Additional product information:
The Deep Impact core design features very dynamic after-drilling numbers, which have proven very helpful for locking in your performance. In addition to strong core dynamics, we have wrapped it in our HK22C+ Hybrid cover, which gives it a strong mid-lane move and strong recovery.
The Deep Impact has an RG of 2.48, a total differential of .054, and an intermediate differential of .018. It features a 3 to 1 differential ratio between the intermediate and total differential, which we have found yields the best continuation numbers.

BALL SPECS Pin Length: 2-3 Ball Weight: 15 DRILL PATTERN Dual Angle: 55 X 4.5 X 40 BOWLER INFO: Style: RH Stroker – Speed Dominant Rev Rate: 260 Ball Speed: 16 -17 PAP/Track: PAP: 5” over and 5/8" up SURFACE PREP Box Finish LANE CONDITION House – Fresh and Broken Down Sport – Jr Gold 46 feet (leftovers from youth sport league) COMMENTS The Deep Impact by Radical is a versatile, strong asymmetric ball. It worked very well on fresh and broken down house patterns provided they were at least medium volume. The drill pattern chosen for this piece creates a strong rounded ball motion. It enters the pins with good angle and hitting power. On the Jr Gold pattern, the Deep Impact did well from the deep inside line I played considering my rev rate. I was able to play very direct to the pocket, and the ball would just tip over before it hit the pins. Higher rev rates will have had an excellent look. The swirls make the Deep Impact easy to read as it goes down the lane, and it’s noticeable when the ball changes direction. Another plus for this ball is it takes surface adjustments well. I’ve had good luck with fresh 2000 on it as well as some lane shine. I can recommend this ball for a variety of styles. Thanks for reading this review. Good bowling to all!

Deep impact
Deep impact I recently punched up this ball. My layout choice is 45 x 4 1/2 x 35. My ball speed is around 14.0 mph. My Rev rate is around 275 rpms. This layout is close to layout B on the Radical bowling technologies suggest layout. With the factory finish and my ball speed it was a little strong for my house shot pattern. I took the ball surface to 3000 grit. I was to use it on my house pattern. It has great continuous through the pins. It allows me to move a little deeper inside and still recovers. I think it is a great addition to the Radical bowling technologies line. Thanks, Robert Way
