Additional product information:

What if I told you we could make the Evil Eye even better? Radical is excited to announce a new addition to the Top-Shelf line, the Vexed. The Vexed is an asymmetrical version of the Evil Eye. We used the same technology that made the Evil Eye one of the hottest balls on the market and made tweaks to create an asymmetrical complement.

The Vexed has an Rg of 2.49, an intermediate differential of .012, and a total differential of .036, resulting in a differential ratio of 3 to 1. This is the sweet spot for differential ratios. The Vexed's drilling numbers pick up where the Evil Eye's left off. The Evil Eye's intermediate differential ranged from a low of .007 to a high of 023, while the Vexed ranges from a low of .008 to a high of .029.

The drilling instructions for the Vexed are based on the same concept as the Evil Eye, taking into account where the thumb hole is placed. Both balls use drilling into the core protrusion to dictate performance; the difference being that the Vexed core allows for more motion down lane, making it the perfect complement to the Evil Eye.

When our testers compared Vexed to the Evil Eye, they found an increase in overall hook and a sharper backend motion due to the stronger core and upgraded HK22C+ cover. They all agreed that the Vexed and the Evil Eye are a perfect one-two punch.

Low Flare Experiment to use instead of Urethane

Posted by RJ Alman on Jun 22nd 2026

BALL SPECS Pin Length: 3 - 4 Ball Weight: 15 DRILL PATTERN Dual Angle: 135 X 2 X 75 BOWLER INFO: Style: RH Stroker – Speed Dominant Rev Rate: 260 Ball Speed: 16 -17 PAP/Track: PAP: 5” over and 5/8" up SURFACE PREP Box Finish and surface refreshes LANE CONDITION House 42 ft Jr Gold – 36 ft COMMENTS My plan for this ball was to create a manageable reaction on flatter patterns. I drilled the Vexed like this after reading about how short pin drillings could be used to create a urethane look. One recommendation was to get a low diff asymmetric ball with a strong cover, and the Vexed fit. It reacted very well when the back end of the lane was fresh. It read the lane early and came off the pattern smoothly with good hitting power. As the oil began to carry down, 10 pins would begin to stand on less than solid pocket hits. However, the ball was very controllable and allowed me to stay in the pocket without making large adjustments. If you are looking to add this type of reaction to your bag, the Vexed is an excellent choice. I really like the way it rolls and plan to get another one with a more traditional drilling. Thanks for reading this review. Good bowling to all!

    Vexed

Posted by Robert way on Apr 7th 2026

Radical Vexed I’m a left handed bowler. My ball speed is around 14.5 mph. My Rev rate is around 275 rpms. I recently punched this ball. My layout choice is D moderate control. This layout allows me to stay outside of the second arrow. I have been very impressed with this ball. It is very clean through the fronts. And rolls up to the pocket very nicely. When the pattern is playing a little tighter all I have to do is sand the ball a little to get it pick up sooner. I use this ball on my house shot and short sport pattern. I think it is a great addition to the Radical Bowling Technologies line. Thanks, Robert way
