle) The “Beach Ball” may look like your typical family vacation pass time but the new Evoke is something completely different. The new Evoke is not your ordinary bowling ball, it features the new Overload Core, this asymmetrical core that has the ability to change the differential with drilling up to 25%. The new Overload Core is covered by the new Leverage MXC Solid reactive cover with the Duramax additive to deter lane shine. The new Evoke is very round and slow around the corner on longer patterns. With a pin up layout on the Evoke like mine I noticed the Evoke track flares are wider. With wider track flares the Evokes slows down at the breakpoint while it makes its move to the pin deck. To me the Evoke can be my go-to ball when I need something bigger than the Pride Dynasty. I will get another Evoke pin down for house patterns and my pin up Evoke will be in my tournament bag. The Evoke “Beach Ball” will be in my league and tournament bag for the foreseeable future.
